I am extremely satisfied with this company and their work. I had previously used their service for a bathroom fan install (also very happy with it). The communication was on point, they were very accommodating, kind and took the time to work with me and my schedule. I appreciated the texts to let me know the time lines, time frames and names of technicians who would be working on assigned day. I can't say enough good things about Mario and Clint. They did an amazing job, were very professional and went above and beyond! I am very happy with my new bathroom and this won't be the last time I use Hampton Roads Home and Commercial Services.

I called this company, also known as "Hampton Roads Home & Commercial Services" to get quotes for an active leak and to redo plumbing in the home. I called several companies for quotes to get a baseline for cost and to see what options that I have. Typically, I am only given a timeframe when someone will come out. This company advised they would send someone out between 9am-11am. At 10:30am I received an email from Ryan stating that he advised his technician to leave because I "already have a plumber on site."

I can understand if it was awkward or can be seen as troublesome if there is another plumber present. The timing was not ideal, but I did not plan for, nor know, that they would be at my residence at the same time frame. Technicians typically give a call when they are on their way and provide an ETA, not just show up. I never received any notice this technician was on the way, nor did I know the technician even came.

Furthermore, he stated, "In the future if you call multiple companies it would be kind to let the company know so that they do not waste their time and money sending a technician out." I feel like this email was completely unprofessional. If there were any concerns about what was needed or if the company felt like coming out for a quote was a waste of their time, they did not have to send anyone out. Cecilia's Home Repairs / Hampton Roads Home & Commercial Services does not have to worry about me reaching out for any work.

Everything with my sewer line replacement was timely and completed as I expected. The workers were always respectful and courteous.
I plan to call Cecilia’s home repairs if I need services in the future.

This company is amazing! They were very responsive and had very clear communication. Daniel was so kind and helpful when scheduling my service, he worked around my schedule and gave advice and guidance about the issue. The technician showed up perfectly on time and was very professional. He completed the job in less than 30 minutes. I called Cecilia's Home Repair to get an estimate for work on a balcony that was the suspect of water issues. Nobody would know what the real damage would be until it was taken apart and they did a great job. Robert did a quick and efficient job of removing the old balcony and replacing the wood boards and railing with polywood and vinyl. He also removed the old sliding glass door (nonstandard size), replacing it with a new one, and repairing the exterior/interior of the wall. There was significant water damage from the previous balcony not being installed correctly so choosing Cecilia's to do the work was a great investment for our home, extremely pleased with how everything turned out!

Want a company that will do as they promised? That will show up on time? That will fill you in on what they are doing as they go? That will give you an absolutely beautiful finished product? Then Cecilia's Home Repairs is that company! I had been wanting a walk-in shower for years in my house, but finding a reputable company that will do as they promise can be challenging. I have a really old house (1917) and a shower/tub that had been there for years. I found them because a friend of mine had used them and posted photos of the work they did for her. I requested a bid, they responded right away and they came out as promised. A short time later I had an exact quote. They scheduled it with me on a date 3 weeks out - which gave me time to find the tile of my dreams. The great thing about the way they did the install was they let you source the tile of your choice and they supply the labor, plumbing and doors. They measure and tell you how much tile, grout, caulk and edging you need, and you buy that first hand yourself. Here is why that is a great way to do this work: it allows you the flexibility to pick out whatever colors and styles you want (instead of someone telling you what limited colors/styles they will install) and then it saves you $$ because the vendor isn't having to pay for it and deliver it. Anthony, Victoria, Mike, Mario - just eveyone involved, were so responsive with any questions and just in general reaching out if anything needed to be communicated. The techs showed up each and everyday like they were supposed to (I was out of town for 4 days of the install, which I think actually made it easier for everyone) and on the last day it was like a seamless production - the finishing touches, the clean-up and wood trim person, and then finally the shower door installation. I am so happy with the way this job went, and their professionalism and communication. I have a few more large jobs of things I need done, and I am going to for sure be calling Anthony Cecilia and his team to do them!

I called Cecilia's Home Repairs to replace 2 rotted 4"x4" posts on my fence railing. The estimate was quick and I believe very reasonable. They sent a carpenter, Mario, who did a great job and only took a few hours. First he had to remove two concrete anchors from the previous deck and that was painful to watch.

