First time at Harry's. Had a great experience. Sat on the patio and listened to some great music. Food and service were great

I’m not sure if I’m just not used to “fancy foods” or if it was just bad. I got the two lobster tails and honestly I thought they tasted like they were cooked in 10 day old water from the bottom of a boat. My wife loved coming to this place as a kid and she said they tasted like cardboard, couldn’t even eat it. I’ll stick to the seafood further away from the sea. The waitress took 15 minutes in between getting our drinks, to get a ranch, to get a bag, and then to get our check. It’s a nice aura but if I wouldn’t wait 5 feet away after someone pays to go get their tip.

We love eating here anytime we are in town on vacation and have been dining here for years due to the amazing food and always great service. Mike was our waiter this past visit and he did a fantastic job with all the demands and requests from our large family and multiple kids.

We usually tend to try different entrees each time we visit but always start with the seafood dip and She Crab soup. Both are fantastic and definitely get the bowl of She Crab soup or you will be disappointed you didn't after you finish the cup. Every dish comes out cooked to perfection and has lots of flavor. Crab cakes were fantastic with very little breading and mostly crab as real crab cakes are meant to be. The stuffed shrimp were large and packed with crab stuffing with a wonderful flavor. The blackened shrimp and scallop orleans with the grit cakes was my favorite dish.

Favorite restaurant in St. Augustine! Went for first time last week while visiting the area. There was a wait, and I can see why. The food and service were outstanding, and they make a great Old Fashioned! Very nice outside seating area. Both the Andouille Crusted Grouper and the French Market Pasta were amazing! We can't wait to return and try some of the other dishes.

food was delicious here!! Our server was great! Antonio recommended his favorite dishes and he did not disappoint. He was super friendly and I will be returning!!! 5 STARS

Awesome food!!! Great place, phenomenal ambiance and great service. Even the weather didn’t like agree with us, our dinner was perfect.

Nice place with live music. Food was great. Service was great as well. I had the grouper, my wife had the pasta with chic/shrimp. I liked hers better , but both were good.

We have been here several times and the food is always delicious. Unfortunately, it seems like the service is going down. We went on Saturday night and expected a wait but there was over a 40 minute wait between our apps and our food. When we asked our server about it he said unapologetically that the kitchen was small. Let's forget that the other tables around us who came after had their food. It would have been nice if he even brought us more bread while we waited.

The food was excellent. I had the Navin special... It wasn't on the menu but our server Navin recommended with shrimp. I added a Lobster tail.
It was delicious.
Defenitly it should be on the menu!

Visited Harry's in Ocala, FL to celebrate a couple's 50th anniversary. We all had a wonderful time. Jeff, the server, was great, being there when you needed him even though he was handling several tables. Always had a big smile! Drinks were good and cold. Everyone was more than pleased with their meals, with both flavors and quantity of serving. Although Harry's was founded in Florida, it definitely has matched the cuisine of New Orleans and Baton Rouge!

Kind of a long wait but understandably so. Easily the best seafood restaurant in St. Augustine. The Crab Crusted Redfish Royale was killer!

Have eaten at several Harry's throughout Florida and am usually raving and share the experience. We were seated under ac vent and the condensation was actually dripping into our food. We expressed concern and were given the "shrug of the shoulders" and a "it's condensation" . I in turn stated "I'm quite aware, I just don't want it in my food". No consideration given after that. Waitress was okay but "nonchalant and seemed unbothered by anything". Still left 20%. One and done here.

We have been to Harry's multiple times in other areas first time in st Augustine. We waited almost 2 hours for our food and only 2/7 meals were good. The kids macncheese was dry and hard as if it had been sitting for hours they burnt the kids grilled cheese. The bread for the chicken sandwich was rock solid. Id avoid this location and go to any other Harry's.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Harry’s on 7/26/25 we sat on the 2nd story balcony awesome view of the bay compliments of Emily our adorable hostess. She recommended the chicken joule delicious. Our server Bethany was super cool and just chill handled the busy nite with ease. Staff, food , and atmosphere never disappoints♥️

We sat out on the patio listening to live music while the enjoying our delicious dinner! The atmosphere was relaxed and cooler than expected under the shade of the trees!

We loved this place! Salmon salad and drinks were all delicious. Service was great and the vibe was cool with outdoor seating and live music.

Pretty good spot! Our waitress Katie T. was fantastic! Super busy, serving a lot of other [big] tables, but she never forgot about us and kept our glasses & plates full - the mark of exceptional service. She never even asked us for this review, she was just that good and deserves a lot of recognition. I would a definitely recommend this restaurant, and especially Katie T., if you’re in town even for a short time, and want a good place to eat a causal meal.

After traveling all across the United States, Harry's beats any other state's crabcakes! Maryland has absolutely nothing on Harry's! It a great St. Augustine favorite with an amazing staff and great drinks to.boot

The food and portions were excellent. This is one of those places you have to try when visiting St. Augustine! I ordered the blackened red fish with smashed potatoes and my partner had a limited time special pasta dish that was perfectly spiced. The crab cakes made a great appetizer and the sauce was perfectly paired.

