I am thrilled with the outstanding work that GSD Construction performed on my home. Beyond delivering a superb roofing job, they also skillfully handled our soffit, fascia, and gutters. Their craftsmanship was so impressive that I sought their recommendations for additional services, including finding a contractor for my floors, walls, and house painting. As a recent homebuyer from up north, I was unfamiliar with local contractors and concerned about finding reliable professionals at a fair price. GSD Construction not only met but exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of top-notch work and trustworthy recommendations.

This company was great to work with! They were with us through and through, especially Senior Loss Consultant Andrew Niethold who was wonderful! Andrew kept us in the loop on a consistant basis, and was patient and kind with the questions we had over time, and would always reply with texts or phone calls mostly within a day. We can't say enough great things about him! He made sure all went well throughout the process. Also impressed with the crews that worked on our roof, and also the field manager who oversaw in the quality of the work being done. Thank you all!

Not a single roofer spoke to me or treated me like Travis when trying to get quotes. This was my 1st roof… 1st metal roof…. 1st Florida roof experience…. A tough learning experience & very frustrating. Travis changed the entire process. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at any time asking all of my stupid questions. He went above & beyond so many times & his price was no higher than others. He & Stephen even explained how I did NOT need things done that other roofers said I needed… such as removing toenails when installing straps which is very labor intensive, unnecessary & very costly!!! The inspector made a point to tell me how great the work was, specifically the work Stephen did on the single straps. Even the laborers were so nice to me! They left my home & yard in great condition! To be able to have a professional, competent , Un-intimidating experience & even be able to laugh through it all…. At a fair price is a unheard of. These are your guys & your company!

Just used these guys. They were a little more expensive than the other quotes I got. I asked why? Travis asked to look The other estimates I got and pointed out several areas in small print that I missed, It's rare to find a honest contractor in Florida,. I have no family here to look out for me, but now I do.

Stephen and Travis were very professional. These guys tell you straight forward what the issues are so you Don’t waste your money.

It pays to use the highest rated company. I've always gone with the cheaper companies and I always had so many extra costs on the final payment. This is the third project I've used this company for. You think hiring a good roofer is expensive? Try hiring a bad one. Travis runs a a great company. It's so nice to find a honest contractor.

I contacted several companies to get estimates for a roof repair caused by hurricane Ian. The ONLY company who responded was GSD - and they contacted me shortly after my call. Their employee (Steve) was professional, polite, showed up in a uniform. He gave me an estimate and explained the repair process in detail. He scheduled the work in a timeley manner, and even moved me up in the schedule when another customer wasn't ready. The work was done quickly and thoroughly. I couldn't ask for better service. I recommend GSD highly and when friends ask for a good roofer I will send them to GSD.

We needed a whole roof tarp on our mobile home. After calling numerous companies, GSD was the only one who responded. Stephen and his crew arrived that night to access the roof’s condition. The next day they were here with the tarp. I can now breath until we get our new roof in February.

This is the second time we have used the services of GSD Construction. They are prompt, professional and go above and beyond to provide the best customer service. I can't thank Travis, Stephen and Johnathon enough for helping us through a very stressful situation. Would (and will!) highly recommend them to anyone.

My roof was quoted at 9k then when it was finished I was told I owed 15k, that’s almost double. They finally agreed to 14k and some change. Less then 30days later the roof started leaking and ruined all the brand new drywall. They sent someone out to patch it and promised someone would fix the drywall, which no one ever came back out for that. Now we are 3 months in and the roof is leaking again !! I would not recommend this place to anyone in need of a roof !

Short version: They charged a lot and didn't follow through with timelines, communication, clean up, and were full of excuses.

Longer version: Eric said three days. That turned to three weeks. Several excuses from permit delays to "sub contractors truck had a tire fire". Then after a week and a half delay getting the gutters installed, they didn't even do the 100 feet we were paying for. So we can also chat about crooked exhaust vent and satellite left laying by a cord on the newly done roof just in time for the storms. After demo day I went and did a magnet sweep... Came up with two hand fuls of tacks and nails.wouldve been a bad day for the kids and dogs, so we communicated our concern and we're assured a thorough sweep would be done after install. That happened... but I did another sweep and came up with almost another two handfuls. Then to close it up, asked for an adjusted invoice prior to last day of payment and not only was he 29 minutes late, I still don't have invoices, receipts, or the trash that "will pick it up first thing in the morning with the truck".

