Hinkle Roofing did an amazing and expedient job of getting to my parents' house and fixing their missing shingles and chimney problems. Dustin was so nice and honest about what needed to be done, and the repair crew was professional and got the situation taken care of beautifully.

Daniel came to check my 45 year old chimney pan & do a free quote if I needed a new one. I didn't need to replace it! Hurrah!
He inspected the rest of the roof, found a nail pop, & caulked it at no charge.

I highly recommend Hinkle. I had 5 different companies come out to inspect and quote prices for a roof replacement. Dustin Allen from Hinkle seemed by far the most knowledgeable. He came out to inspect my roof and some damage to my fascia, provided a detailed proposal and was able to easily answer all my questions and concerns. The price was fair and competitive. The crew that installed the roof was just as impressive. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Every person I encountered was courteous and professional. Ismael Garcia did an impressive job keeping everything running smoothly and in keeping me well-informed of the progress. I am very happy with my roof and would not hesitate to use Hinkle again in the future.

I called Hinkle Roofing to locate a leak in my roof and get a quote for repair which I expected might take multiple visits and not be a quick fix. Daniel came to look at my roof and ended up fixing it while he was there at his first visit. I will be calling Hinkle again if I have issues in the future.

Called Hinkle to come inspect our roof and siding after having a few strong storms come through the area this year. Daniel called and scheduled a day to meet, he was about 10 minutes early which was perfect. He completed the inspection, said the siding looked fine, the metal roof had some insulation popping out in some areas and he took the time to put those back in place. I was very pleased with the service and will definitely use them in the future for any repairs needed.

Chris and his team were great. Had a leak and needed a cricket (had no idea what it was until talking to them) installed. They did great, tackled the project while I was at work and returned to a fixed, clean roof. Definitely recommend this crew.

We had very strong winds and lots of rain earlier this week. During the storm, water began leaking in though one of my light fixtures. Later that night, the leaking stopped despite the fact that the rain was still coming down. Not knowing what the issue was, I had a friend recommend Scott Williams with Hinkle Roofing as someone to have come take a look. Scott worked me into his schedule and identified the possible issue as a nail that was not sealed around the boot of one of my vents. He applied silicone to the area free of charge. I would definitely recommend calling Hinkle Roofing if you have roofing issues!

Hinkle replaced our old roof with a new one. The original roof had 3 layers, so it needed to be completely removed before the new one was installed. We have 2 dogs and we were concerned about loose nails and debris laying in the yards for the dog's walking in the yard. Hinkle did a great job and we didn't find any loose nails after the installation. I highly recommend Hinkle roofing.

We are buying a new house in Bham. As it worked out we were in a mad scramble to get all inspections done before the contract deadline. Literally called Hinkle on Thursday afternoon in dire need of a roofing inspection for estimation of cost of certain repairs. Dustin jumped right on it even though we were not a current customer (we don't live in Bham). By noon today (Friday) we had our estimate and are moving forward. Hinkle WILL be doing the repairs for us when scheduled. That they would move that fast for a person who was not a customer and for simple repairs (vs a full roof replacement) was way and beyond the call of duty. People who are successful at the big things are first successful at the little things. Hinkle has it right. Give them a call.

A bunch of unethical, unprofessional business owners. You all garnished the wages of a person who DID NOT/DOES NOT AND HAS NOT EVER owed you any money. His name was on the deed of a house he inherited after his parents passed away. The person who lives in the house(sibling) signed a contract for repairs. HE didn’t pay so you come after the people listed on the deed NOT the person who signed the contract. You should be ashamed but I’m sure you’re not. He has not lived there in over 25 years! Again, you should be ashamed! I hope you lose 100 times more than what you robbed from my family.

Great company who is genuine and honest. I highly recommend this company. They have a desire to treat you right and be fair to the consumer and seller.

In 2020, We had our initial visit from Hinkle representative, Jase, concerning a total roof replacement. Within a couple of days, Jase offered a very detailed estimate in the mail. He did not engage in exaggerated promises or any pressure buying. We found the pricing fair and competitive with other estimates we had received from two other companies. Jase provided quick responses to any of our questions and concerns regarding the pending roof work.