Anyway, I am totally happy with the repair and will continue to call Cecilia's Home Repair for future work.

I have use Cecilia's Home Repairs twice. They came highly recommended by my daughter and she was right about the quality of the service they give. They have never over charge and most often they are less expensive than other services I have used. I will use their services again as I need them. They will be the first I call.

Couldn't really ask for a better first impression with this company. Prompt response, good communication and came in under quoted price even before the new customer discount. Got us back up and running very quickly.

We used Cecelias Home Repair to replace an exterior door, install a roof rain diverter and to install an exterior ground drain.

The first basin was installed where I requested it to be. After that installation, the standing groundwater issue remained between that first basin and the 20 feet back to my shed. It was suggested that a second basin be installed. I agreed to same but I did not choose where the second basin would be placed. I allowed them to make that choice using their expertise. When I arrived home and saw the second basin was placed just 3 feet from the first basin I commented that I thought it would be farther back. So basically the first basin now only catches water from the 3 feet between the two basins. We still have standing water from the second basin all the way back to the shed. I contacted Cecelias to discuss the issue and the response was that if I want to pay for a third basin to be installed they could do that. Had I known the second basin would be installed just 3 feet from the first I would not have paid the extra money for that. And it has not helped the issue at all.

The placement of the second basin is the only issue that I have with Cecelias Home Repair. The actual quality of work they did for the installation of the door and the rest of the ground drain installation were very good. Also, the workers were very nice.

I have said it time and time again adulting is not for the weak especially when it comes to having necessary work done on your home. I had a few projects that needed to be completed and Cecilia Home Repairs made it easy to get the work done. I have had several different repair businesses come to my home but never followed up with a quote, the next would provide a quote but never answer to schedule the work and then I had some who were upfront and said unfortunately that was beyond their skill set. I was over trying to find someone but I happened to be on NextDoor and saw recommendations for Cecilia Home Repair and decided to shoot my shot and I could not be more happier that I did. Cecilia Home Repair were very responsive, friendly and genuinely made the transaction seamless from quote to finish. I was extremely satisfied with their pricing and work. I definitely will be using Cecilia Home Repair for my future needs.

Cecilia’s Home repairs provides world class all around service. They encompass every part of your home. I had a toilet blow out right before Easter and they were all hands on deck ready to help. I researched several options to fix / replace the collapsed cast iron pipe in my 1960’s home and it was hands-down obvious to select Cecilia’s Home repairs

Cecilia's is a rock start company. Mario is a great guy. Clint did amazing tile work in our bathroom. The drywall and paint was done very professionally. Would hire again!

Professional, timely, knowledgeable. Super responsive if you have questions or concerns. I highly recommend this company. I will use them again. You can see from the before and after photos that this company is top notch.

Quick and Fast. Very professional. Did exactly what they stated that they would do and showed up when they said they were going to show up.

There not all that great. Been called out twice in a years time. Blamed us for doing something we didn't do and neither time confirmed if they actually fixed the issue (water leaks). Came and changed all the flappers on the toilets and that's it. Never looked at the meter to see if it's showing water movement afterwards. Totally disregarded what we were saying to him. I say again Not All That Great.

Really disappointed....

So how does their craftmanship hold up after a couple of years of renovation? Not too good. Couple of years ago had Cecilia's renovate the upstairs bathroom. They did a decent job. However here are the problems that I have with the company:

1) During the bathroom demo they knocked a hole through into the next room and never mentioned it nor fixed it

2) Crack along the shower is growing larger. Prior, asked if it should happened again and they said it wouldn't. Yet, here we are.

3) They took the downstairs air vent (floor below the bathroom) which was original to the condo. They took it and didn't replace it until it was mentioned. The replacement isn't the original.

4) They took items that didn't belong to them. Missing a Lowe's bucket. Tried to take a cart used by senior neighbors to help load/unload their car. Despite witnesses, they denied the fact they used it and took it. After confronting them, it magically reappeared.

5) They cut the AC condensation pipe and said it was against code. Then said it would cost over $7k to get it replaced.

