Hester Roofing installed a new roof on our home in early November. Justin Gray and his crew did an outstanding job! These guys are very professional. This is our third roof and I believe it’s the best one….

I had a great experience with this roofing company. They did an amazing job on my roof and did wonderful on the modifications I wanted. They were punctual and cleaned up the yard after they completed the roof. Mr. Wade was knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect shingle for my home. I am very pleased with my new roof. Sal Ruffino there sales Representative worked with me for weeks to get the best roof for the best price.The other companies ( 4 bids total ) were way higher or did not included everything in the bid process to be lower . Sal stayed on the job , or had a repensitive there from Heaster Roofing on site until job was completed.I am glad to have a local business here to support that produces a quality job.
I will use them in future projects and would and have recommended them to family and friends in need of replacement.

Every experience I’ve had with Hester Roofing was been beyond any expectation I could have had. With my own roof replacement they were courteous, prompt and professional, not to mention that the installed roof is top notch.

Had some roof damage from a storm and gave Hester roofing a call. David came by and looked around and got photos for me so I could send to insurance without needing get on the roof myself, explained what he saw and gave me an estimate. Install was painless and done in a day, with an additional rotating vent installed no cost. He and his crew went above and beyond in cleaning up and timeliness of job, highly recommend.

HR has done approximately 13 different roofs of ours over the last 7-10 years. And they’ve done numerous smaller patch/fix jobs. When I get a second quote from another company they’ve always come back cheaper. But cheaper in price doesn’t mean the quality is worse. They are great, honest people. One of the roofs they did was a small metal roof on a shotgun style house. They gave us an acceptable quote. By the time the materials were delivered they realized they had not converted something from the measurements of the roof correctly. So the quote should have been more expensive. But they were willing to eat the material price difference because they were the one’s who made the mistake. That’s how honest they are. We still asked them to charge us the correct amount, though. They’re honesty in everything is why we decided to pay them the correct amount anyway. That’s the type of business you’re dealing with when you deal with Hester Roofing

We are so excited about our new Sunroom that Hester Roofing built. They took our old Screened Patio and transformed it into a beautiful Sunroom. Hester Roofing took out a support column which enabled us to double our space. They were able to make the new roof fit in with the existing one so that it doesn’t look like an addition. David and Chris were great to work with and completed the job on budget, plus the craftsmanship really shows.

My roof was replaced by Hester Roofing. I received a very competitive quote out of five quotes. They are insured and masters of their trade. They stripped and replaced my shingles. The mess was enormous but they cleaned up in record time while hauling away all of the debris. If you did not know, it was impossible to tell they had even been there. However, the 50-year warranty new roof looked beautiful. The job was started and finished within six-hours of my 1400 square-foot home. The quote stood firm with no surprise costs. When David puts on a roof you know it’s done well and at a good price! He is one of the most honest people I know. I told him to go put a new roof on one of my rentals, he went there, checked it and told me I didn’t need one, and that it would last another 5 years. Hester Roofing is the most professional and efficient roofing company in the area!! The quick process, knowledgeable agents and down home care they take with your home and family is just not found these days! Never pushy always very nice and accommodating! They replaced my whole roof in 9 hours with architectural 50 year shingles. The roofers are safety oriented, professionals and has my roof bare and all old roofing discarded in 45 minutes once they set up. They completely tarp around your whole home and have a machine that slowly traverses you home for the roofers to deposit shingles and tack inside. They have 3 guys with magnets constantly getting up the few racks that find their way off the roof onto the tarps which extend our from the home like 30 feet! I still haven't found one tack around my home. They check the plywood for weak areas and replace any they find! It completely amazed me and they actually paint the new vent covers to match and the spinning vents are purchased to match the color you choose so they're almost invisible. They even painted the weather head that electricity comes into my home and hooks to the meter pan to match. I chose the wide drip edge because it makes my roof POP! MY HOUSE WENT THROUGH THE LAST HURRICANE UNFAZED! NOT ONE TAB WAS LOST WHILE THE HURRICANES WINDS WERE SO STRONG IT TORE THE STEEL PIPES IN MY CHILDREN'S TRAMPOLINE IN HALF AND NOT AT CONNECTION POINTS , THEIR SWINGSET SUFFERED THE SAME BUT MY ROOF STOOD STRONG!!! THEIR PRICING IS FAIR AND THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. THOUGH, I HAVE YET TO HAVE EVEN A TINY LEAK YET!! I'M DREW PEARSON AND LIVE IN PONCHATOULA LOUISIANA AND WERE LIKE 25 MILES ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE DEVISTATING HURRICANE AND MY ROOF STOOD UP AGAINT CAT 4 WINDS . Hester Roofing was amazing! They completed our roof in one day. Someone was there to make sure everything went smoothly. They covered my plants and pond to make sure debris didn’t fall on them. Call Hester Roofing for your roofing needs.

This company is amazing! My mom's roof was damaged from Hurricane Ida and she need a total replacement as her roof was 17 years old. Chris Wade is the salesman and he was so incredibly kind and answered all of our questions in a way we could understand. He never tried to upsell us anything either that my mom did not need as another company we got an estimate from tried to do.

