I had a problem with a leak the plumber could not find. 911 Restoration came here and within a few minutes found it and gave me advice how to get fixed. After I had it fixed, we called 911 back out and they were here in 2 hours taking my kitchen cabinets out along with my hard wood floors. Such a great company to help me. I recently had a very disappointing experience with this particular business, and sharing my story is important. I encountered issues primarily due to their lack of communication and what I perceived as false advertising concern on their site that says Free Visual Inspection For Property Owners

Firstly, my appointment was rescheduled twice, which was inconvenient. The first rescheduling occurred because they failed to realize it was a holiday, and the second time was because they had a meeting scheduled that they hadn't accounted for. This lack of organization was frustrating and left me feeling undervalued as a potential customer

Then, just before my rescheduled appointment, which was today, I received a text request to provide credit card information to pay a fee that had never been mentioned in any previous conversations. This unexpected fee that Ive told i will have to pay up from was particularly bothersome, especially given that it hadn't been communicated clearly during the initial or rescheduling process.

Furthermore, I was drawn in by a promotion that advertised a free estimate as seen online, only to discover that this was a mistake. It felt as though the business was trying to lure in customers with an offer that wasn't genuine, only to surprise them with additional fees at the last minute. This tactic felt disingenuous and made me question the integrity of the business.

I have no issue with paying a fair price for services rendered. Still, when a business engages in false advertising, multiple reschedulings, and lacks clear communication, it reflects poorly on its professionalism and leaves a negative impression.

In an industry where trust and reliability are crucial, it's especially disappointing to encounter such issues. Businesses should strive to uphold their promises and communicate clearly with their customers, and I hope that my short experience can serve as constructive feedback for this establishment.

Regarding the recent update: I was given a contact number by the owner, but it connected me to someone unrelated to the owner. Despite following instructions and filing a complaint, I have not received any response since Sunday, June 30th. While I acknowledge the positive rating from 107 individuals, it's essential to prioritize consistency and genuine professionalism in order to build and maintain a loyal customer base. It's disconcerting that our contact information such as number and address is still retained, especially for individuals with whom we've had minimal interaction. I hope this feedback will contribute to your ongoing improvements.

I highly recommend 911 Restoration! They took care and of my problem promptly and followed through every step of the way. They were also polite, took measures to keep the house clean and were extremely knowledgeable. The owner was always available to answer questions and even took time to gave us several suggestion to keep the problem from reoccurring.

I was verbally quoted $300 for an air quality test for 1 room and outside plus $50 for an additional room but was charged $400 plus a $16 credit card fee. I called 3 times for a detailed receipt and an explanation of the results that were emailed to me and the technician never called back. This was over 2 weeks ago. I ended up having to call the lab directly to find out what the results meant.

911 restoration is reliable, efficient, & flexible! Jason and Ivan conducted the tear down portion and drying for some water damage in my upstairs and downstairs laundry room! Undergoing the rebuild process now. Hank is very helpful and very thorough. Would definitely use them again or recommend to anyone needing water remediation.

My entire experience that I’ve had so far was great! My first consultation with Ivan and Jason and Hank went well, they were very thorough and explained in detail what they needed to do and how everything worked. Hank also explained the breakdown of all the services and explained what they were as well. In the morning everyone arrived on time, and immediately began to start the process. Ivan and Jason were the technicians for removing the damaged areas and did so very quickly and efficiently. They were very kind and answered all of my questions for the what’s next. Hank even gave me a recommendation for a plumber when the issue of a leak arose. I am beyond grateful for everything that has been done thus far! Thank you!

We are in the middle of a project now with them. We noticed water coming up from our tile, but didn’t know where it was coming from. They got to us within a day and figured out the problem. The team has been professional and courteous. They have gone over the top to make sure there will be no mold issues after the water damage. They have been great about keeping me posted with what the next step is. Looking forward to having our kitchen back, but I appreciate them making sure everything is done the right way.

Contacted 911 Restoration on Friday they were out early Monday morning to my rescue. Great customer service. They were very prompt with their services. I would highly recommend them.

Company was amazing to deal with. Hank was very personal and answered all my questions and concerns to best of his knowledge.

Unfortunately I have to rate them a 1. Made an appointment. Took off work, waited 4hrs no one showed. I called twice to see what was going on. I was told they were running a little behind they would be there within the hour. That hour turned into 4 hours.

Typically I do not give one star reviews, however, this business deserves it. I’ve called this company 2-3 times to get a mold inspection done on my new home. The representatives never showed up and offered to rescheduled, and never followed up. I was looking forward to doing business with this company but they truly ghosted me.

