Great group of guys. Very professional and friendly. Worked efficiently. Definitely would recommend. The only thing I would say that I wish was better was how my lawn looked when it was all done. The grass that needed to get ripped up so that the charger could run underground now needs landscapers to come in to fix.

Quinn and team were undaunted by working within a complex remodel project. They were able to stay at the quoted price and estimated time frame and demonstrated courtesy and professional behavior throughout.

I had somewhat challenging EV charger installation needs; a 7-unit condo with a detached 7-spot garage. Rob and the team from High Caliber were able to dig a trench from the building to the garage, under sidewalk, and run conduit to from everybody’s individual electric meter to their individual parking spots, all in 2 days, and the end result looks clean and professional.

The technicians who installed my EV charging station were great! Friendly & very professional, they did an outstanding job. They were required to install a long line of conduit along the basement rafters, install the new 60 amp circuit breaker, and mount the charging station on one of the Interior garage walls. Finished job looks great. And, they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. In short, this was a top-notch team that did a top-notch job.

I recently had High Caliber Electric complete several projects at my home in Antioch, Illinois, including the installation of a Tesla charger, a new fan-light combination in one of our bathrooms, and an outdoor outlet. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure doing business with them.

Rob came out for the initial proposal and took the time to walk me through the entire process. He provided a clear, upfront price, and once I gave the go-ahead, he followed up promptly. That same day, Rob called to schedule the work, which was set for about a week and a half later between 8 and 9 AM.

At exactly 8 AM on the scheduled day, Quinn, the lead electrician, arrived with his assistant. They were consistently courteous, ensuring they kept things clean and tidy every time they entered or exited my home. Once the work was completed, they went over everything with me to make sure I was satisfied.

It’s rare to find a company that delivers such professionalism, attention to detail, and great customer service. Great company and employees. Had High Calber install an in home EV charger. My electrical panel is on the far east wall in basement, the charger on the other side of the house in my garage. They got to my house about 10:15 AM and were done be 2:00PM. They worked together as a team and left my house as clean as it was before they arrived. They did not sell me the charger, but they stuck around, helped me with the App setup and made sure my car was charging as expected. They will be my first call for any electrical needs in the future.

Absolutely amazing work!!!!! The wiring process for the house took longer than expected. Rob personally came out to my house first thing in the morning to make sure the charger was properly installed. The new electrical panel looks great and everything works and is up to code. If you’re looking for quality work at a reasonable price choose High Caliber! ☺️☺️☺️

Got the recommendation from a facebook post. Rob and Charlie were polite, honest and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I felt no pressure and had all my concerns addressed and fixed. Definitely plan to use them again in the future!

After moving into our first house we found appliances were tripping breakers among other electrical issues and the house was mostly all old ungrounded cloth wire. For general safety and to fix these issues at the root cause we bit the bullet and contacted High Caliber Electric to rewire our house.

This is not an easy job and of course there were plenty of hidden surprises with the previous electrical job that wasn’t able to be anticipated prior to digging in. The team at High Caliber Electric diligently worked through these challenges without compromising the quality of work, taking shortcuts, and staying within the quoted cost, all the while keeping us informed along the way of changes or deviations to the plan. Most times their experienced team of electricians actually made any problematic situations a positive improvement to our original electrical plan, whether it was lighting, switch locations, what was on dedicated circuits or more.

Dan, Richard, Michael and the crew on duty were very polite and conscientious of being in someones living space. Customer service was absolutely spectacular which made a generally stressful home improvement situation way easier to deal with. I can’t stress how great everyone on the team was with all our questions, add ons, and changes we made along the way. The crew was very clean while working to prevent excess dust/debris in our living spaces and made no excess holes or cuts in the walls which was pretty amazing.

We now have been living in our house post rewire for over 4 months now and are so incredibly happy with the results. If you have any electrical needs and want professional and quality work done I would highly recommend contacting Robert and his crew to take care of you.

Michael and his associate were hired to replace a couple of broken light switches. Even though this was a small job, Michael and associate approached the job professionally and with attention to detail. They were fast, friendly and courteous. They even noticed a problem with an adjacent outlet. They fixed it at “no charge” even though it took them an extra 20 minutes. I will definitely contact Michael again for future electrical projects.

I was initially not please with the Job that was done as I recently had renovated my garage with new flooring , cabinets and such and wanted to add a electric heater for the space. Rob and Michael acted quickly to remedy the situation and my complete satisfaction. I would recommend them when asked.

Did a great job installing a Tesla wall charger and it works great! They were very professional and thorough with their work! Couldn’t be happier!!

Amazing service from High Caliber team. Had them install a 50 amp generator hookup and interlock kit into the home. They called and mentioned they had some staffing shortages and asked if it was possible to come the next day. Told them unfortunately I took the day off for the work, and Rob started to make arrangements for the work to be done. They managed to come later in the day but he had 4 guys show up to knock it out and get it done for me. Thank you Rob, Charles, and team for this. It’s beyond appreciated.

I had the guys at High Caliber move/add some inconveniently placed electric outlets to much more functional locations for my needs and they did a great job! AVOID THIS COMPANY! Rob did not keep his promises, nor comply with his contract, especially to 'ensure safety and functionality' with an electric upgrade to the home.

This company's shoddy workmanship resulted in a FAILED INSPECTION with a SIX VIOLATIONS. Several of the violations were “Serious Safety Concerns” per the inspector. Fixing their work and making the home compliant will cost thousands of dollars.

The exterior meter main box cover was not replaced, it was found on the ground – the exposed wiring was an electrocution risk.

In addition to the failed inspection, violations, and electrocution risk, there were other items of concern:
- The electrician working on adding wiring to the panel stated a major appliance should be on it's own breaker and was not. He said that this was wrong and needed to be fixed. He said he COULD fix it, but we should have someone come and fix it. He further stated they had to get going to another job. This was part of the work they were hired to do.
- There were multiple instances where the workers damaged and broke the homeowner's property.
- Debris left in the home, work areas not cleaned up.

Numerous times Rob commented how unsafe certain things were in the home and that they would fix it and make it safe. When they left early and in a rush and some things were not addressed, he responded that the items of concern were 'not in the scope of the work,' but they could come back for additional money.

Per the inspector, these were basic things that, as licensed electricians, they were required to update and address. Given how badly things went, I question if they are actually even properly trained electricians. They were in such a rush to get to the next job that they made a lot of mistakes and did very poor quality work.

Do NOT use this company.