Poor communication, poor follow through.

I definitely feel ripped off.
We're just glad to be done doing business with them.

We don’t normally go with the highest estimate, but we have heard so many stories about bad roofing companies, Travis gave us so much information and told us what to look out for with other companies. We were going to go with a different company that was Cheaper, only to find out they just did our neighbors house and already have leaks. Just like his card says “ you get what you pay for”

I highly recommend GSD for roofing and gutters, including skylights and attic vents. Travis is available and responsive, and kept me informed at every step. They are hardworkers, and completely professional and respectful. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure a job well done. I have zero complaints and am thrilled with the results. 5 stars! We have a large roof and there were concerns about getting supplies and when the job would get started. Turns out they got it done ahead of time and under my budget. It's no wonder they are rated so high. I can’t thank this team enough!

It’s never a fun situation dealing with fixing your roof… These guys made it SO easy and it was a great, no stress, process. They finished quick, and the work was done right. Can’t ask for better in my opinion.

Great sales pitch but that was about it. They sub out everything. Materials showed up a week after we agreed GSD would do the roof. The material sat on the roof for 5 weeks. They had problems with the permit as there business license expired. They roofing crew did a great job but was told they would be at my house on a Wednesday and showed up Monday around 0700 without any notice other than people on my roof. Took 4 weeks after the roof was complete to do the facia work. The permit could not be closed because they failed to add a sheathing report. I did not receive a bill for another 3 weeks. During this 3 month process it was terrible communication if any at all. All this for a 1300 square foot house. The sub contractors are fine but this company is terrible.

Great guys, Devon and Johnny, cleaned up after and very informative about products, they went above and beyond what we expected.

This roofing company is awesome! Jim Henderson, the company’s contractor was here every step of the way as my new roof was put on! He inspected and oversaw the crew daily.This experience was way beyond my expectations, and I got a high quality roof with beautiful skylights! I recommend GSD and Jim Henderson to anyone.

After a storm my roof started leaking into my bedroom ceiling. ugh, I assumed I had damage to my roof, the storm was awful and strong enough to break limbs off a few of our trees. I wasn’t looking forward to the process of having my roof work done again. I had just paid 3 yrs ago to have the whole roof replaced. My insurance company said I had to or they wouldn’t renew my insurance policy. The roof was old when I bought the house so I already knew I would eventually have to bite the bullet to replace it. It was expensive but that’s part of being a home owner. I filed a claim with my insurance company and they basically denied my claim - saying there was $687 damage and to have it repaired. I was talking to my cousin about it - she lives in the same area and had damage too. She referred me to her GSD rep Christine - she used them for h er home and was really satisfied. I called and Christine was nice enough to squeeze me in for an appointment. After looking at my roof she said there was in fact extensive damage from the storm as well as other things that were damaged on my home from the storm. After submitting an appeal with my my insurance company they sent out a different adjuster to inspect it again and I finally got approval to have my roof replaced. I just wanted them to be fair and I just wanted to be made whole again! I’d drained my savings paying for this roof a couple years ago and every year I pay a hefty premium for my insurance. After the approval Christine scheduled for the replacement to be done. She’s definitely an experienced expert. She explained the whole process. Her crew was punctual and hardworking; they left my property spotless and my roof looks amazing!!!! I just couldn’t be happier!! I wish I would have known about GSD last time. So grateful my cousins referred me to them!!! I’ll be referring my friends and family to them also.

Roofing crew was punctual and hardworking. Did a great job stripping off the old roof and installing new. Also did a good job cleaning up the area when done.
Jonathon DuMoulin did a nice job installing new gutters.
Christine Cummins was super responsive and always ready to assist with the insurance process.