I have had a history of mold illness, and my family hired this company to clear up a big mold, hvac problem. I would NOT recommend 911 Restoration if you are in my position and need to have a thorough mold clean up. My family spent $7,000+, less than 2 months later and the mold is growing back, I am sick, and have to move. I’m sure they work well for some people, but not in my case — hard to get in touch with, don’t come at the times/ days they said they would, no contact when I try to get in touch with them and say the mold is growing back. If you want piece of mind from
Mold illness, find a better, more reliable, communicative, and detail oriented company. They also said they would do air testing before and after and never did it, and when I asked why they stopped responding to my messages.

We had an appointment set for 4/18 and they needed to change it because the project manager had an emergency. Totally understandable. Changed appointment to 4/21/23 at 3pm. No one showed up, called the office at 4pm and was told she would find out what was going on and call me right back… haven’t heard from anyone since then.

I had a roof leak at my place of business, I have severe asthma and needed to be certain that there was no mold growing. I explain to them the situation they came out the same day to take a look and test my shop. They were very professional. They explained everything and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend

Horrible experience with this company. I had an appointment on November 5th from 10am-12pm and they never came. I waited until about 2pm before I called the office and explained that I had taken off work to be home for my appointment. The receptionist then said she would have the workers call me right away. They never did and as of today 11/16 I have never received an apology nor any response from this company. Very unreliable and unprofessional.

Absolutely the WORST experience I have had with contractors. This company damaged my high-end HomerWood flooring when they taped down cardboard to protect the wood. Not only did they damage my flooring, the owner, Hank Miller, has dodged my calls and texts thinking I would go away. He has refused to provide his insurance information to fix my flooring, so I am being forced to sue him in Circuit Court. CONSUMERS BEWARE!

They did a terrific job quickly securing a major leak in our master bath. The job entailed stopping the water flow, and the demo and removal of marble floors, quartz counters, soaking tub and vanities. They sealed off the room from our living areas, used HEPA vacuum equipment, and did a very clean and professional job with care. Along the way they found some mold on our subfloor from the moisture issue, and remediated it as well.They coordinated closely with our insurance carrier. Highly recommend Hank and his team!

Lewis and Jason did a wonderful job. They were very friendly and respectful of my belongings. However Hank works with the most rude and disrespectful subcontractors. They gave us false information and laughed at us when we did not understand what they were explaining. They are charging us for work they didnt complete.

Stopped by to fix an outlet, staff pleasant and professional. They worked with me in, while I turning off breakers.

Hank was very thorough in his inspection of our home. He is very knowledgeable and was willing to answer all of our questions. He kept us updated throughout the process so we always knew what was going on. We recommend using 911 Restoration.

Hank provided service for an odor that we could not get rid of after having the house freshly painted and the shower reglazed. So far the smell seem to be 10 times better. I can in for service the day before and they were there the next day prepared to work.

I truly just want to say a huge THANK YOU to the entire team for their help. We've had to call them due to another water damage issue, with an almost impossible to find leak that they found quickly. The communication and customer service has always been impeccable, and we are truly grateful for them.

Great job! Hank came and addressed the water damage in my home right away. He utilized different tools to help assess the extent of damage both seen and unseen. He and his crew were able to help remediate the mold and dry out the area for restoration. Much of my home had to be disassembled. He brought Israel, Jordan and Is to tear out the damaged floors and cabinets. I was very happy with the work done by 911 restoration VB. I would use them again. I hope I never need to - but if I did - Hank would be my first call!

911 Restoration of Virginia came out to help us with our issue. We had a smell in our home. It smelled like sewage or standing water coming through our vents from the crawlspace. They came out and examined the crawlspace; as well as, other areas of the house before giving us an explanation. Their recommendations were just. They went an extra mile for us by going beyond ordinary customer service. I definitely recommend them because of their thorough and integral service. We will be using them for a near future project.

The crew arrived very quickly and had no problem ascertaining what caused my ceiling to crack open. They cleaned out the space and left their huge industrial blowers on for two days to dry up the area, preparing it for repair. Very kind, industrious people. After they left, there was no trace they had been there. I highly recommend them!

I was pleased to find out that 911 Restoration provided sanitation and disinfection services. We had a close call with COVID in June, they were here within 24 hours and sanitized every inch of our 5000 sq ft office.

