Called SS at the end of their day (like 10 minutes til) with a question regarding solar hardware sales. Spoke with JD and even though he advised that they only do system installs, he stayed on the line and helped point me in the direction of a company that could help. 100% amazing group of people that really want to help the public with solar any way they can.

I was tired of paying $600+ power bills & the generator I have is insufficient for my house so I looked into solar. I'm not a Greenpeace hippy that believes fairytales about solar being able to solve all of the worlds energy problems.. it wont & it cant. But it's a great option to offset energy costs for homes & provided there is not a nuclear holocaust where the sun is blocked for an extended period of time, it's more reliable than the propane truck not getting to your house to fill your tanks for a propane generator. Sun always rises.

I went into this with no illusions. I wanted to cover about 50% of my energy use & have battery storage as a back up. I started researching. I was looking at GAF solar shingles & the Tesla Roof. Solarsimple DOES install the GAF solar shingle so I requested they come out & see what they could offer us. I received quotes from Tesla on their roof product & batteries. That was going to cost somewhere in the $160-220k range from what their salesman said. Too steep for my pockets. I decided to move forward with the GAF solar shingles.

Their GM Nick came out to our house & explained to me that the GAF solar shingle, while it does have a solid warranty & they will install it for us, we would need to get a significant portion of the roof done. This would be expensive and generation was less than panels. I really did not want panels on my house & especially not in the front of my house, but the software Solarsimple uses showed that with panels, I could get everything I wanted. They showed me a rendering of how it would look & what kind of energy generation we could expect. We spoke to a few other companies, but received lackluster response for such a large purchase we were going to make. Nick & the Solarsimple team answered all of our questions immediately, set real expectations on energy capability & gave us excellent customer service. They explained the permits that were necessary, the SRECs & how the batteries worked & the Net Metering relationship with the power company. We went over it all, so we decided to move forward with Solarsimple.

Install was pushed off due to vendor orders. Nick said he wanted to make sure we get some of the spring sunshine as spring is one of the best times for solar generation. Nick, John David (design tech), & Mike (electrician) came over in the interim to game plan where we were placing batteries & how the power lines were going to look. Permits were pulled with the county and power company. A short while later, we received updates that all of our permits were approved & ordered items were in & we were added to the install schedule. We were originally scheduled for 2 days. We were having weather delays with another company, & Steve (PM) ensured me they were flexible with our schedule, so we mutually pushed back a few days.

Delivery came in a few days before install directly from the vendors. Our solar system is pretty big. I did not want all of the materials sitting outside, not with what we were spending & I had to clear an entire garage spot to house it all for a few days, so buyer, be aware of this.

The install date came & the team arrived. Steve was in charge of the install & kept up the constant communication with me. They did a great job & they are a tight knit team. Organized and helped each other. One of the installers got sick & Nick, GM but our salesman, came out & helped with the install. The install took an additional day, mainly due to the size & scope of our project. They finished up & then we waited on the county to approve & the power company to install the net metering. They gave us PTO & we are up & running! We can watch in real time the solar generation & see how we can best limit energy use.

Solarsimple is a classic example of REAL teamwork people. I work in construction & it is a rare quality when your people step up & help different departments like I saw. This speaks to an exceptional culture. All the team appeared to be proud of where & what they do for work. And they should be! They did a fantastic job & made a customer very happy.

Solar Simple did a great job removing and reinstalling our solar panels for a roof replacement. At this suggestion, we also had “Critter Guard” that should fix our squirrel problems once and for all.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. They were very responsive to questions and provided great communication through the process of planning, designing and installing my system. Once the job was complete they followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. They even came back out to make an adjustment to the system to make it run more efficiently. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Solarsimple team has done a great job removing and reinstalling my 34 solar panels, they showed up on time, responded to my calls and emails quickly and repaired and changed parts as necessary, I am very happy with the job and highly recommend them.

Solarsimple recently finished installing my solar, and they did a very thorough job, the workers were very professional. I appreciated how well they did keeping the install clean, and they adjusted to my preference of keeping the equipment inside my garage. Im very happy with the work that was done, and anyone looking into solar should definitely give them a call, you wont be disappointed.

It has now been about 6 months since SolarSimple installed panels on the front of our new, RoofSimple, roof. I was a little nervous about how it would look but the panels and trim are the same color so there is no "grid" look. I hardly notice them. When I am aware of them, it is with a sense of pride and accomplishment. I wasn't expecting full offset but , happily, that is what we have experienced. The communication was excellent, the process was spelled out and followed to the letter. They handled everything and were very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend SolarSimple for your solar needs (and I have high expectations from service providers!).

I recently had a new roof installed by Roof Simple. I can not thank Nick Santschi enough for taking me through the process from beginning to end. He explained every step and answered any questions. He worked with the insurance company, the adjusters and everyone and everything else. I can't say enough about Nick - he truly is exceptional.
The roofing crew did a great job. They were such hard workers and very friendly and professional. And the clean up was exceptional.
For a new roof or solar panels I would highly recommend this company. Great company. Great people.

Solar Simple is a great place for your solar needs. I shopped around extensively and found their price, knowledge, and customer service to be outstanding. Also, importantly, there was no high intensity sales pitch. Highly recommend.

Nick Santchi is good sale manager. He helps you get a better price and a better experience to install solar panels.. SolarSimple is great service initially and the system is operating fine so far. Very highly recommend SolarSimple and Nick!
