Thanks for your work highway 20 in Idaho, but poor control of traffic and your heavy equipment resulted in both lanes being opened before the new surfaces being all the way drivable. Loose gravel was not yet coated.

Me and several cars behind us had our windshields cracked as your equipment drove by.

Edit: As of December, we submitted a claim to their website, called four times, and left multiple messages. No one in their claim department ever calls back. Recommend doing business with someone else.

I truly believe that all of these paving companies around Idaho are inept at their job. They get these government contracts and then sit on them forever, I've done third-party work with these guys and Depatco and I've never seen so many guys in charge that are clueless as to what is going on and what the job scope is.
They basically show up to get a paycheck. It's amazing to me that we keep hiring such inept companies. You go to Wyoming and watch them completely repave hundreds of miles of road in a matter of weeks. They have one machine going up grinding the road and another machine following paving it.
In southeast Idaho they put Band-Aids on everything and it's a joke. I want to know where my taxpayer dollars are going? My wife didn't even work in Idaho for the last 3 years as she is a travel nurse, and yet she paid over $20,000 into Idaho state taxes? Ridiculous what is going on.
The contracts that H&K has by Lincoln road and 45th is an absolute and complete disaster. The original Lincoln project took years and was a disaster and went way over budget. It takes them forever to do anything. They should also be going behind and laying sidewalks after their work which Rockell home should be paying for with all of those cheaply built tract homes that they are building.$450,000 for a $200,000 home. Idaho Falls should be developing areas and making them nice especially the sidewalks in the road with all the taxes and income that's coming in. However companies like these are pocketing them without doing accurate and legitimate work. Like I said earlier way too many incompetent people. Plain and simple.

Were quick to get back to me and probably too quick to deliver, but I got what I needed in a timely matter.

Gentleman that delivered my rock noticed some went on the neighbors lawn and he grabbed a shovel and helped me scoop it all up! Staff was friendly in the office and they even got my delivery to me a little early thanks guys!

HK worked with me through the demo and prep of my driveway and did an excellent job on the install. Quality was a top priority and they made sure that the prep was perfect before they laid the asphalt. Their whole crew had excellent attitudes and were great to work with. I would highly recommend them.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst construction company I have ever seen! They cause long construction delays, have employees standing around on the side of the road, equipment everywhere, messes all over the road, and disrespectful employees. I’ve ran into them in Swan Valley and Rexburg, this company is horrible and needs to improve their ability to not delay traffic.

We had our water line replaced about 18 months ago, they did a great job. Last week we developed a problem and needed some help, they sent Rob Lees over to take a look. He evaluated the problem, took care of it and we were only out of water for about 24 hours. Rob is a great guy and very dedicated to his job and company. Thanks Rob

I cannot say enough great things about this company! This isn't the first time I have had amazing service from HK, but today I had a rock delivery and I figured that I really should give a review... Larry and Matt had amazing customer service when I talked to them about products. Jennifer at the rock yard called me to let me know that the truck was loading so I was ready when Carsten showed up with the delivery. Carsten was able to get the rock right where I needed it! Thanks HK!

I think these guys have got the low review rating because of the chip seal that was bad on Hwy 20 and they made good on all the rock chips, and replaced windshields in peoples cars.well at least in my husbands truck and it was no hassle. I have seen the work they do and they are great well leveled pavers.

I lease my trucks on with them when they are needing extra trucks and they're a great company to work for and have awesome employees in the office and on the job that makes all of the difference to work with.

Largest utilities and asphalt contractor in the area.... huge legitimate company, from big jobs like installing all the new piping and roadways in new subdivisions, to underground service repairs for the home. Mother company is based out of Ireland and is one of the largest in the world. Legitimate, professional, and quality work.

I was putting in a riding arena. The manager of HK said he would come out that night or early the next morning to inspect the site. We needed to see if their truck would fit and how many trips it would take. Never heard from them again. There was no one to really show me the sand, a couple of employees pointed me in the direction of their sand . I went with the people I have delt with before. Wolverine. They got the job done, it took 4 trips with their trucks, HK's manager told me ( without inspecting the site) it would take 11 trips. I won't do any fufure buisness with HK, very unprofessional.
