Green Solutions Remodeling

Green Solutions has done several projects for me, all of which exceeded my expectations. Unlike other contractors I have dealt with, they are easy to work with, especially as the scope of work changed several times along the way. It was no problem for them and they did not take advantage of the situation by inflating the price as a result.They are real pros who know exactly what they are doing. They communicated with me every step of the way and followed up to be certain I was 100% satisfied- which I absolutely was. Every job I used them for was done right the first time, and I have never needed a return visit to correct anything. I would highly recommend Green Solutions and look forward to doing business with them again soon!

Green Solutions is a great company. This is third project I used them for. I needed a new bathroom and they really came through for me. They gave me a great price, did professional work, and I'm really happy with the result. My other two projects were the same. They built me a great rooftop deck and replaced my other roof. It's great to know I have an honest company to work with. Thanks again Green Solutions.

We made a huge mistake choosing greensolutions to remodel our bathroom and replace our basement door it took this company almost a year to get the work 98 percent finished never showed up on consistent time or days paint on my driveway tape marks on my hardwood floors bad customer service makes excuses why things could not get done halfway into the job Ira started calling me to release the payment he harassed cursed me i ask him to stop by to look at the job he refused they replaced door frame over hole in concrete door still leaks we called multiple times 1st lie the floor was cracked 2nd lie the drain was clogged 3rd lie the foundation was damaged the bathroom the light bar hangs to low the towel bar hangs to low the shower doors keep sliding open the side of the vanity has damage to it. We complained they started sending employees on my property without our permission supervisors was harassing me by text we had to make police report. They received all the money and we are left with a mess. Do not let the commercial fool you.

I made an appointment with Joe Matulonis. Not only did he no call/no show, when I called to find out if he was running late or needed to reschedule the company gave me the runaround before saying that “someone in my household” had cancelled the appointment. I am the only person in my household and I took time off of work for this appointment…I was willing to chalk the missed appointment up to “mistakes happen” but the last thing I want in a contractor that will be doing work on my house is someone who will make a mistake and then lie to cover it up. I probably dodged a bullet.

Green Solutions did a fantastic job with drywall in my apartment. Very knowledgeable workers that were willing and able to make it just the way I wanted. My wife and I are very happy and grateful for this company to help out with our needs.

If you need new widows, stop now, you’ve found your people! We had a bow window installed and our experience with Green Solutions has been wonderful. Everyone from the owner, to the men who installed the window were fabulous. Joe was our sales rep and he was great to work with. Very transparent and open communication. Joe came out before and after the install to ensure we were satisfied. The men who installed the window were kind, fast, and efficient. Of note, they cleaned up afterwards which I always appreciate. The quality of the window is excellent and the pricing was very fair. Will definitely be using them again! *this is not a paid review. I am a real customer*

Green Solutions truly excelled in their roofing project for me. From initial consultation to final installation, their timely and clear communication made the entire process stress-free. The installation team was professional, punctual, and left my property neat and tidy. Do yourself a favor and hire this company. This company was outstanding to work with from start to finish. We had 18 new windows installed and I can’t recommend their services enough. From the very first interaction to the installation of our windows, they were kind, patient, and very clean with the install. They showed up on time and ready to work which is a blessing now a days with contractors. Will you find someone cheaper? Maybe. But you get what you pay for, and we paid a company whose been around for 67 years which should tell you enough. Happy we went with Green Solutions!

We just had our entire front entry replaced (storm door, entry door, all framing, jambs, transom, sidelights, along with some wood repair (Jan 30-Feb 02 2023). Everything was superior from start to finish. First of all Ron, our sales professional was simple the best. He was caring, knowledgeable, patient and polite. He reviewed all of the parts and steps involved prior to us signing the contract and checked in multiple time to make sure everything was going well. The installers, Dave and Randy were AMAZING. This was an extensive job and they made it look easy! They also were patient with my questions, professional and polite. The quality of workmanship in the materials used is unbelievable - very solid and well made. The work area was clean of debris when they left. I highly recommend Green Solutions!

We had 21 windows replaced on the farmhouse we purchased last year. After doing my research, I had five companies provide estimates. Quality and value made Green Solutions stand out above all others. The insulation their product provides is unmatched. We live on a busy road and the noise reduction their windows provide means I no longer sleep with a noise machine!

They were flexible to work with, I had company arrive from out of town and needed to reschedule my install date, it was not a problem! And the install team was fantastic - Mike and Don and Dave were friendly, approachable, and professional. They left the floors under my windows cleaner than when they arrived!

I opted for built in blinds instead of window grids (the price is about the same) and my only regret is that I did not do this sooner! I’ve attached pics: the upstairs center hall window has the blinds fully open. I’ll never clean blinds again. I cannot recommend Green Solutions enough!

Spam caller - said they were "in my neighborhood" doing work. Would not tell me how they got my number and hung up. They were not polite and they called me!

If they show this lack of professionalism and tact on the job, I would avoid them like the plague. God only knows how rude they are when you have a problem with their work.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. The quality of work was great. I would highly recommend Green Solutions.

Green Solutions recently finished our 1300 square foot basement and did an absolutely wonderful job. From start to finish, Ira and his team (Harry, Tommy, Ken, Oren, and Dynamo Electric) were professional, great communicators, and on-time every time. This contractor went above and beyond for us and the basement turned out perfect. No job ever goes 100% exactly how the owner wants it, but when we communicated with Ira, him and his team bent over backward to make our experience a great one. I highly recommend Green Solutions Remodeling as a home contractor.