On the day of installation, all of the shingles came from a damaged lot and Chris told us that he would not be using them and had a new set of shingles delivered. When he pulled one shingle out to show us what he was talking about, the shingle was incredibly warped. They could have used those damaged shingles (which were warped in production he told us) and we would have been none the wiser until a storm came, then we would have found out. This company is honest.

The roofing crew did an amazing job. They got the roof demoed and the new shingles on in one day. About 10 guys showed up and they worked their butts off! But the most important thing is that the roof was professionally done.

If you need a new roof call Hester because they are honest, the price for her roof was really reasonable and the crew they use is professional and do really good quality work.

Worst customer service ever. Though the lady that answered the phone was nice, I had to call 2 times, still not getting a call back from a man by the name of Jason. I am still waiting on this call just to get an estimate on my roof being replaced or fixed. If this is how they work, I don't want to do business with them.
I had heard that they did great work, I decided to call them first. Maybe they felt my job wasn't large enough to worry about? Whatever the reason it has been 2 weeks, no phone call from, the nice lady that answers the phone, or the man Jason she said, was to be calling me. She also said, it wasn't like him not to call someone back to set up an appointment for an estimate. I will be calling someone else ASAP. Thank you, Hester Roofing in Hammond LA.

I heard about Hester Roofing through positive referrals from neighbors when asking around for a reputable roofer following Hurricane Ida. When I reached out to Hester Roofing they were very quick to respond to my inquiry and to send out Justin who was incredibly professional and prompt when he arrived to climb up on the roof to inspect the level of damage and take measurements. Justin was also amazingly fast to get a quote back to me. We did some shopping around and were quick to find Hester Roofing was very well priced and were offering what is considered to be a superior product.

When we were ready to sign an agreement Justin was again incredibly professional and quick to setup an appointment to come out with the contract at which time he walked my wife through the materials used and what we could expect on the day they came out to install our new roof. These guys on their crew go above and beyond, they put down tarps surrounding the entire perimeter of the home so they don't leave any stray debris or nails behind in gardens or flower pots.

We did run into some weather problems where it rained heavily and daily for a few weeks but Justin continued trying to get us on schedule at every opportunity and kept us informed along the way. On the day they arrived they took great care to disturb as little as possible around the house and were incredibly non-intrusive. Justin was on site for much of the work to inspect each stage and whenever we came outside he would check on us and update us on progress. The crew themselves were amazing to watch, they are truly skilled at what they do.

In the end the process took maybe half a day from start to finish. Our new roof looks absolutely beautiful. I was blown away by the level of service and professionalism provided by the company. I could not have asked for a better representative to work with than Justin who was amazing. I've already referred Hester Roofing to others and will continue to do so. If I ever need a new roof or roof repair again I will call Hester Roofing, this is definitely a company which lives up to its reputation!

The roof is beautiful. My issue is with the salesman and office. The office can't help with any issues and refers you to your salesman. My salesman came to show me shingle samples at dusk, which made it difficult to see how it would look next to my bricks. Picked top three color choices from a brochure. Salesman never told me my installation date or the color he chose for me; found it out by going to the shop and happening to see my name on the board. Installation had to be pushed back and then the price changed substantially. Was not made aware of the price increase until I reached out a week before installation (again salesman didn't communicate). Then everything had to be submitted to insurance again. Eager to get my roof done, I paid the difference out of my pocket to be done with this experience and am still waiting in insurance reimbursement, which could've been avoided if salesman would've willingly told me about the increase more than 6 days before installation was scheduled. Pretty sure I wouldn't have known at all until the roof was finished if I hadn't reached out to them. I had to beg and pester for any information I got out of them. Communication is important. Super frustrating experience.

What a great experience! Sal Ruffino and all the staff at Hester Roofing were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Sal made the process so easy and he went above and beyond to insure that every detail in my roof instillation was completed. He also worked with my insurance adjuster to see that I received the full roof replacement monies. I couldn’t ask for more, but wait, there is more! After the installation was complete, Sal presented me with a thank you gift of fancy fudge (yum) and not 1, but 2 gift cards!

Finally, I was able to find the shingles I needed to replace the roof on my shed to match my house. I'd been searching for these shingles since February, Atlas Pinnical Pristeen Shingles, color Copper Canyon. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Side note: I realize people are frustrated about not getting called back...but if you had any idea how insanely busy these people are after storms, you'd give them a break. Many after storm workers are STILL working 17-18 hour days 7 days a week since the hurricanes went through...just food for thought. :)

Absolutely perfect service, I found out half of my roof had rotten wood underneath and tried to call other places but they gave me a 3 week lead time before anyone could even give me an estimate but after calling Hester Roofing he was out the next afternoon and within a week the whole roof was replaced and for a very affordable price. The team was quick and professional it was worth every cent and looks amazing.

Was never able to get anyone to come look at repair. 1st time I called voice mailbox was full. Reached out through Facebook, with no response. 2nd time I called, I was able to leave a message and had call returned. Was told they would schedule an appointment for someone to come out. No one ever called back and no one ever came to look at the job. Would not use!