After we put the project on hold for a while, we recontacted Hinkle, and on Thursday, September 7, 2023, I received a telephone call from Mr. Billy Lewis, a member of management from Hinkle Roofing. During that call, Mr. Lewis asked me if it would be okay to begin our total roof replacement project the following day. I agreed with the date and time to begin our roof replacement. During the conversation, Mr. Lewis patiently described to me the way the entire project would go.

The following morning, the site manager, Mrs. Damaris, arrived with all the equipment and materials needed for the job. My first impression of Mrs. Damaris was that she was very polite and professional, which she remained throughout the project. I also found Mrs. Damaris’s entire team to be polite and professional. The project was completed within four days - thankfully there was no rain. During their time on-site, our lawn care company came to mow the yard. Mrs. Damaris and her crew made extra efforts to not interfere with the lawn team.

On the first day of the project, later in the day, Mr. Lewis arrived on-site. He was as calm and patient in-person, as he was over the phone the night before. Mr. Lewis, continued to provide me with information about the project as well as his company’s history. This was my second complete roof replacement from the company. For our first total roof replacement, I was not available to see the installation. This time I wanted to be on-site to see how the roof would be replaced. I was truly impressed to see the workmanship and constant photographing of every phase of the project by Mrs. Damaris. Mrs. Damaris was continually on-site or able to be reached to give detailed updates about the project and process. Additionally, all the members of her staff seemed to know their roles exactly, and provided very cordial interactions with me and my family.

Me and my family are extremely impressed and satisfied with the attention-to-detail and consideration that was put into the job. The team color-matched the exhaust turbines and flashing. They painted each gas vent to match the other trims and shingles. And as a bonus, in what we believe was an upgrade, they added metal stripping around the entire width of the shingle and roof edges. This made for a very clean and professional presentation. Since the roof’s work completion, we have had friends and neighbors remark at its high quality. We have even had two separate passers-by stop and inquire about our new roof.

We would like to again say “thanks” to Hinkle Roofing members, Jase, Billy, and Damaris, for their willingness to accommodate us with our total roof replacement. We can not express enough appreciation of their quality craftsmanship, friendliness, and awesome professional customer service. Should we need another roof replacement, we will not hesitate to choose, or recommend to others, Hinkle Roofing!

The Hinkle Roofing team did a wonderful job on my roof replacement here in August of 2023, they arrived each morning as scheduled, worked with extreme intent all day long and completed the job on time. The resulting roof is the best I have ever seen, and certainly the best this house has ever had on it. The clean-up was also outstanding, from picking up the tear off, to running the magnetic nail pick-up bar over the entire work area to assure all nails which hit the ground were picked up. The care to assure my leaking dormers were correctly sealed is much appreciated as this has been an issue on both of the two previous roofs, I have checked after each of our recent strong rain storms and there is not a single drop coming in around the dormers or anywhere else now. Just a very impressive and great looking roof with high quality GAF shingles and water shield. All-in-all, I am a very happy customer and have all ready recommended this team to all my friends, family and work associates. I will also state this is an unsolicited review due to how satisfied I am with the workmanship and materials for the price I was quoted. Bob and his team also replaced the roof across the street from mine a year ago, and it also still looks great. Just a great job!

Everyone I spoke with and encountered was friendly and professional. My roof is very old but they fixed my leak and said I have a little more time until full replacement is needed. The price they quoted was very reasonable. Their honesty and no pressure to make a sale will have me coming back to them for all my future roofing needs.

I contacted Hinkle roofing today looking for clay tiles to repair a roof leak for a 1930 historical house The representative from Hinkle (Jeff) was very professional and friendly. He quickly researched to determine the clay tiles that I needed and actually located enough tiles in their yard to be used to repair my roof. I’m hoping that this will work but if not, I’ll reach out to Hinkle Roofing for a new roof. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service.

I could not be more pleased with my finished roof! Hinkle treated my landscaping with care and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. Lots of attention to details!!! The new roof has gotten compliments from neighbors and family. Plus, management was onsite much of the time to make sure everything went smoothly.

