Cosmo and Harold did fine, professional work installing gutter helmets over my drains. They were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and left no mess. I highly recommend them.

Anthony and Derek installed my gutters quickly on a very hot and humid day. Despite the unbearable Heat they still got the job done in a timely fashion.

I am not happy with the installation of the Gutter Helmet we had done a few months back - and certainly not for the money I paid Huff n Puff for the installation. At NO time during the sales process or during the installation itself was it explained that the gutter shields could (or would) have to be installed ABOVE the shingles and screwed directly DIRECTLY into the roof shingles.

During the sales presentation, the gutter shields were shown as being screwed into the roof after being placed UNDER a row of shingles for protection.

Apparently, there was an 'alternate installation method' where the shields are just screwed directly INTO the shingles if the shingle distances are off from the edge. The salesperson never mentioned this possibility, and the installer never mentioned that they were using this alternate installation method.

The fact that the shields were screwed into the shingles rather under the shingles was not noticeable from ground level. I discovered that I had sixty to seventy screws put into my roof AFTER I climbed up a few days later to see how it looked. I was shocked to see a row of screwed-in panels going down the full length of my house. The entire roof, front and back, was installed this way.

Upon inspection, I found a few faults with the installation. For example, the screw they used on one panel was close enough to the edge of the shingle above that it pushed that shingle up a bit. When I called to complain about the installation, I was informed of this 'alternate installation method'. No explanation why I was never informed of the possibility that they would need to install with screws above the shingles. They did come back to correct a few issues I addressed - but I hadn't gone on the roof myself, they would have never been found. There were obvious problems that should never have been left from the initial installation.

Seeing the final result of a bunch of screw holes in my shingles, I would NOT have had the Helmet installed. I am very worried about future leaks with some sixty screws embedded in my roof shingles. A few weeks after the installation found one soft spot where a screw was not secure. This was a spot where the installer had come back to fix because that area appeared crooked (which was probably because of the spot.) I was actually able to remove the loose screw with my fingers. Didn't look like much sealant in place. I added my own sealant to the screw and replaced. I'm not having Huff n Puff back again.

I don't feel that I was provided the product that I was sold. I'm worried that I traded one problem (the gutters) for another (future roof problems). Time will tell, I guess.

This project was NOT worth the high price or headaches. I will not use Huff n Puff of Middletown again for any home project.

The reason I gave one star in this review is because I gave a two-star review when Huff n Puff sent a request for feedback - but then I never heard back from them on my comments or the problem I found with the loose screw.

Update: 10/2018. In painting the fascia board on the overhang, it's clear that the repair they did was not sufficient. They were going to cut out and replace the damaged sections. They did just one side, and it's clear that they should have replaced an addition 3-4 inches more of the rotting board than they did. Had to fix with wood putty. Also, the new gutter directly over the walkway leaks from the end. Had to fix it with rubber spray. Overpriced, shoddy work.

The crew that came to do the work was early - YAY! and did a very good job. Ken was informative and showed me the issues that our gutters had before remediating the situation.

Installed today, service was excellent by Matt and Trevor. Thanks for the install!! The gutter helmet looks good, the install does not damage your roof and it was quick to install. I am happy with the whole process. Thanks gutter helmet, next on the to-do list will be having the heating element's installed.

I was very happy with the installers matt and ken. They very thorough and polite. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Contracted themnto repair and clean the gutters on my house. Work was outstanding and the crew was extremely curtious and well mannered. A+ service.

Couldnt be happier with our system. The best part was they took care of everything from the leaf protector to the heating of the system to remove icycles in the winter. Highly recommend

I've had gutters and Gutter Helmet put on two houses of mine with these guys. The prices are fine but the work is really good. The guys do good work and are personable. The salesperson was knowledgeable and new his stuff. He was able to take what I needed and get me a quote right then and there, no waiting for something in the mail or leaving it in the mailbox. I financed both jobs for a year no interest. They've been around a while and have a good reputation and any time I've needed service they have responded and come back to sort me out.

After procrastinating our large window replacement project for a while because we thought it would be so stressful, we finally went ahead and started making some calls. From the minute they answered the phone we felt like Renewal by Anderson was the right choice- they were really polite and answered every question I had very patiently and knowledgeably. Every step of the process after that went very smoothly, I was so relieved, from management to the installers. The crew was prompt and polite and stayed true to everything they said they'd do. The amount of time they said it would take was accurate, they didn't leave any kind of mess for me (thank you) and they were even great with my dog. When the whole thing was done I walked through the house smiling and admired how amazing everything came out. I won't put it off next time, I'd call this company again any time. We are really pleased!

My renewal by anderson windows were put in approx 4 years ago. The sales pitch was aggressive. We needed windows so we went with it. The installers who came to the house were nice and they kept the job clean. In saying that the install is terrible. I have had condensation around my windows from day one. I had them out and they said this was normal. I recently had Lowes install a very large bay window and remove a bay window and replace it with a large flat window and I have no condensation on my windows. We spent a fraction of the cost and they are not Anderson and due to the install, it's a better product. Do not use this installer and do not use renewal y Anderson because it's a complete rip off!
