We want to give Gaurenteed building maintenance a five star review, if we could give more we Would. It’s very hard to find a professional company that actually does what they say.they are going to do. No misunderstandings and in a professional, clean and caring way. This company has done it.
Danny and his crew Installed a new Garage roof that match the tiles to the main house And also cleaned out all the gutters that were a mess as we are putting our house up for sale. They did it under a week. I called on a Monday and the work was done completed by Thursday. I never seen anything like it. It’s wonderful.. This is a company you can depend on. I don’t often write reviews, but I felt as though I needed to for this company as they have gone above and beyond the scope of their work just to please a customer! Good Job Danny and Crew. . I’ll recommend to all I know.

I used Guaranteed Building Maintenance to replace old wood siding with new vinyl. I had a botched job caused by a previous company, and it resulted in a leak into my house when it rained. I called Dan and he literally was out the same day to look at it.

He provided a very fair quote, and he told me that they would start work the following Friday, but started work 5 days early, and his guys worked nearly 12 hours each day, never late, rain & shine, and left the job spotless. I have a small child and was worried about the nails being left around, but they cleaned up everything & were very respectful of the property.

Dan has his own dumpster trailer, so he throws all the junk in there and tows it away when the work is done, eliminating the hassle of dealing with a separate dumpster company for the project.

What I appreciated the most is, anyone who has hired anyone in construction knows how it is next-to-impossible to find someone who can show up on time when they say they are going to show up, and communicate consistently throughout the process. Dan and Guaranteed Building Maintenance stuck to the schedule 100% without missing a beat, showing up at 7:30 am and working to nearly 7PM some days, and frequently followed up checking on my satisfaction with the progress. I had a bunch of questions and he responded within minutes to each of them when I had them.

After quite a few bad experiences working with some other companies, Dan and Guaranteed Building Maintenance helped restore my faith that there are actually businesses out there that really do take pride in their work and customer service. They will be my first call in the future for any future work, and I would recommend them 100% without any hesitation.

I own an old 1882 Victorian home and was in need for a roof repair. After calling and speaking with Danny from Guaranteed Building Maintenance I received the best advise possible. Danny took the time to explain to me his concerns that he had with my slate roof, gave me my options and helped me make the correct decision.

I called Dan and GBM after another satisfied customer told me about them. First, he promptly returned my call. Then I received a quote in a reasonable amount of time. There were some details on the quote I questioned and we resolved them fairly. My job was scheduled and completed - like really finished with no loose ends - as promised. Great product, nice people and my house looks great.

Had some clogged downspouts. Spoke with Danny at 7:15 on Friday morning and he had his Team at our house by 11:30 that day. They were courteous and professional. I won't hesitate to use them for future projects.

Guaranteed Building Maintenance quickly responded to my request for a quote on my siding project. They worked my project into their schedule and had the work done the following week. Very professional and we love the results!

Guaranteed Building Maintenance did an outstanding job on our roof! We had a persistent leak around our chimney that 2 rounds of chimney repairs and an evaluation by another roofer were unable to remedy. Dan immediately identified the problem - our chimney flashing had to be ripped off and the back half or our roof had buckling and cracking shingles. While no one wants to hear they need a new roof, you will find no one better than Dan and his crew at Guaranteed Building Maintenance!

He uses a satellite imagery software that provides a full assessment of your roof – 7 page independent report detailing sq footage, pitch, ridge lines etc. Within 3 days of our first conversation, we had an estimate and signed contract. His insurance agents sent over copy of his liability and workmans comp insurance showing our address and name immediately after putting down a deposit. His responsiveness is unparalleled, his reviews speak for the quality of his work and we were extremely happy with the price.

2 weeks later we were ready for installation. Wow – what an amazing crew! We had a crew of 10 and they absolutely crushed it! I’ve never seen such a highly skilled, motivated and organized group of people work so well together. By 10 am, they had the main house roof torn completely off and reshingled by the end of the day!! The roof is BEAUTIFUL! We used 40 year architectural shingles and it’s absolutely stunning! They cleaned up EVERYTHING – not a nail or shingle left behind. The next day they returned to finish the garage and other small sections that buttress out from the house and once again cleaned everything to perfection.

