High Pitch Roofing & Construction

Facts of my experience with High Pitch Roofing (Devontae and Matt): I started working with them in September of 2023. It is now January of 2025 and my roof is still has not been fixed.
Devontae repeatedly promised to come tarp my roof prior to construction to protect the damaged areas. My roof remains untarped.
I have a conversation log full of Devontae's promises, assurances, and guarantees that work would be completed. The work was not even started.
When asked about the delays, Devontae told me he was too busy chasing the storms on the East Coast and couldn't "find guys" to do the work.
After waiting for almost a year for this to get done, I asked Devontae to refund the amount paid (over $10,000) as I no longer believed the work would be done. It's been over 3 months and I am still unable to hire a new contractor as Matt and Devontae have yet to return the funds.

I do not recommend this company.

Talk about a waste of money!! They were quick to take my insurance check but after that they made excuse after excuse about not showing up. Stated they ordered shingles that never arrived, stopped returning my calls. To date, my roof still hasn't been done and it doesn't look like it will be by them at all. They were 1000% unprofessional. This company is more a scam than anything else. Please do your research and find an honest and legitimate roofing company. HONESTLY, THIS COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 ...

Be cautious when doing business with Devontae McNeal, a co-owner of this company. He left me out of $5,156.49 dollars, without fulfilling his side of our business agreement. After 3 years of going back & forth with him pertaining to refunding me my money. Steer clear of any business with him.