I recently had the entire Siding of my end unit townhouse replaced by Green Solutions Remodeling. Ira assisted with the insurance claim and his price was great compared with the quotes I received from other companies. Our interaction from start to the completion of the job was great. End product turned out fantastic. The project went over schedule and over budget, so just take the time to be clear and over communicate your needs. The team worked hard while they were here, and adapted well to any change requested.

Everything so far has been great! We still have a ways to go but I,m sure everything will be good!

My sales rep, Eric, and the entire team at Green were great to deal with. I had received 4 quotes and they weren't the cheapest but decided to go with them based on there history and being the oldest remodeler in the state. They actually finished my project early!

My experience with Green Solutions Remodeling was excellent. I had windows replaced and a new front door. It all looks terrific! The job was done in a timely manner and customer service was very receptive to my questions. I would recommend them for your next home inprovement project.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience I had with Green Solutions Remodeling. I needed my bathroom remodeled to become handicap accessible for myself. They came out, showed me a wonderful design with my safety in mind and at an affordable price. The installer Tim did an amazing job. He came the same time everyday, my wood floors and steps were protected all the way to the bathroom. He cleaned up everyday when he left. I was kept informed of the process. I was given the most beautiful handicap accessible bathroom I could have ever ask for. The white tiles all the way to the ceiling are elegant, the shower is extremely large. They had safety in mind for me, from the shower base, the pull down shower head and the grab bars being placed exactly where I need them. Easy open beautiful shower door. Their work is perfection! You guys have made this 83 year old lady able to remain safely in the home that she loves! I Thank Tim and Green Solutions Remodeling from the bottom of my heart.I will be using your services again and have already recommended you to my family and friends.

Professional and courteous company who actually gives you the time of day and that personable feel that so many other companies lack. Joe and Ira I have had personal experience with and was made to feel like a "person" and not just another customer. Plenty of experience throughout the company makes me feel comfortable recommending to anyone!!

Takes so long and poor customer services!! Wish I had read these reviews before signing the contract. Looks like several other people have had similar experiences. Read on for details of our saga:

We hired Green Solutions and paid 3x what other contractors were asking because they said that they would get the work done within 5-6 weeks. Well, it's week 9, and the work has still not even been started. The materials were just ordered on January 30th, even though we were told they were ordered on Dec. 15th. When I called requesting some money back, I was met with a bunch of excuses (valid ones, but excuses nonetheless) instead of caring customer service. We received zero contact from anyone at Green Solutions about the delay in a starting date. I had to call/ text multiple times and the response was always "we'll be starting in the next week or two." Today, they guaranteed me they would finish tomorrow, but they said by the end of the week last week, and then they said by Monday on Friday, so who knows. In the process of trying to get some money back and/or going to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. BTW, I paid $7,000 for this sub-par service when others quoted me $2,500. Go with the cheaper option next time...they'll finish in the same amount of time and they will also be a hassle to work with, but you'll only have paid 1/3 of the price.

We had a screened enclosure installed by Morris remodeling in 2012. Found out that Green Solutions retained some of their crews when Morris retired. We had our screened enclosure converted into a year around room. The work took a little longer than expected but it came out real nice. I tried to leave a new review, but I can only update this one. We had a tree limb come through our roof, Green Solutions was able to patch up the hole quickly and get a crew out to replace the section of roof. Having the work done 2 days after Christmas was great.

Just had a total kitchen remodel with Green Solutions and could not be happier! Everything looks amazing and they were a pleasure to deal with. They have fair pricing and were a pleasure to have in my home. I will for sure be using them again for all my home improvement projects.
Edited to add: We are now working on our 3rd large project with Green Solutions and absolutely could not ask for a better company to deal with. They are so knowledgeable and do business with integrity. They make sure everything is done properly and to your satisfaction the first time. I never feel taken advantage of. Will continue to use them for everything as we slowly build our forever home into our dream home.

I had Green Solutions Remodeling replace the roof on my Williamsburg Cape Cod.. Ira the remodeler and Howard the general manager were conscientious is seeing that the roofing job was done right... Thanks

Stay AWAY from Green Solutions Remodeling. My door took 5 months before it was finally installed, only cost $5500. It came to my house 2 separate times ready for install and it was made wrong because GSR didn’t clearly communicate the door to them. Finally, the 3rd time it could be installed. I then had to have them come back out to adjust a plate because the installers left a gap. Then it took another month to have the surround put up. During every issue, I had to call them to follow up. They didn’t manage the project, I did. They didn’t keep me updated, I had to contact them.
Now the caulking is pealing off the painted aluminum. Its been 1 month and still no word on when it will be installed. STAY AWAY. Finally, I am working with Ira, and he didn’t do the follow ups he said he would do. Still haven’t heard from him or his team like I was supposed too.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. NOW I WRITE MY REVIEW. They chose not to do their follow ups after I complained directly to them. Shows they DON’T care.

Ira Libowitz ,the guy to go to when you have any projects with your home ,roof, siding,doors ,decks,sunrooms,kitchen ,bathrooms this company does it all licensed #3 in Maryland ,the top of Angie's list ,just great guys n employees are all very helpful .

We discovered our "four seasons sunroom" was leaking after we purchased our home. We were directed by "four seasons sunroom" to call Green Solutions because they were the affiliate in the area. It took several calls to have them respond to my house to look at the sunroom. And after they came they said they would email me a price quote for fixing the issue. This was 2 years ago, and I have never received the email. I would highly advise against using this company. I tried calling numerous times and they stopped returning phone calls. I guess my money wasn't good enough for them. And I would call someone else, but they are the only company contracted to fix these sunrooms in the area.

Green Solutions has done several jobs for us. One was a wrap-around porch and the other major job was a new roof. Both jobs were done beautifully. The workers were friendly and punctual, the job was done well and the price was right! We will use them again.
