I had a great experience working with Hester Roofing. I coordinated directly with Will Hester, who was responsive and easy to work with. I sent him photos and the scope of work, and he quickly provided a fair quote—out of the three quotes I received, his was the best.

I was on a tight timeline to get repairs done before closing on our home, and Will made it happen. He communicated clearly throughout the process and sent James to do the repair work. James was professional, efficient, and thorough. He didn’t rush the job and made sure everything was done right. His workmanship looks great—he matched the roofing materials perfectly with no visible discoloration.

So needed a new roof per insurance company. Called 3 companies one was a no show. The second spent 5 minutes with me and said he would email me the quote never got
Team Hester came buy got up on roof to inspect then sat down with us for about 45 minutes. Will explained my options and walked thru his process for roof replacement . Hester’s roof provides great service and one key thing I feel that is important is good communication that a lot of companies fail to provide. So highly recommend Hester’s Roofing.
But on the final note these people that call on phone or knock on door trying to sell you a roof. Do not go with them if repair service is needed down the road they may not be around or the phone number they provide may say no longer in service. Stay local and read reviews

Will and his team did a flawless job replacing a small metal roof on I home I just purchased. I wasn't even there but Will kept me in the loop with pictures and frequent communication. Very pleased.

Insurance was requiring that we needed a new roof, so I got 3 quotes. After coordinating with several neighbors who also all needed new roofing (as our homes were all built around the same time), we all really dug in to compare quotes and info, and most of us went with Hester’s. Will was awesome: great, honest, easy and quick communication. The job was knocked out fast, everything was covered surrounding the home so our plants, bushes and lawn all stayed well-protected, and overall we were happy. The price was right, the work was professional, and communication was excellent. My other neighbor went with another company, and despite him having a smaller roof, that company took 3 times as long, and they were sloppy and messy. I’m feeling like we made the right choice with Hester’s! After our jobs were done, I noticed at least two other houses down the street with Hester’s signs within a few days, and yet another neighbor asked me if I would recommend them, which I did.

Will Hester and his team were extremely professional from start to finish. The entire process, from the initial quote to the final roof installation, was seamless. They completed the installation in just one day, with either Will or his foreman on-site to oversee the work.

Their attention to detail was outstanding. The team used the best materials, offered very competitive pricing, and ensured everything was done to the highest standard. They thoroughly cleaned up after the job and conducted a final walkthrough to make sure everything was perfect. Any minor issues were addressed immediately.

Recently bought a home in St. Augustine and the inspector missed damage on the roof that insurance discovered and was voiding our policy for. I called around and William answered his cell phone while on another job, gave me a quote over the phone from sending him a picture of the damage and got the job done all in 48 hours so we could maintain our policy. He went above and beyond to make sure the repairs weren’t just good but looked good also! He even patched a hole in our fireplace cap while he was up there!

He does amazing work, stays true to his quote and is very efficient. He’s who I’ll be using for all my roofing needs going forward and recommend the same for you!

I had a few others look at my roof and I was very wary. Other companies wanted me to sign a contract (read the fine print) that day, money in advance, and hard sell bullying.
Hester’s was recommended by a couple I trust who are both in the real estate and construction business, so I called.
Will Hester came to my home.
No contract, no pressure, relaxed meeting.
Will Hester explained my options and how they would proceed, clearly and no “word games”. I received a written estimate.
When I asked about payment his answer was, “when the work is done”. There was a short, clearly written and fair “Notice of Commencement” just prior to work.
I knew I could trust him, and he had the money to get supplies and run his business.
He kept his word throughout the process.
And was very patient with my fears from past experiences…. very patient lol.
He or his dad, Jim were here the entire day. Yes, one day, 7:30am all arrived-the old roof was removed, roof was loaded (materials), the equipment arrived, ten roofers, crew chief, and Will.
He chose a dry day, and all went well.
He is so organized! The job was checked every step and quality was controlled:
The crew was great, worked hard.
Code here is “six nails a shingle”, and that was done.

This month Hester's Roofing replaced my entire roof - from the very beginning, after receiving a few other Estimates, accepting Will's Quote and setting the install date - Will Hester is a knowledgeable, professional, personable and honest person - and that is how it seems he runs his business. From start to finish a professional experience having our seamless metal roof and gutters installed. Will Hester followed through and stayed on top of the project. Jose and crew were fantastic- cleanest construction crew ever. All of the employees that were onsite were knowledgeable, polite and professional. Would highly recommend this company.

Not only getting a quote and scheduling the work to be done was super easy. They beat the other estimates by half and then discovered not as much work was needed and knocked off some more from the original price. Completely honest, will use them again and recommended them .

Hester's replaced a four year old roof that had been put on after Hurricane Matthew and pulled up again in Hurricane Ian. That roof held during the following hurricanes and they stand by their work. Minor wind damage pulled up caps and they came to restore those as well. Great company. Reliable work.

At 1st when I posted this review I was taken by the kindness of the staff but when my roof started leaking I contacted the contractor he shows up with caulking. This did not fix the leaks in fact it made it worse. Roof still leaking that gave me nothing but excuses, delayed response time and showed up with more caulking. The decking is not secured to the trusses, miss nails through out the roof, holes are present along the boots of the chimney, vents, skylight allowing water inside attic space cannot say enough about this period their fix was to put a 2 by 4 and raise the skylight which they did not finish the interior it looks horrible! Most of all the roof still leaks! I would not recommend this company to anyone so disappointed. Would love to show the pics but cannot post them sorry some reason! Read your response, had you to my home several times and you failed to correct the issues, never told you I had another company, stated I had inspectors of which I provided you pictures and still no reply. The roof leaks as stayed and here now you are lying and making more excuses, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

We highly recommend Hester’s Roofing Company. The owners Jim and Will Hester (father and son) came in person quickly to supply a thorough bid. After receiving 3 bids we picked this family company (which includes office manager wonderful Kelly Hester) and are so pleased with our new roof and skylights! The hardworking crew that installed our roof, including replacing rotten wood and building a new chimney (under close supervision by the Hester’s and with an incredible carpenter and team leader Jesus who inspired everyone) were very professional and took care not to damage our landscaping. And Jim and Will personally followed up to install some state of the art solar blinds that came in after everything else was completed. A top notch company!