911 Restoration turned a devastating situation into a positive experience. My condo was flooded from the unit above, requiring walls, fixtures, cabinetry and flooring to be replaced while working with uncooperative insurance companies.
911 was not only extremely responsive and on time, they also took care of all repairs, keeping me informed every step of the way. Two weeks later I returned to a completely restored condo, sparkling clean, without any of the typical construction debris. Even all furnishings were placed back in their original location. The restoration was completed on time as promised, and with outstanding craftsmanship and effective communication. All insurance claims are filed by 911 Restoration as they are very experienced, removing anxiety and headaches on my part.

911 Restoration did a great job . When an emergency happens you need quick answers and restitution. One call to Hank and 911 restoration his team were there in a couple hours and fully took care of the situation. we had a major water leak three weeks later the project is complete and everything finally is back to normal. Hank's team is amazing. They responded quicker and faster then 2 other company's that I called. His workers were extremely polite and took very good care of my furniture. My house was a mess from the water damage and within 1 hour after they arrived I was seeing things get back to normal. 4 days later everything was completely dried out and ready for the repairs. Hank recommended a great contractor that put my floors back in and a few weeks later my house was back to new.

Nathan and Louis came to the house and were so very helpful when the hot water heater leaked through ceiling into downstairs kitchen. They were concerned with only taking out the necessary drywall and flooring below. Ron came out and explained the process and what to expect dealing with the insurance company. Good conflict resolution. I had a problem with the work that was done by one of their independent contractors and they came out and offered to fix the mess that the guy left behind.

I chose this company based on the reviews, so I need to make sure the scales are balanced more evenly for the next poor sap who decides to go with this company. Communication was abysmal. My first appointment was rescheduled, which was fine. But on my next appointment they just pushed back the appointment time without telling me until I called that morning to verify my appointment was still good since I had to have a family member go to my house to let them in. So I had to have that family member come back the next day to let them in since they wouldn’t be available at the later time. Then there was a lot of phone tag to set up a start date since the drywall guy was backed up, I didn’t want a missing ceiling for weeks, I wanted everything done the same day. So the date we settled on was a Thursday because I was off that day. The demolition didn’t take too much time, but I didn’t find out until that day that the drywall guy wasn’t available until the next day, so I had to have a friend come to the house to let him in since I would be at work. I was told he would be done in a few hours by my point of contact at the company. Gary was there from 9-4..and needed to come back Monday to finish. He was obviously an independent contractor because he had an unmarked van and looked as though he hadn’t slept in days, normally I wouldn’t throw judgement but the work he did was messy and unfinished. I never got a time or call for Monday, he just showed up at 9am and worked for a few more hours, left and came back, said it wasn’t dry enough to sand and scheduled to come back the next day at 5 when someone would be home. I think he worked for an hour or two, then left. There were plops of mud dropped down the wall, the vent cover wasn’t put back up and the floor has spots on it. I assumed he would be back at some point to clean up, but the next call I got was from my contact at the company calling to pick up equipment they left on day one...I asked when they were going to inspect the work done by the drywall guy?!? I have an appointment for next week for the “inspection.” At this point I might just take photos and clean up myself so I can get everything painted and start using my bathroom again. I will Never recommend this company.

Landlord decided to use this company because I urged her to. Well that has come to a big regret! First visit was the inspection on a Friday. They were 30 minutes late but didn’t mind because he called me at my appointment time and asked me if it was ok, to which I said yes.
Second appointment was for mold remediation the following Friday. Arrived 2 hours PAST the appointment time, no phone call, nothing. I actually had to call to find out if they were still coming. I was told they had another job but conveniently they were on the way AFTER I had to call. Noooo, it’s not possible they forgot about us is it? Good business practice is to call if you’re behind. At that appointment, the work notes were “read wrong” so the job wasn’t actually done. A dehumidifier was left that didn’t work so I had to call again for that and to find out why the work wasn’t done. That’s when I was told about the work notes being read wrong. They came out the next day on Saturday to do the actual job of ripping the entire closet out as needed and they fixed the dehumidifier. I was told that Saturday that I would get a call for them to come back out on Monday to finish. Guess who never got a call? You guessed it! Me! On Tuesday I had to call since no one had contacted me and they came out that evening to do the rest of the work and to pick up the dehumidifier. which was great because I couldn’t take any more time off work and the evening was perfect for me. They spray some stuff on the wood and tell me that someone will call me to schedule the reconstruction of my linen closet that no longer exists. Well here we are a WEEK LATER and guess who has NOT received a single phone call? ME!!! I still have no linen closet, just a door that opens up to the framing of the house. This has been an absolute nightmare! Clearly, communication is not at the top of their To-Do list because if you don’t call them and remind them of what THEY told you THEY were going to do, it WONT get done!
