HB Home Services built an addition on the back of our house. They were fantastic. We added an extra large bedroom, handicap bathroom, laundry area, and sun room.

They helped us every step of the way, from design to final inspection. This could have been stressful but they took care of all the details and made things happen.

The addition is beautiful and were are very pleased. HB was recommended by a work colleague and they have a well deserved reputation for solid work at a fair price. They never tried to up-sell anything and kept the entire project within the budget. We can absolutely recommend HB Home Services. They are an honest company.

My husband and I hired HB to install windows next to our fireplace where we did not have any, along with lower cabinets below the windows. They also built a room for a gym in our basement. After getting quotes from a few other companies, we chose HB for their competitive prices and the positive interaction during our initial consultation with Daron. He really wanted to gain an understanding of what we wanted and had good ideas to help us figure out a final design. Everyone we worked with throughout the process was very nice and helpful. Any minor issues that arose, Matt our project manager, worked to correct.

I worked with this company on a bathroom remodel 2-3 years ago and the remodel was done poorly, things are already falling apart. My bathtub pipes are leaking into my ceiling. Unfortunately they only offer a year warranty for their work to fix it so be careful, it may look nice at first but the work doesn’t last. Can’t wait to see how much this will cost me to fix the crappy piping job they did, the remodel itself was not cheap.

A few months ago, we had a positive experience with planning an addition to expand an empty nest to a multi-generational household. Shout out to Johnny, Matt, Anthony, and Marian for straight talk and integrity.

The design process was detailed, iterative, and thorough while discussing the tradeoffs for needs and wants. As an engineer, all of my questions were answered well and without hesitation. Though we need to pause for two years before moving forward with the addition due to personal circumstances, we are confident and comfortable re-engaging with HB when we are ready.

Lamar at HB Home Services saved the day today with his snowplow! As I was shoveling the driveway and working to get my car moving in the snow, Lamar drove by with the snowplow. HB Homes did two projects for us - built me a small office nook so I could finally move out of the dining room and have a dedicated space to work from home. It's perfect! And then they helped us turn our screened porch into a 3-4 season room and connected it to our dining room. The center piece is a 9 ft folding glass door that opens up the space for larger indoor gatherings. The quality of the work is fantastic! The new spaces look amazing. And you will not find a better worker than Alex - his diligence, skill, demeanor, and results are second to none. Thank you HB!

Miguel was the project manager and Alex was the lead contractor on my home project. We had new support columns installed on our portico and outside our kitchen bay windows. We added midway a reconstruct of our garage door frame work and garage door. Miguel was informative, adaptive to my concerns and was very hands-on making sure the crew had the right materials. His regular visits and our interactions were always positively informative. Alex's craftsmanship was topnotch. He always greeted either my wife or I with great positivity and kept us informed on his tasks for the day. If I had a question, Alex was attentive to explain immediately. During the garage door install by a sub-contractor, a few issues arose, and Miguel was timely in response and Alex upon arrival, worked diligently to minimize delay. We are happy with the project results and this is our second time using HB. I highly recommend HB and team Miguel/Alex. Thank you!

HB Home Services created a beautiful new kitchen, bathroom and back entrance for us- the result is so imaginative, attractive and functional. Management and crew were very sensitive to giving us choice and input along the way. They were so easy to work with, communication was smooth, and we are truly pleased with the results. Miguel, Daron, and the team did a fantastic job with tearing down our wall and opening up the kitchen and living room. They were very communicative and professional - would hire them again!

Very good overall experience. The assessment/measuring process went very smoothly, spearheaded by the chief installer Matt who supervised the project throughout. He remained my primary contact. I encountered an unexpected delay in project approval from a very mercurial condo board, and Matt was very helpful in customizing a series of requests for the condo powers-that-be. HB warehoused the windows for the duration of this process, thankfully. Installation was expeditious and done a day. Matt came by after the install to replace a window sash latch that was damaged during installation (and gave me spares) and to caulk a gap that developed after installation. The portal was useful as a chronological history and invoice repository. Marian was always helpful/available to call and to shepherd me through off-handed questions, and I usually got same-day responses from all.

Overall, highly recommended. My condo neighbors also had very good recommendations on their experiences.

I worked with HB to replace our previous back deck with a larger screened-in porch. I am very pleased with how the project turned out! The project was complicated, but HB coordinated and managed the different parts well. Permitting was challenging and we of course had a couple surprises after beginning construction, but HB was committed and helpful throughout the entire process. HB Services did a great job renovating my dining room into a guest room. We had an open archway framed up for French doors, walled off walkway to the kitchen, installed a ceiling fan and closet. Martese is an OUTSTANDING Project Manager! He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. We knew what was going to happen every day of the process and we could not be happier with the results. He communicated very clearly and frequently about everything and kept a very close eye on the crews doing the work. He treated our home like his own. He provided a truly exceptional level of care and attention to detail. This was our second time using HB. I strongly recommend them for both high-end renovations and more basic work.

