Hambleton is very responsive. They called when they promised to and show up on schedule. Their personnel was very loyal to the company and proud of his work.

Our craftsman (Erick) has tackled everything we've thrown at him, including going above and beyond. For example, he simply noticed a knothole in our hardwood flooring and took the initiative to fill it without us even asking. The dispatch and scheduling teams are friendly, and the technology to know exactly when the craftsman is on his way is really helpful.

The flexibility inherent in hiring a Hambleton Handyman allowed me to modify the original scope of work once the Handyman was on sight as well as add additional work as time and my budget allowed. Given the number of projects we need to get done, Hambleton provides us the ability to make progress while doing so affordably, especially given that Hambleton charges at-cost for materials. Not only the most capable handyman service we've used but also the fairest.

I have been a landlord for 36 years and do a lot of my own work. If it is something I cannot do it is typically very difficult. In fact, I was expecting that your handyman would say that he could not do it - replace siding that came off high up against a chimney on a steep townhouse roof. Unbelievably, he was unfazed and had it done in a hour. I have worked with handyman services before and there is a lot they won't do. I was very impressed with the service and Ken in particular. After my initial contact, HH called me first to go over my requirements and to schedulea day for the work to be performed. They called back the day before the work to say they would need to postpone but quickly rescheduled for early the following day. The handyman (Eddie) arrived on time and was knowledgeable, skillful, and personable. He worked quickly and efficiently. All work was completed in an exemplary manner. All aspects of my experience were excellent. Throughout the process, from my first call to completion of the work, communication was very clear. I appreciated the texts that allowed me to see exactly when the technician would arrive, which was always at the promised time. On site, he explained what he observed about the problem, what he believed was needed to fix it, and his progress each day. I especially appreciated that the first technician recognized that the problem required a skill he didn’t have, and he recommended we have someone else do the work, rather than attempting it himself. That honesty enhanced my trust. Hambleton Handyman was then able to assign someone whose skills matched our specific problem. Both technicians emphasized doing the job right, not doing something that might quickly but temporarily address the problem.

Really annoying online experience. I filled out their web form with a request for help, and got an email saying I needed to schedule a time to talk on the phone so that I could understand “how their process works.” Like what does that even mean? Sounds like a scam to me. What can’t people use email like it’s 2022?

Wow, I can't say enough good things about our first experience with Hambleton Handymen. Our craftsmen was Scott Andrehsen and he was so nice and incredibly knowledgeable. We needed a closet door removed/new one installed and Scott got right to work and let us know what would need to happen and roughly how long it would take. The new door ended up being a bit shorter than the existing frame so he had to also build in some drywall and also took care to save the original trim so we wouldn't have to purchase anything more than needed.

After he finished with our closet door project, we ended up dragging him all over our house asking him questions about projects we had in mind and he took the time to explain what options we had and how he would go about them.

The installation took a little less time than originally thought and the entire experience was so great. We absolutely love Scott and will be requesting him for our future projects. Thank you Scott!

I have used Hambleton Handyman twice, once in 2019 and again in 2021. We all know went down in 2020 so we didn't have many services that year. The Master Service men were excellent. I had never seen the quality paint job that I saw both years, but especially this year. Brian was absolutely precise with his brush handling. Scott built a small ramp off of my front porch. Because the asphalt it had to sit on was sloped it was a challenge. He made sure that it was extremely sturdy and put extra anchors in and outside of the posts to ensure they would never move. They won't. Since todays materials are not like materials of the 50s and 60s he did everything he could to stabilize everything. He had to invent some things to ensure that the ramp was safe and secure. I was just so impressed. If you want quality you have to hire quality and Hambleton Handyman is a quality service.

My experience, so far, has been excellent. The company was quick to respond and schedule me. When Tim arrived, he listened and created a fireplace that matched my vision. I will definitely be using this company and Tim in the future.

We had a great experience using Hambleton Handyman - from being able to GPS the technician to know exactly when he would arrive, to the quality work, to the cleanliness of each mid-project area when Chris left in the evening. The office was very responsive to our scheduling issues and our handyman, Chris, was thorough and friendly throughout the whole project. Would definitely recommend Hambleton Handyman.