Hinkle Roofing replaced our roof and did a wonderful job. From the initial estimate through the end of the job, everyone involved was a total professional. They all worked as an incredibly efficient team and had our roof on and yard cleaned up so quickly, it was mind-blowing. This roof has seven skylights and high pitches, and Hinkle Roofing handled it all brilliantly! We appreciate them so much and will certainly be repeat customers!

Came out last year and did a roof repair for me. It involved installation of new gutter and gutter guard. Recently noticed that new gutter didn't have the gutter guard installed. Contacted and within 3 days, gutter guard was installed. Quick response and resolution.

Used them to replace 2 worn vent stack boots and add about 15 feet of gutter to the front of my house. Hinkle Roofing handled both items without issue and did professional work. Overall happy and would use them again for any of my roofing needs.

Jase was able to come out to our home on short notice to give us a very fair estimate and had a crew repairing damages in what seemed like no time!

This experience was quite odd and disturbing. Earlier in the fall of 2022, I wanted an estimate for roof repairs. I called them every day for several weeks just to set up a date to inspect the roof. When they came out they were five hours late, which meant they came while someone else was here. I was home, but requested "no contact" and asked them to call me during their visit. The roof inspector told me through the door that he didn't have my home phone number. They got on my roof for a while and just left. I called them for several weeks afterwards about them emailing me my estimate. After a certain point I gave up. It is almost January 2023 and I still don't have an estimate. I was directed to call this person over and over again who never answered, returned calls after I left messages, or responded to my emails. If you don't think a job is profitable for your company, say that. I can only imagine how horrible my experience would have been if they had started work and/or taken my money. I wish Hinkle roofing's potential customers the best of luck.

Great company! They did a roof repair on my aunt’s house. Immediately addressed the issue and we have not had a problem since.

I’ve held off putting in a review hoping Hinkle would remedy the many issues they left but after 3 years, we are still struggling with a subpar roofing job and many revisits to fix issues they created. They damaged our gutters, created leaks that didn’t exist before their entire re-roofing, and dislodged most of our previous gutter guards. We have had to call them back 6 times and are still not in the same situation from a roofing and gutter standpoint as we were before. The gutter guards continue to fall off even though they never did before Hinkle.
The leaks they left have damaged our interior hardwood floors. When asked for remediation, all they did was apply kilz to the mold created on our internal roof. Really disappointed for a local company.

I needed a few shingles replaced due to a storm. I live in a very nice neighborhood homes range 300k and up. Came home to see black shingles on my gray roof. I paid services I thought would at least somewhat match. Every time I come home I see my patch work roof. Horrible

RETRACTION

I apologize for my bad review. After speaking with Hinkle roofing I was looking at new wind damage which in fact blew off additional shingles. Hinkle will also come out and repair this damage also.

Subsequent to my original review I received a call from Jace. He was very apologetic and solution focused. His action spoke volumes especially after the initial mishap (detailed below). It was apparent that he went out of his way to provide excellent customer service and even offered to personally assist me. I haven’t used the roofing repair service yet, but I’m looking forward to potentially working with him and this company. Thank you for your excellent customer service Jace!

Tried to use this business, but was unsuccessful. After learning that I was seeking an roof repair estimate on behalf of my parents, the receptionist immediately refused to do any business with me and demanded that my elderly parents call. After much back and forth I was immediately turned off by her attitude and decided not to do any further business.Terrible customer service.

Jase and team were amazing to work with. Thorough, timely and professional. When needing a roofer quickly with a quick completion time, I couldn’t recommend Hinkle Roofing more.

I received an estimate from another gutter installation company that was two times higher than Hinkle Roofing. My request for an estimate was handled quickly by Jase. I was more than pleased with the estimate I was given in writing. Jase quickly responded to all of my emails & he answered my questions. Installers where professional & friendly. They worked quietly and quickly. Done in a few hours. I’m more than pleased with my new 6” gutters, I will absolutely contact Hinkle Roofing & Jase if needed in the future, also refer them to friends & family.