6) Left a hole in the floor which was shared with AC closet. (Bathroom floor was connected to the closet)

The list goes on....

Overall, really disappointed with the results. Now I'm dealing with cracked walls, electrical outlet that doesn't work, and bathroom fixers that are loose or broken off.
Thinking one star is not deserving.

Nothing not to like for my particular project. Mike and Vince were great. They arrived early, had a good attitude, were totally professional. Mike made me aware of an unexpected situation with the relocation of my buried waterline shutoff valve (there's always something unexpected). Once Mike presented my options and I made a decision, they made a quick trip to the store to get a new part and took care of the job. The cost of the job did not change. The first time I contacted Cecilia's was on a Friday. I received a emailed quote the same day and they were able to schedule the job the next day. Their availability to quickly get the job done along with competitive pricing made this a no-brainer.

Do you need a home Plumbing, Electrical or Home Improvements? Cecilia Home Repairs, is who you need to call! Cecilia Plumbing came to my home in Virginia Beach and moved a set of water supply lines, sink drains, and roughed in a shower, for my bathroom remodel. I have to say these guys were truely professional. There was a miscommunication on the location of a set of shower spray nozzles but they most definitely made it right. Their customer service is bar none, the best I’ve encountered in quite a while. Cecilia Plumbing put the needs of the customer first, cleaned as they worked, and after the job was done they did a final clean, as though they were never here. Thank you Cecilia Home Repairs!

I called Cecilia's Home Repairs to help with a few plumbing issues I had in my home that I had not so long ago moved into. I described my issues to Mr. Anthony over the phone and he was able to email me a quote and schedule a time for service that same day. When the technicians, Mike and Mario arrived to my home, I explained to them what the issues were. They took no time on getting started and not only did they address what I thought the issues were, but Mike pointed out other minor maintenance issues and explained to me everything that was wrong including showing me the old parts that were worn down. Another person on the team communicated with me via text about a choice in the new parts and gave me price points. The service was so efficient, they were literally in and out in a little over and hour and the cost was reasonable for all the work they did. In total they maintenanced 3 bathrooms with leaking or not efficiently functioning toilets, a shower that barely delivered lukewarm water, leaking tub handles, and low pressure faucets. The next day I noticed once of the sink drains was draining slowly. I called Cecilia's, explained the problem, and was booked for a tech to come out the very next day. Mike and Mario came again addressed the issue and explained what was wrong all in a matter of 10-15 minutes. Mike even demonstrated to me what the problem was and how even I can fix it if I needed to. Overall service was very efficient and professional. I definitely recommend Cecilia's Home Repairs!

Finally found an honest, competent and professional plumbing service for this area. It’s a pure pleasure when they come on time, literally give you an estimate the same day (!), and then show up and do the work when they tell you they will. Very fair pricing great people to work with.

Called Cecilia's Home Repairs and within 24 hours I received a response and a quote to come fix my problem which was a plumbing problem with my shower. the technician was on time and was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Daniel and Mario just left and once again I'm very happy I called Cecelia's. We used them previously to have a garbage disposal installed in my hundred year old home that required a new electrical circuit in addition to the plumbing and have been very happy with their work. This time we needed to have the fridge water line figured out (ended up being really simple, but I'm glad I called) and to rework the plumbing on my 1940s cast iron sink to accept a new faucet. I called yesterday afternoon and the guys were here bright and early this morning and got me taken care. Couldn't be happier with the service, quality of work, and level of professionalism.

Finding folks capable of dealing with the kinds of issues you face in an old home has been a huge issue for me and I'm glad we found some.

Ive had at least 7 different plumbing companies and electricians come out to address various things in the last year through my home warranty (See: hundred year old house) as I slowly work to update my home and stay in top of repairs and Cecelia's is absolutely my first call if I have the choice.

Hire Cecilia's Home repair to replace our fascia boards around the house, , fix our porch, and remove an A/C unit from the living room and patch the hole in the wall. Daniel and Mario did an excellent job. Both showed up ahead of schedule everyday, and made sure the repairs were done thoroughly. Quote was spot on, and even with additional repairs that were needed that did not add much more to the overall cost. Will be using them in the future for window replacements that we have been planning for about a year now. Highly recommend company to do any general repairs you may need.