We are so happy with our new roof – and Dan and his crew made the process so easy. We had high expectations because we knew going in we hired the best and somehow they exceeded our expectations. Called Danny on Wednesday for a new roof. By Friday he had me the quote and on Sunday he stopped by with shingle samples and answered any questions. I was scheduled for 3 weeks out, but on Monday Danny text me that he had a cancelation and his guys could get my roof done on Wednesday. So from first contact it took only a week to get my roof replaced. They removed my gutter helmets on Tuesday and put them back on when the roof was completed at no extra charge (other roofing companies I talked too wouldn't touch them and had required that I had them removed and put back on myself). So for me, pricing was more then fair, they did the extra work (gutter helmets) and was still less expensive then the competition. As far as cleanup goes, the only signs they left that they were here was a new roof, no trash or debris left behind.

Dan and his crew were prompt and courteous with the removal of an old shed and various household debris. I will be contacting them again to clean my gutters this fall. I highly recommend his service. They did a great job!

I was missing tiles on my roof and made a few calls to A+ rated contractors. GBM was one of them and Danny called back and came to look at the job the same day. He told me what he thought of the issues leading to the loss of shingles and offered a few options. We agreed on a course of action, a fair price, and his guys showed up and did the work the very next day, completing the job in a few hours. I would recommend.

Great experience with Guaranteed Building Maintenance. I needed to get an extra downspout added onto my house + some relevelling and cleaning of existing gutters, and they came out next day for an estimate, and then came out the following day to get the job done! Danny put a rubber roof on my flat-roofed 1840-ish home in Dudley, MA almost 25 years ago and its held up very well.
Periodically over the years I've had him come to inspect the roof - and when he did so again just recently he discovered that around the chimney (almost in the center of the roof) there was some leaking that had not yet shown up on the ceilings of my 2nd floor. I think the leak was caused by a chimney repair I had recently, by a different company, which probably disturbed the rubber roofing around the flashing.

Danny's guys got right on the job.
They were back to repair it just a few days later, as promised.
They got job done inside a day.
The guys were courteous and neat and cleaned up every speck of old rubber roofing and the water-soaked insulation under the rubber off the lawn. They also made sure there was no water or mold damage to the wood roof underlayment.
In short - they were fast and thorough.
Pricewise the job came in exactly where Danny said it would, and it was reasonable.

This is a good company, with good people working for it.
I will have no hesitation about calling them again.

After inspecting work, found poor installation of repair over existing roof. Used wrong color shingles…had to come back. If not inspected what would have happened? Just had some estimates for roof replacement and was told by multiple companies that it looks ridiculous and can’t understand why anyone would install the wrong color shingles?
Color aside, my point was simply inspect what you expect. Guaranteed came back to correct after I sent photos of the work initially performed. Just sharing my experience

Had some shingles blow off in a wind storm so I contacted GBM and they came out the following day and made temporary repairs before the inclement weather started. Ended up getting reimbursed by my insurance company (I highly recommend Amica) and had GBM install the new roof. The process was quick and GBM was responsive and helpful throughout.

No complaints here… Quick turnaround on estimate . Explained the process , communicated through it , did what he said . Knocked it out fast and cleaned up well . Thank you for the positive experience of a new roof!

Guaranteed Building Maintenance did a great job installing our roof! They were the fastest to respond and first to actually go up on our roof and inspect it because we lost some shingles in a wind storm and they wanted to make sure the roof would be okay for a snowstorm later that day.

Dan was extremely responsive to us and made sure we had the correct documents for dealing with the insurance agency over our roof replacement as it was our first time doing a project like this on our house. The replacement was super quick and the guys cleaned up around the house even better than what it looked like when they arrived. You can tell they take great pride in their work and stand by their service 100%. Definitely would recommend this team again.

In contact throughout the whole day of the job. Stripped and reroofed in one day. And such an excellent clean up! Except for the new roof you couldn’t even tell they were here ! Highly recommend.

Danny, Ron and every member of their crew were on top of every detail of the job, doing quality work both with the entire replacement of our three roofs and the installation of our new replacement skylights.

Danny kept in touch in every step, as we had to work around weather, and was on top of materials supplies and what was available to assure we could complete the project quickly.

They were able to complete 90+ percent of the complete removal, replacement of rotted plywood, adding of plywood to one roof that only had wide boards for underlayment, used a specialized venting system to keep high airflow in the cathedral ceiling rafters to prevent ice daming, along with adding Ice And Water Shield in all areas it was needed.

The roofing team was also cleaning up debris all day and when finished the next morning, there was not a nail or scrap of shingle anywhere in the yard or bushes.

