They came highly recommended so was surprised at the outcome to say the least. We had a small leak and Shaun came to look at it then said he would send someone else to come and get a second set of eyes on it. Fast forward a week later Ray showed up to throw a small patch on the space. The following week received a $400 bill for 20 minutes worth of work and no mention of a quote. After calling to question the bill was told that $250 was “fair” so I guess I’m waiting for a bill to show up now that I never agreed too. If you call these guys you had better get everything in writing before you let them near your roof or they’ll sneak a ridiculous bill in your mailbox. Be warned, will be taking my business elsewhere in the future to hopefully find an honest roofer.

Was recommended this company so recalled and spoke to the owner who said he would give us a quote. AFTER A MONTH They never showed up and never returned countless phone calls, texts, or messages to the secretary. They don't even have the decency to say sorry we're too busy now.

Well Done HB Roofing! Our roof looks amazing. It was a very complicated roof with all its peaks and valleys. We talked to previous HB Roofing customers and looked at a lot of the roofs in our community that they have done and were very impressed. Sean Donnelly is a very professional and nice man who owns the company and he gave us a fair quote. We have had nothing but compliments on our roof and a lot of people wanting to know who the company was that did it. The two men who did the actual roofing were amazing, they were very nice and respectful. Just loved them. The lines on the roof are all perfect and they kept the job site clean and organized at all times. When they were done the roof, they swept and cleaned up meticulously leaving no mess and the bin was picked up immediately which was important to us. We would recommend HB Roofing to everyone.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