Grandmother had a leaky tub faucet and they were the only ones to call back they even got out to us same day. Kevin was responsive, fast and respective overall a fantastic experience.

The two workers arrived at scheduled time, immediately went to work installing two new toilets, and was gone about 90 minutes later. They were friendly and cordial throughout the whole time. After having Cecilia's workers on our premises on three different occasions now, I have nothing but good things to say about them and the company. Having a pipe spewing water in my house was upsetting on TG morning. Sending out a dozen emails to plumbing companies but only hearing from 3 was aggravating. First I have to say that they are extremely responsive. I contacted them on a weekend day and got a call back that very same day. Not only that, but they actually sent someone out on a weekend to come give the estimate of repair. The representative that came (Mike) was extremely knowledgeable and professional which is why my family and I decided to move forward with this company. I will say, the only thing that took a lengthy amount of time getting to me was the actual estimate of repair which took about 7-10 days to get to me other than that, everything was very timely. They did require half of the payment to begin. Though, once that payment was made, work immediately started EXACTLY when they said it would. The crew that worked for me was here everyday at the exact time they said they would be. They were VERY, VERY clean about the work area and actually picked up after themselves. I mean, besides the plastic wrap covering the floor, there was very little inclination work was being done. The work they did was extremely thorough. They answered all of the questions I had about the work that was being done which were asked while they were working and busy, even so, they were polite and respectful. They finished the project when they said it would be done and did a pretty good job. At the end, there were some very minor issues that I addressed with them and they came right back out and addressed those issues for me. All in all, a great company I would hire again.

We hired Cecilia Home Repairs to restore our deck. They replaced the wood planking with composite wood and stained the deck rails. The communication via email was prompt and responsive. They ordered and delivered all supplies after providing directions as to how to select the product. The crew arrived promptly and even a little early. I have owned my home for 8 years and have no idea how I haven’t come across them sooner. They were able to get a technician to me in less than an hour, beat all other estimates by a substantial amount and were professional and courteous as well. I can’t stress enough that this company is going on my speed dial for everything from now on.

My kitchen sink was unusable due to a leak. Called on Friday - technician was scheduled to come out the next day. Later in the afternoon I got a call and asked if I wanted the tech to come out that day. (Yes!)

Had a leak in my tub. Home warranty hooked me up with a company that was terrible. Ended up finding Cecilia's on Google and messaged them on their site. They called me within an hour and came out the next day to fix the leak. It was so easy and efficient. Definitely calling them anytime I need home repairs.

Called and Schedule an appointment for installation of a kitchen garbage disposal. The person on the phone gave me a verbal quote. The day of my appointment the Tech was tied up on another job, but I was informed in advance and keep receiving updates until he arrived. Mike was the Tech that installed the garbage disposal. A great guy, he gave me all the manuals and other associated material. He cleaned up after and didn't leave anything behind. I wanted to use a credit card he sent a link for payment to my email and said that I could pay it there. Hands down one of best home repair companies in the Hampton Roads. I will be using this business in the future and referring them to friends!

They were quick to respond on a holiday weekend and to us in under an hour to resolve the issue. Reasonable pricing and polite staff. Michael our plumber addressed the issue quickly and professionally.

We called at noon. They had someone out at 2:30. In a few minutes the drain was unclogged. They were professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely contact this group again.

Very quick, very affordable, very friendly. Cecilia's sent a friendly person out to my house within about 1.5 hrs of my call. Was able to very quickly reinstall two toilets that were loose.

Needed to have an old dishwasher removed and a new one installed. Mike quickly made assessment regarding the power and hose attachments and proceeded with the removal of the aged dishwasher. He then installed the new unit just as quickly and performed an operational testing. All throughout he was courteous and professional, and answered all of technical questions when I inquired about other repairs to be done about the house. Yesterday they found that the new toilet I had, was cracked. They sold me a new toilet and installed for less than most charge for installation. I was pleased with their work, how they went to extra mile for me. They did a great clean up. I will be hiring them for my next repair or install job.