When the new skylights arrived, they scheduled the installation within a week.

During the skylight installation they worked from AM to late afternoon, brought the matching shingles to complete the job and took away all packaging, as well as cleaned the yard and gutters of all debris.

They were competitive in price and excellent in every aspect of the work they performed.

Danny and team are amazing. We had an emergency situation, and they responded quicly, and took care of the issue. There were some unique logisitcal challenges, but that didn't slow them down at all.

After getting 3 other quotes I ended up getting a quote that was well over $700 lower than the competitors. Within a week he had given me the quote, gave me a booklet of colored shingle samples, gotten the permit, and had the old roof torn out, new roof put on and bathroom vent added. He had had his own trailer so everything was done and cleaned up within a single day. He was very responsive and helpful, would 10/10 recommend!

We just had our roof stripped and shingled by GBMAINTCO. After getting many quotes from local roofers, we chose these guys because they offered the most comprehensive service. They took care of everything from permits to cleanup. We have a straightforward roof, but it is large. Others were estimating a 4 to 5 day project, but Danny and his hardworking crew were in and out in 2 days. They even took away an old sofa along with the 2 layers of shingles from the job....saved me a trip to the dump! Yes, I highly recommend this Company.

Danny and his team handled a tricky roof repair for us in early December. What started as a small leak was turning rapidly into an emergency with winter weather on the way. Danny was responsive and came to the rescue all the while staying in regular communication. His team worked in the snow to make the repair quickly for us. Because of the snow they weren't able to clean everything up from the job site, but as soon as the snow cleared enough, they came back (without being asked) to clean up and leave the job site pristine. We could not recommend Guaranteed Building Maintenance enough. We would use them again in a heartbeat. You will not regret making a call to Danny!

I’m really happy with how everything turned out

Few Saturdays ago I had a leak in my living room. So I knew my shingles were in bad shape and needed replacement.

I honestly wasn’t sure where to begin so I looked online. I found the website for Guarenteed Building Maintenance and felt they were the right choice

They were awesome. Made the whole experience completely painless. The owner really went out if his way to make things easy for me and came by the next day after my call and had a very reasonable quote

They got my whole roof stripped and shingled in about 5 hours while I was at work. Also the owner Tom texted pictures of the various stages throughout the process

I feel the the company and the owner really worked hard to make everything go smoothly and there was nothing for me to worry about

I would absolutely use them again for a roof or the other work they do like siding

Guaranteed Building Maintenance replaced some warped vinyl siding on my house. I called Mr. Truax one afternoon and he came to look at it the next day. He was able to give me an estimate on the spot. The following day, we met up so I could give him a deposit, and Mr. Truax explained why the siding had warped and how the new siding he was ordering would prevent it from happening again.

His team replaced the siding on my house today and it looks great. They cleaned the area up before they left, and if it wasn't for the new siding you wouldn't know anyone had been there at all. I was at work today, and Mr. Truax sent me several pictures of the work both in progress and when it was finished.

The turnaround time from when I first called until the job was done was a week or less, and Mr. Truax was very responsive and available through call or text the entire time. The price was fair, and the job was done well. I would recommend Guaranteed Building Maintenance to anyone in the Sturbridge area looking to get this kind of work done.

I was in need of a gutter cleaning, we hadn't had one since we purchased the house about 10 months ago and didn't know what was going on in there (although, we were able to see that they were in need of cleaning due birds playing in them and weeds growing in some spots). Being new to my area, I went onto yelp in search of gutter cleaning. They matched me with 4 possible companies, two of which said they didn't have time to do my gutters and another two who responded. I texted back and forth with Dan (owner) and he was able to give me a quote with just a few pictures. Even tho it's a busy time of year for them, they squeezed us in on a Sunday, YES! A Sunday morning! 4 guys came, checked in before starting, then another check in afterwards. We are so pleased with them! They put everything into buckets and took everything away with them so we didn't have to do anything!! Truly headache and stress free experience which is always wonderful! I will recommend them to others and use them again in the future!

My project was for repairs to rotted cedar siding and rotted wood trim, then painting the repaired sections and painting the high (second story) gable ends of the house and garage that I couldn't reach. Although it was a small job, Guaranteed Building Maintenance took it on and completed it in 3 days. The workers on the job were professional, courteous

From start to finish, Dan and his team did a fantastic job at our home on two separate occasions. Most recently, a total replacement of our roof!
