Capital City Mechanical & Chimney

Capital City Chimney was professional and kept us briefed on every step of the process. The estimate provided was on point. Safety was top priority of this company. I would choose them again for any chimney work.

Shaun cleaned our dryer duct that vented through to the roof - he did a couple of other repairs to it as well. He took his time and made sure it was done right. He went over and above our expectations. He is very professional, very knowledgeable and super friendly! I highly recommend him for any duct work. We will be using him for our Chimney cleaning next month and for future dryer duct cleanings.

Shaun did an excellent job repairing our leaking chimney and was impressed with his work ethics. He was super easy to work with and knew what he was doing! He also removed an old fireplace insert we hadn’t used in years. He replaced some fire bricks, re-ran a gas line and fixed it to where we now have nice new gas logs and can’t wait to use it this winter. Our first fire in the repaired and cleaned fireplace. Thanks Shaun and Nick. Cheryl and I are quite happy. I kind of like the darker new back panel against the original lighter side panels. The fire shows up better. Love the upgraded cast iron fireplace grate he sold us. Worth it!

They made an appointment for 2 days after my initial call, came in on the appointment date and fixed my problem in an hour. The fixed all my issues, cleaned up behind themselves and issued me an invoice immediately. They were kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We are VERY, VERY PLEASED with the work Shaun and Nick did for us. They replaced the pipe from our Grizzly wood heater to the ceiling, inspected and cleaned everything, and caulked the cap on top of the house. Their price was VERY REASONABLE and they are easy to work with. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. We will have them come back after the first of the year to paint our heater. We DEFINITELY recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Thanks again Shaun and Nick!!

First class service and AMAZING!!! This young man Shaun is the owner and one of the most hardworking, conscientious indivduals I ve ever met. I just moved into a new place and the vent to dryer was clogged. The dryer is on the 2nd floor and vents to the 3rd floor. Lots of twists and turns. Shaun diagnosed the problem. He got to work right away and got into the vent, cleared the vent of lint and ...a birds nest!! ( Im condensing this) Shaun needed many tools and sawed thru the vent to clear it, refashioned it and tested Shaun also helped me with my fireplace...we need an additional part possibly but he wanted to ensure it was working properly. If you need work done on your dryer vent CALL CAPITAL CITY CHIMNEY SWEEP!!!

Signed up with Capital for the maintenance plan and Mr Mike and Shaun were efficient, quick and informative. Fast forward a month later and had an AC issue in the middle of the night, contacted Shaun early that morning and within an hour or so he had made arrangements to be on his way and fix my AC. Super fast, professional and efficient. I highly recommend Mike and Shaun for all your AC mechanical needs!

My wife and I had a baby squirrel that fell down our chimney. We called Capital City Mechanical & Chimney to help remove it. Shaun was extremely pleasant and professional in helping us free the squirrel humanely. He then spent the rest of the day helping fix our chimney after seeing it was out of code once the squirrel was released. My wife and I were both super impressed at the level of quality, care, and time Shaun spent helping us and could not recommend their services enough!

Finding this company was a true blessing! They came out to repair our chimney and did everything in their power to make things as simple as possible. Their knowledge and professionalism is why I called them back to help me when I started having problems with my A/C, but their generosity and kindness is why I will never use anyone else!

Mike was so friendly and made it easy to make my final decision on replacing the HVAC system at my home. He didn't mind answering all of my questions and providing me with the information I needed to make an informed decision.

Once I accepted their proposal, Marc, at the office, was very helpful in guiding me through the super simple financing process.

Mike and Matt did the install of my new HVAC system in a day...they did a great job and left everything clean and neat. When Matt went onto the roof to complete the install of the exhaust pipe, he discovered an issue with the exhaust pipe on my hot water heater and went ahead and repaired that while he was up there!

My capacitor went out Friday after work. Called 1 Hour Heating & Air and they said it would be Sunday morning before I could get an appointment. I called Capital City and 30 minutes later my A/C was blowing cold air. Fantastic customer service and decent pricing for super fast service on a Friday night.

Paid $ 300.00 to have chimney cleaned. We have a Buck insert wood burner in the fire place. It was warm at this time. When it turned cold and we use it, smoke came into the house. Called them and they said we needed a gasket between the insert and fireplace. They didn't even come out to see if that was the problem. If they knew we needed a new gasket seal they should have mentioned it at that time. Said they would order one and that's been over a month ago. Never heard from them again. They also water sealed the outside fireplace for $ 250.00. Guess what; we still have water seeping down the front of our fireplace. They also repaired the flashing. Will not use them again. I like to deal with people who are honest and caring.

Came inspected my fireplace and saw that there were quite a few issues. Repaired the issues, cleaned the fireplace and gave me advice. I also asked Mike questions regarding my heating/cooling system. They are subject matter experts in the area of heating and cooling. I'm not sure if they are the cheapest, but they left me with the confidence to know the job was done correctly. I would definitely call them again.

These guys are great!! If I need help he is only a phone call away. Very professional and honest. They did a complete charge out at my house and I am very satisfied.
My wife and I went to see her grandmother on a Sunday. When we got there her Ac had stopped working the day before. It was hot in her house, so I called Mike to see if he could see her on Monday. He said that he was not letting her sleep in that house with no air. He was there within an hour and fixed the problem. We are very glad to have him as a friend and technician. I highly recommend him and his team.

Called with chimney problems and they came out and did a great job sweeping and cleaning it. Very knowledgeable about the issues with this old fireplace. Very fair price. Definitely call them if you have chimney problems.

Mr. Mike is a master air conditioning technician. He is very knowledgeable in this craft and had my unit up and running in under an hour when other technicians gave me the run around for hours. This is a very professional company. They warranty their work and help to educate their customers. They are very affordable but do offer financing to those who need it. They also respond in a timely manner. They are available 24 hours a day and on weekends also. I am very proud to be able to make a recommendation for these guys!
