I bought my house a year ago and hired Home Evolution to do some work before moving in. Painting the inside, tearing down and replacing the ceiling in 2 bedrooms, laying some vinyl plank flooring, hanging 2 ceiling fans and replacing sink and toilet in bathroom. It was not a good experience working with them. Not one room in my house was completed. Plumbing in bathroom was not hooked up properly and my new $400 sink was ruined. He then tried to blame me for it. Not to mention the work was not completed on time, per the contract. The workers he had at the time were not good. My house was left unlocked every night and not secure by Rod.

Rod was wonderful to work with, he gave us a fair price for renovating our deck and completed the work on time and within budget. Manny and Stacy did all of the work on our deck, and did a fabulous job. New railings, cleaned, stained and replaced old boards. The new deck looks wonderful. One of the few contractors that we have worked with who finishes the job and makes sure the homeowner is happy with the results before the final payment!

Rod and his team were supposed to have my entire rental house renovated from 4/23/24 to 5/15/24 - I put down a deposit of $14945.00 on 4/5/24. The only work they had done by 5/15/24 was clearing out the garage - NOTHING ELSE was accomplished, including siding, installing baseboard heaters, installing 3 GCFIs, removing a basement furnace, painting, replacing 4 plastic windows, etc. Rod used excuses like the weather for the siding and windows, however the weather was not bad the entire three weeks of the scope of the project. In fact, another house in town had their siding replaced in the same time frame. The weather also did not excuse the work that could have been done in the interior. Rod agreed to refund the deposit minus city taxes (which were never on my invoice to begin with) and the asbestos test (which I still haven't seen, but they have claimed was done) before 5/29/24. On 6/5/24 - Rod sent me a "refund invoice" in which he is trying to take 6% out of my deposit for taxes (city taxes are 1%), $350 out for permits (which I haven't seen nor did I ever sign any permit applications as the property owner), $400 fee for window restock (did not see these windows he claimed to order), $200 for trash removal from garage (this was actually the only thing done), and $200 for the asbestos test (again, did not see) for a total of $2046.34. When asked for documentation for all this, Rod said he would supply it the next day - which he did not. To this day, I still not have received any sort of refund. Be very careful giving a deposit and working with them, they will lie straight to your face.

Update as of 7/8/24 - no refund received and they still have my $14945.00.

Update as of 7/26/24 - Rod has blocked my number and I have not received my refund. Do not do business with this company.

I highly recommend this Company to everyone. Their excellant ppl to deal with and GREAT workers. Did excellent job on my Roof. Rod worked with me every step of the way. Rod and Stacey are great ppl.

1. I contracted with Home Evolution & Repair to finish my downstairs basement; and while performing the installation of the wiring, it became apparent that my hot water heater needed to be replaced. Additionally, I decided to install an acid neutralizer that required new wiring for both the acid neutralizer and water softener which had to be relocated near the water pump.

I would like to thank Home Evolution & Repair specifically, Rod and David for their attention to detail and the quality of work performed. I not only saved on the purchase of the hot water heater and acid neutralizer but received excellent customer service that gave me the results I expected.

2. I had wanted to build a custom She Shed for several years to free up space in my garage and basement. Most of the designs I reviewed from Lowe’s, Amish Country, Home Depot and the other shed outlets, did not meet my standards as they all looked like barns. I contracted with Home Evolution Repair & Remodeling to design and build a beautiful 12x10 shed to match my house. Once the gravel and cement were poured, it took less than four days to build and complete.

Rod’s team of experts (Manny, Stacy and Jordan) did a phenomenal job in completing the work based on my design. The temperature was in the 90’s all four days they worked.
GORGEOUS!!!! Home Evolution Repair & Remodeling knows how to build for things to last that are sturdy. Rod’s team is knowledgeable and can work around your budget. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking to get a shed or any other customized designs constructed.

Rod was very patient with us and did high quality work on our basement that was unfinished and made it into a beautiful living quarters for my son to cherish for the rest of his life. Will definitely recommend him for any kind of home repair.
