From start to finish, there were challenges - a vein of rock, an uneven preexisting wall, working around the time frame of other contractors. Both Zak and Cory handled them all with grace. I hired Happy Grass Mowing & More, Inc. to finish a shed we have in hopes of turning it into my personal candle workshop. We were very pleased with Happy Grass when we started working with them two years ago. We have a difficult yard to mow and they have kept up with it for almost two years. I’m not sure if they’ve hired different people, but the standard this summer is not what we have come to expect. Today, the gate to our fenced in back yard was left open for the second time in a month and our dogs got out. The first time this occurred, Corey was very apologetic and responsive, stating he would take care of it. Mistakes happen for sure, but we are frustrated and disappointed in the apparent carelessness. Supporting local business is important to us but not at the expense of our pets.

We are very pleased with the job that the Guys from Happy Grass did on our new patio and knee wall. The whole process was done professionally with absolutely no shortcuts! They showed up, worked hard, and gave us a beautiful addition to our backyard. We will definitely be recommending these guys!

Zack and Cory did a fantastic job for us. They built us a deck that was far and above what we expected. They also knew we had a handicapped son in a wheelchair and accommodated that without any questions. Actually they did some without us knowing at no extra expense.

I cannot say enough good things about Happy Grass and their amazing team. They designed and built the most beautiful decks for us in a record time too. I am so impressed with how well and quickly they worked on demolishing our old decks and building the new ones. The pictures do not do the decks justice. They are gorgeous. Cory and his team expertly installed over 1,100 feet of 4-rail wood fence on a hilly wooded area. His team was always on time, courteous, and cleaned up the worksite before they finished for the day. This was a challenging install through forested areas and over uneven ground. Even the gate had to be customized to fit the terrain! I appreciated the communication on challenges, and the focus on the safety of his crew! Great company and we will definitely work with them in the future!

We requested a fencing estimate from Happy Grass having seen and been impressed with their work on another property. The promptness of Zach and Corey’s response was surprising in the midst of winter snows. Within a week they walked and surveyed our property and we tweaked a satisfactory plan. In another week the entire fence surround and gates were completed in the midst of snow, wind, and rain.

Fantastic work!! Installed freeze proof water spigot for my horses in less than 8 hours. They went above and beyond. Extremely professional group. Couldn’t be happier.

Cory and Zack were great to work with! They came out within a few days for an estimate, they responded quickly to my questions, and they delivered a quality fence (with 2 custom gates) on time. They also cleaned the work area well at the end of each day, so that kids/animals would not be hurt by construction equipment. I would hire them again!
