We had HORRIBLE weather in Lubbock this past week. Greenleaf reached out to inspect our roof and exterior. As young homeowners we appreciated Garret coming out and checking everything. Garret was honest with us and let us know that we had a few dings but nothing that warranted a new roof just yet. He did let us know about some things we needed to take care of to avoid headaches in the very near future and we really appreciated that!! Garret treated us like a friend would and even though we aren’t excited about needing a new roof at some point in the future (West Texas weather!!!), we are glad we found a company that will take care of us and be honest through the process.

We had a fantastic experience with Ian at GreenLeaf Roofing. After some storms in March, we needed a full roof replacement. Ian came out to inspect the same day — especially impressive since a previous roofing company had looked and never followed up.

Ian was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, providing regular updates and making everything easy and stress-free. He wasn’t salesy or pushy, just straightforward and helpful. Pleased with having used Green Leaf to repair an on going leak we have had over the years. Malachy was great to work with. He was knowledge in his area of work and most importantly worked with us on the issue going above and beyond which I can appreciate given all the headaches we had delt with the previous roofer. The previous roofer did not address this issue from the beginning, his roofing business went under, and despite sending other roofers to help, the issue was never resolved... The flashing around the chimney was never replaced and sent out other people to fix the issue. This included re-flashing around the chimney. Despite this fix, the leak still occurred. Malachy and his group were able to determine where the leak was occurring after removing the flashing previously installed by the other roofer and was pretty evident the install was poorly done. Green Leaf took everything down to the roof sheeting and re-flashed everything back up to fix this leak. Their quality of work is very evident as they even fork their own heavy duty lap flashing. Going with a slightly taller lap flashing and properly installing all the layers below to water proof solved our issue and have been please to announce no water has been seen. I would highly recommend working with Green Leaf as they have been around for some time now, and seem to know their stuff.

This review is about 2 months late but this company definitely earned an outstanding review. I was in the process of selling my house in Richardson and during the option period the buyers inspector found roof damage. There was a roofer from a different company that came out and made me think he was trying to make me complicit in some kind of insurance fraud scheme. Either way, that guy was a hard pass and I wasn’t going to let him do anything with my house. Then Ian came over to give the roof a look, on a Sunday nonetheless, and was a breath of fresh air. He was honest, telling us what he saw that looked okay and what would need to be replaced. When he and his crew came out, they were punctual, efficient, and got the job done in the same day (1600 sq ft) and cleaned everything up before they left. I even went out and looked to make sure. Couldn’t have been happier with the process and quickness from start to finish. I even referred Ian to my father in law. You can’t go wrong with Greenleaf Roofing!

We had a small leak causing the cement slab on the corner of the house to be slightly wet. Multiple plumbers had been looking for the leak over a 2-3 year period. Recently it was mentioned that the wet slab may possibly be the result of a roof leak. We had a new roof, gutters and downspouts installed by Andrew Ziegenfelder, Project Coordinator of Greenleaf Roofing in December of 2020 so we did not think the wet slab was being caused by a roof leak. However, just to be sure and to continue eliminating possible causes of the wet slab, we asked Andrew of Greenleaf to check for any possible roof leaks. Andrew thoroughly inspected the exterior of the roof above the spot where the slab was wet. He found no roof leaks. He then crawled up inside the attic to the spot above where the slab was wet and saw no roof or eave leak issues. To be absolutely sure, Andrew had a person with a large water hose pour water on the outside of the roof to “simulate” a heavy rain while he was up in the attic looking for leaks. Andrew also recorded a video showing no interior attic roof and eave leaks while water was pouring down on the outside of the roof. Andrew’s personal and professional efforts allowed us to eliminate a roof leak as a possible cause of the wet slab.

Note: after continued slab leak detection efforts by a professional plumber, the 2-3 year slab leak was found and repaired.

Andrew Ziegenfelder, Project Coordinator of Greenleaf Roofing replaced the roof, gutters, and downspouts on our home in Flower Mound, TX in December 2020 which was damaged by an earlier hail storm. I honestly thought customer service was a thing of the past. Ian would actually be the kind of person I would have gone after if I still owned a business. I referred Ian to several neighbors and will continue to. Your not going to find a company better then Greenleaf!

Our roof was done the summer of 2021. Besides leaving dirty areas around the house , they have to come back at least twice because when it rained we got a leak inside the house.
It has been several months since a called them again this year 2022 the first time and no shown then i have called them multiple times because when it rains water is damaging the walls. They have come with one excuse after the other the last ones being to hot. They said their roof had a 10 year warranty. I will probably have to hire another company and pay out of my own pocket to fix their mess.

Well just want to clarify that after the first review , they did responded and they came and fixed the problem with the leaking last week so I changed my review. Now it’s raining and water is no longer dripping from the walls . The last person I deal with had an excellent attitude and was very professional. He kept me informed and I was very please with his attitude and attention to the matter.

Great experience! Ian was patient, conscientious, and thorough. I felt my best interest were in mind the entire time. The install was clean and they recommended some changes in flashing and valleys to better divert the water. Super happy with the work and price point!

Ian went out of his way to find someone to remove our solar panels after Tesla gave us a 3 month wait for an appointment in spite of our leaky roof. He answers when you call him and follows up on whatever he has done. Our roof was installed quickly and all expenses were clearly explained.

Green Leaf and Ian's team did an amazing job with our fence. We had a small fence project in the fall, which turned out so well. Now, we were looking to fix up some broken posts, update rotted wood, and give the whole fence a good clean and stain. Ian was my first call. They did such an amazing job and were super communicative throughout. They didn't call the job done until we were fully satisfied. Our fence looks like new, and it makes me so happy each time I go outside.

After a great experience with our roof installation a couple years ago, I found out that Greenleaf was expanding to other exterior services. Ian at Greenleaf bid our backyard fence project and based on past experience, we hired them to build our 8 foot, board on board cedar fence. It turned out awesome!