HB Home Services has done a major and a not so major but still really important remodel in my house. A number of years ago I had my kitchen completely gutted and remodeled. I still love it as we chose timeless kitchen cabinets etc. That project went so well that I recently updated my laundry room. That may not seem so important except that it is the first room that 95% of the guests to my home have to enter into in order to reach my kitchen or family room. It was important to utilize every bit of space and also to make the room not only pretty but super functional as well. Mallory drew up various room renderings for me to choose from. I then chose my new laundry room cabinets to match the cabinets in my kitchen from their prior remodel and then chose a durable but beautiful floor and quartz countertop to finish it off…all with the guidance of HB’s highly knowledgeable remodeling staff. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of both rooms and wondered why it took me so long to initiate the process. You can trust HB with any of your home remodeling needs!

Once again we used HB for some home repair work -- this time for kitchen cabinet repairs, and once again we were thoroughly pleased with their professionalism from beginning to end. HS Services, LLC, replaced our front door with a new Provia door. The sales guy was very accommodating to our ideas and responsive to our needs regarding the HOA requirements. There was a significant delay in actually getting the door - no fault of HB Services; factory was delayed - but the installation was smooth. In fact, they discovered our threshold had rotted, and they were able to fix it on the spot for a minimal cost. All in all, very happy with their services and would use them again.

I have had a wonderful experience with HB Services. I have had my master bathroom as well as my kitchen redone by this company. They have also replaced my front door as well as my two sliding glass doors. They are a family business that cares about customer service. Thank you HB!

They took our money 4,500$ design fee and decided to call the projects off not even started the work after one whole year of wasting so much time .
No help what so ever when it comes to help with design or selections choices.
We did all the selections and then when they realize they mess up with the measurements & can’t pull off the design they quit and took our money .

I enjoy and appreciate my beautiful renovated kitchen more each day and receive compliments from everyone who sees it. It's been over a year since the completion of my project in December 2020 (kitchen renovation, hard floor refinishing along with deck work). Everything has held up without problem. When I had a minor plumbing follow-up issue this past fall, HB Services responded immediately and fixed it. I would not hesitate to use HB Services again.

Used HB Services for variety of projects in recent months to include a new deck, structure repair, interior painting, electrical and new flooring. Extremely pleased with outcome. All subcontractors were timely and professional. Site coordinator, Sebastian, was informative, timely, responsive and kept us fully informed throughout projects. So pleased, That we now using for additional project, new full house window replacement. Quality of work is excellent and fairly priced. I would highly recommend for any of you home project needs.

We hired HB Services to replace and paint rotted rake board and trim board on the gable, in the attic to clean out old blown and rolled insulation, air gap seal, rescreen gable vents, replace roof fan motor and thermostat, and replace blown in insulation. Also to install aluminum ladder to attic. We found their project manager, Sebastian, very easy to work with and were impressed with his work ethic. He really does care. Sebastian even showed up on a Saturday morning to make sure the work was completed on time and to HB's standard of quality. The work required several contractors along with the company's construction crew which could have been chaotic, but Sebastian constantly kept us informed of who was showing up when, and what was going to be done. He also would call /email/text back in a timely manner if we had any questions. We were very happy with the service received from HB, their project manager, Sebastian, and their contractors. Will hire again if the need arises.

Many reviews of HB Services talk about their quality work and professionalism. I have a different story. Hired HB to build stairs for my hot tub. To be frank, initially it was not a good experience. However, I gave HB A 5-Star rating because they followed up and made it right, without any excuses or questions. I was impressed with their desire to ‘make things right’. They removed the stairs they built and redid them properly. Many contractors do work and leave. HB backs up their work. I would highly recommend HB Services as a ethical and hard working company. We need more like them.

The good: professional and very pleasant workers who cared about their work and did an excellent job. Couldn't ask for more.
The not as good: at least 5 different measuring errors (by the supervisor apparently and no apologies made), tile quantities and light fixture layout, caused a few weeks delay because materials had to be ordered and a few wall fixture placements had to be re-located. I had to make several trips to suppliers 40 minutes away myself to both return and pick-up materials because of those contractor errors. No offer was made by the contractor to do so. Communication was inconsistent and not always timely as far as worker scheduling was concerned. The company has an excellent designed web app to centralize communications, scheduling, and progress; but it has glitches that make it difficult to utilize. I basically stopped using it; partly because it wasn't always updated on a timely basis.
The completed project looks great, but a lot of delays and frustrations. Their bid was the highest of the four I got and I was expecting a smoother process. Errors happen in construction, but too many on this project and maybe more importantly, no apologies or allowances ever offered.

HB Services did an amazing job installing LVP flooring on the first second and third floors of my Vienna townhouse, repairing siding, and painting the deck and balcony. I highly recommend this company!