Better than expected. Great taste. The only thing the etouffee needs a bit more heat, flavor is there but the heat. Same with the fondue. Both needed a little heat , a touch of red pepper or cayenne. But still excellent. Service is great.

One of the two best seafood places I've ever visited. Quality is high very consistent and the blackened grouper panko crusted with red bell pepper cream sauce is out of this world as well as the grit cakes with tasso cream sauce. Have had many things on the menu and everything has been top shelf and you can taste the love in the food

This is one of our favorite places in St. Augustine. We enjoyed a nice lunch here on Saturday. We shared the grouper bites and shrimp/scallops with the grit cake. Both were excellent. Our server, Natasha, went above and beyond! She even made sure our very hot and exhausted pup had water!

There were so many choices in St Augustine, but I chanced it and went here. GLAD I did!!!!

The food was incredible and everything was seared and cooked PERFECTLY. I got the seared tuna salad as an appetizer.... Which came with at least twice the tuna of other chain restaurants.... Plus it was fresh fish. The filet was a perfect medium rare with a nice sear/crust. It lacked salt, but honestly they have salt flake grinders on the table, so I was not upset in the least.
Their service is quick as well... Unlike many other restaurants, you do not have to worry about your food being done and your waiter or waitress just not seeing it and bringing it out for a while, etc. The food was hot and came out quickly.
I am only here for a week, but I have picked out my dinner spot for the rest of the week!

Excellent choice. The only issue we had was a table on 8 talking so loud that everyone in our room was uncomfortable but not a reflection of restaurant.

Thete was a long wait time, but we ended up sitting at the bar and eating there. It took them at least an hour to bring the food out, but when they did, the food was delicious.

The fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever had... just exquisite. The parmesan encrusted grouper with andouille sauce was perfection. The smashed potatoes were delicious. The collards were very tasty. Our waitress was amazing! ( I wish I could remember her name! ) She was blonde with a very friendly personality and a steel-trap memory. I will remember this place fondly, from the beautiful outdoor garden area to the view of the water, to the art on the walls. I'm so glad my family chose to eat here on our trip there. Thanks again. I'll be attempting to recreate those tomatoes, by the way.

Stopped in on the way through Florida looking for some good seafood. FOUND IT!! I had the "andouille-crusted grouper". The sauce was on point with just the right amount of Cajun seasoning, and the grouper was cooked perfectly. The patio had an amazing breeze and plenty of shade. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Cajun/Creole food

Our server Bethany was AMAZING. She served me and my girls for my friends birthday dinner. Super funny, complimented my new turtle tattoo, great personality. Give my queen a raise.

Absolutely loved this place. While a tad bit more on the expensive side, it is 100% worth it. You walk into an expansive garden area with tables set up for guests to eat. You wait maybe 10 to 30 minutes to be seated, and you never know where, unless u request ofc. Multiple stories and outside seating it is an amazing experience, for both the eyes and the taste buds. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived not long after we ordered.

This was my first time at Harry's and I took my mom with high expectations. Mind you, my mom is sooo hard to please, so when she's happy that's how you KNOW you ate.

The staff and our waitress were so nice! We started with the Boudin Balls. Fierce. Delicious. Tasty. My mom decided on the Shrimp & Grouper Fried Platter and I knew what I wanted before I came in: the French Baked Scallops (which are not written on the menu). When the shrimp and grouper came out? Massive shrimps. Light breading. Perfect. My mom wouldn't stop talking about how this is how shrimp should be served I ordered my scallops with a side of sweet corn grits and almost fell out of my chair when I took that first bite. SISTER I couldn't stop dancing in my chair. These scallops had me throwing it in my seat. They are not stingy with the scallops and I love that. They had a nice char but weren't overcooked like THANK YOU!! I wish it was cooler outside or else we would've sat in their GORGEOUS backyard area. It would've pulled everything together but I can't complain about a god damn thing because everything was so good ????

After we finished, I told the hostess to give the chef a kiss on the forehead. I'm being so serious I had to let them know that it wasn't us who just ate, but the chef ate as well!!

The food is absolutely delicious! My dish was a 10/10. The menu has something for everyone. Our server Catie T was AWESOME! Definitely recommend it when in town…
PS… the Lemonberry Bliss is a must try!

Megan was an absolute delight at the bar. She recommended the fish royale which is now one of my favorites. We were told the kitchen was backed up but still got our food at a reasonable time and everything tasted so good.

Food was great. But the atmosphere where they put us was horrible. They put us in a small room (7 adults) with multiple families with young children (under 6). It was so loud we could not relax or talk. Ask the hostess to move us and she was like you need to wait another 45 minutes. If you want a new table. Horrible experience. Felt like a chucky cheese restaurant. Waste of a meal that cost over 300 bucks

The food was so good! 10/10 experience. Definitely recommend! We had the pasta and the shrimp & scallops. Also the ultimate margarita and the Hurricane Harry.

While I can't speak for others for my family and I it was just great, seafood lovers check please check it out.

We had a lovely wedding anniversary dinner. The appetizer was wonderful! We had a pasta dish that could have been hotter but was good. Will be back for sure. We loved the outside atmosphere was delightful and the singer was was good.

Delicious food and great service here. Theres a reason everyone should try this place out. Been here several times without any issues.
