Avoid this company if you’re in the Lakeville area. I didn’t hire them directly, but found out from another homeowner in my neighborhood that they subcontract with Lennar for roofing jobs. After an inspection, I’m facing thousands in repairs due to their poor workmanship. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable option. If they did work for you already, I would HIGHLY recommend having it inspected, hopefully while it’s still under warranty.

Jeff did an amazing job with my roof and gutter project. Have been a supplier on various other projects with Caleb over the years and he has always been professional, diligent, and precise.

I wish it were possible to give this company zero stars. I have a relatively new construction Lennar home in Lakeville and have started experiencing some issues with the roof. Lennar Referred me to this company as a contractor that installed the roof, as they told me, my house was out of the one-year warranty.

This afternoon I called and spoke with Caleb, who literally laughed at me And the company refused to even look at the issues I was having without me agreeing to pay a $260 inspection.

I would highly recommend avoiding this company, but if you have a new construction Lennar home in the south metro and they did your install, absolutely get your roof inspected and looked at while you’re still under your one year warranty. It’ll likely save you. Many headaches down the road.

Update 01/16/2025: I have had my roof inspected by several companies since this review was posted. It is unbelievable how bad their work was. The product was even worse than I expected. Avoid this company at all costs.

This company did a lot of roof work for the Lennar Cedar Hills neighborhood in Lakeville. If you have a house in this development, you may want to consider having your roof inspected while you are covered under a form of warranty.

It was a blessing in disguise the way that Caleb and this company treated me, because if not for that, I would have never pursued this as far as I have with Lennar and would not have discovered all of the defects in their craftsmanship.

Update 04/02/2025: Reply to Hardline's Comment

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate your time and I too am interested in honesty and clarity, but that has been difficult to come by in the entire interaction.

As I previously stated, Hardline did not provide any additional services or repairs beyond the initial roof construction on the home I purchased from Lennar. Several of my neighbors in this development have experienced roof issues, and they mentioned that your company performed repairs for them. However, in my case, I was informed there would be a $260 fee just to assess the issue, and no work was performed.

Lennar informed me that Hardline was responsible for constructing my roof. Can you confirm whether this is accurate? If not, please clarify. My only direct interaction with Hardline was a phone call with Caleb on the date of my original review.

I have obtained two separate inspection reports from a structural engineer, both concluding that the roof needs to be replaced due to construction defects.

This matter remains unresolved, and I am currently in litigation with Lennar over the defective roof. Once the case is concluded, I would be happy to share these reports publicly in the interest of fairness and transparency.

Again, I appreciate your time. If any of the information I provided is incorrect or if Lennar misrepresented anything, please clarify, and I will gladly respond.

Although it’s disappointing that I had to leave a review to receive a response from Hardline, I do appreciate you getting back to me and confirming that you performed the original roof installation for Lennar. I understand and respect your decision not to get involved due to the ongoing litigation. That said, I remain committed to resolving this matter in the most amicable way possible.

I will continue to respect the legal process and will refrain from making specific comments or discussing the issue outside of the appropriate channels. However, I do believe it’s fair to share my concerns with you directly.

It’s unfortunate that it took this public review to receive acknowledgment, as this was not my preferred method of communication.