Initial Review - I am only rating one star because you have to give at least one in order to post a review. This company approached me several months ago to replace my roof by way of filing an insurance claim. After researching them I decided to go through with the process and made an appointment to proceed. The "General Manager" who was scheduled to meet me reschedule the day of the appointment due to a inspection that had ran late. Upon the date of our rescheduled appointment, nobody showed up. I called this individual and left a message but never received a call back. I then called the companies main line and left a message with them but never received a call back from them either. I find it very unprofessional to not follow up with customers.

Revision - Shortly after posting this review I received a call from GSD expressing their sincere apologies. It was explained to me that they recently shut down some branches and let go of several employees whom in turn destroyed records. Although the employee I dealt with, Christine Cummins, was still employed with GSD (which didn't explain the no call no show to my appointment) I decided to give them one more chance. The representative that showed up, Jim Henderson, was very thorough and honest. As it turns out my roof was actually in good condition and only needs some minor repairs in which are not eligible to be filed as a claim through my insurance company. Jim insured me that the experience I had is not how GSD conducts business and would be passing his findings on to his superior.

Based ONLY on the interaction I had with the second representative am I editing my review. Had I dealt with Jim to begin with I am sure my experience would have gone much differently. I do not think it reflects very good on GSD for having an employee such as Christine whom (a) suggests a new roof is needed when it is not (b) insists the job will be eligible to be filed as a claim with insurance when in fact it is not and (b) Does not show up to appointments or even return calls.

When I first met Zach and Andrew they were in my neighborhood replacing a neighbors roof. I asked them to inspect my roof to check for hurricane damage. I was very impressed with how thorough that they were with the inspection. They then proceeded to explain to me the entire insurance process and how it worked. They provided me and my insurance carrier estimates for all of the damages. They were also kind enough to be there when the adjuster came to inspect. They were successful in getting my roof approved for full replacement.
It only took 1 day for their 12 man crew to have my roof torn off. The tiles were literally delivered the following day and were loaded the day after. They then proceeded to have my roof installed the following week and I could not be any happier with the results. Truly a wonderful company and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

First of all the owner of this company is totally awesome and professional is right hand lady Christine she is the most awesome woman I've ever worked with in my whole life and I've been in the business for 58 years I moved here from Buffalo New York but I'll tell you what if you want any kind of work done if you don't call this company you're a fool again asked for Christine She is totally awesome and she does a great job and she make sure she has nobody but the best so all I can tell you is this company is great

I called GSD construction when my homeowners insurance notified us of some shingles that needed minor repair but we needed licensed roofers to complete the job per their request. I called at 5pm and they were at my house the next morning by 9:30am. I spoke with Jeremy and Eric, both were very friendly, understanding, and once Eric arrived I told him where the problem was.... not only did he fix that area but went around the entire roof and secured shingles that were faulty that the insurance didn’t spot. They really worked with us on pricing and seemed to take pride in the quality of work they do. I will 100% recommend them to anyone and will be using them from here on out.

Can't say enough about this company and their people! Their professionalism and courtesy is the reason they are a five star company!! I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family! Thank you GSD Construction.

From the first meeting with Vlad and Jeremy I liked these guys. They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive. They said what they are going to do and our roof was done within a week and a half of contracting them. The installers did a great job. It’s hard to find a good contractor in Florida, these guys definitely got it done. Will recommend

Gsd is helping me prepare for the hurricane. Their main installer Niko does great work. He will be on standby to tarp my roof if needed.

GSD recently helped me work with insurance company to get a great new roof! These guys(Jim and John) were the best! They were here most of the time when crews were working. They wanted to make sure that we got the best roof possible. Very professional, courteous and kept me in the loop through the entire process!! I highly recommend this company!

Received an estimate the same day i called. Vladimir was very professional and polite. Repaired my roof the next day. Cost of repair was very affordable. Gsd is a great company.

Vlad was awesome! So efficient, friendly, took photos of all the repairs we needed after completion. He had another guy with him, don’t know his name but I’ll say the same for him. If you need roof repairs, please call GSD, you will not be disappointed!

GSD has been doing all of our tile, metal and TPO flat roofs for the last 2 years. They are great to work with. There crews are fast and efficient and clean up well. You can't go wrong with them on difficult projects. They make hard jobs look easy! Jeremy really stays on top of his crews!
