Dave is responsive, thorough and honest. He replaced an aluminum piece that blew off my house due to excessive winds. He also installed a piece that was damaged due to a botched security camera install. Great job!

Speaking with David directly, seeing his work on a neighbor's house left me confident that Garner Roofing was the right persons for the job. I needed repair and replacement of several pieces of siding that were melted over the years by reflective heat, and a couple pieces that blew off in recent storms. David was able to complete the work in the afternoon, and most importantly, matched our siding color and style. Excellent work and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you, David!

This is a top-notch company. The owner, Mr. Dave is soft-spoken, very pleasant, professional, and very knowledgeable of his craft. I immediately liked him. He arrived on time and gave me a detailed assessment of my gable vent issue that I could understand. He fixed the problem in no time and even checked to reassure me that there was no beam damage under the roof. He also walked around to ensure all on the other side was secure. I was quite pleased and would definitely use his services for any home improvement issues again. Highly recommend!!

I liked working directly with the owner David, he was respectful, professional, and didn't try to sell me a lot of other stuff. We got a new roof and gutters, the price was the lowest but not so low that I worried about a shoddy job. They protected my property and accommodated our needs. The job was done quite well and David took my housemate around the house to answer any questions he had. Communication was great. They had the best clean up routine I've ever seen. I highly recommend them.

This review is incredibly overdue, but I wanted to make sure I had the time to really write out what a wonderful experience we had working with Garner Roofing & Remodeling. We had our whole house re-sided by Garner, and from Day 1 they have been incredible to work with. The owner of the company is heavily involved - you aren't going to feel like you've been cast to the side or discarded. He worked with us through multiple unanticipated life events, and was really patient and understanding with us when we were slow to respond.

There were delays in supplies - which we fully expected - but he kept us up to date the whole way and never gave us a false timeline to appease us. His honesty and communication skills are far above what I have experienced with other companies.

They did an amazing job. I have multiple family members who work in construction and they have all commented on how incredible the siding looks - how they took the time to pay attention to the little details, like lining up the panels. They went above and beyond what they had to do to ensure everything was done right. They removed all the old cedar siding, they wrapped the whole house in Tyveck. They left the yard as clean as could be reasonably expected given the magnitude of the project. We've been through several storms/hail/etc. by now and the siding still looks brand new. In fact, it looks so much better we had multiple family members drive past our house the first time they showed up after we had it done.

The workers were courteous and polite and we honestly hardly realized they were there (other than the obvious banging on the wall that had to occur as part of the process). They worked reasonable hours, and they got the job done faster than I would have thought possible. Dave made sure to double check our selections before ordering the materials, to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Finally - the reason this review is so late (they finished up last June) - is because they kindly asked for a review once and left it at that, which in my opinion shows a great deal of character. I hate feeling pressured to leave reviews, and often times find that reviews can't be trusted because of how pressuring companies are. I've had companies literally stand over us while we leave reviews.

My only complaint is that they can't complete all of our home improvement needs, because this was the best company I have worked with in over a decade of owning a home.

Absolutely A+ company. I've used them for both roof repairs and roof replacements. Always great work and very affordable. Never any problems of any kind.

We had a messy roofing problem from a previous contractor who cut a few corners which lead to leaks. We had a number of roofing companies come out to look at it and it was clear that Garner was best in class. Dave spent so long climbing all over our roof, addressing the issues, identifying new ones we did not know about and giving us a quote. He was incredibly responsive while the work was happening, and the crew was fast and did a top notch job cleaning up. I wish we had gone with him the first time!

I was impressed with Garner Roofing and Remolding from the start. The owner Dave came to my house to give me the estimate. He walked around the house looking at the entire roof. I asked if he was to measure it; he said he uses a high tech app for accuracy so he doesn't over estimate materials resulting in possible overcharge. The crew was professional and did an excellent job. Before my final payment, Dave asked if I was happy with the job. I said happy enough to give a 5 star Google review!

Hired them to fix a portion of my roof which was leaking due to improper installation and materials used. Dave came out and gave determined the correct materials to use and his guys did a great job. Highly recommend them and will use again. Price was also very fair based on what they had to install

The owner of the business came to give us the estimate. He was kind super easy to work with and we could not be happier. The work was done quickly and looks amazing! We came in way under budget and the final cost was thousands let’s then the other company’s that gave us quotes.

Dave & his team gave me a very fair quote to replace my roof and the actual amount due was almost identical to the quote. The work was done quickly and with quality and he was easy to communicate with. I've actually told friends & family about him after my roof was completed and now they're using him too!

Updated review: Dave installed a new roof for us. It looks great. Dave was great at communicating through the process and it was easy to work with him. He also wrapped dentil molding with color matched aluminum to create a maintenance free more modern look. I'd recommend calling Dave for all your roofing, gutter, and siding needs.

It all started with the friendly voice when I phoned Garner Roofing. A few days later, Dave Garner was at our home giving us fair estimates for various roofing options, as well as, gutter and gutter guard options. 2 weeks later, the roofers were here removing the old and installing the new roofing. They were very efficient and had our roofing installed in 1 day along with making sure the job site was pristine. 1 week later, the new gutters and gutter guards were installed.
We are very pleased with our new roof and would highly recommend the locally owned and operated business of Garner Roofing.

A little late on this review, but here it is. David Garner came recommended from a colleague. He inspected my roof (actually climbed up), I told him what I was looking for, and his team delivered. He didn't do the 90 minute presentation or insist "all homeowners be present" like some companies do. Costs were reasonable and competitive and even when I there was a slight issue post job, David came and repaired it PERSONALLY. Garner roofing is my roofer of choice.

The company replaced the roof in my home, including 3 skylights. The proposal they submitted was clear and concise. After a couple interactions, we finalized the contract's conditions and arrive at a reasonable price. The work was completed according to the contract and on schedule. Mr. Garner and the company's workers were timely, helpful, and respectful. I am glad I hired Garner Roofing & Remodeling and recommend them highly.

These guys did an incredible job replacing our old slate roof with synthetic slate on our historic home in Guilford, MD. There were a couple slight incidental damages to our property as is expected with any work project that is this large and involved and they quickly and effectively resolved those issues. We're quite pleased with the outcome and their quality of service and the reasonable pricing. We would recommend this company to all.

I first hired Garner Roofers in 2010 and then later in 2012. These were probably small jobs for them but a major endeavor for me as a single female homeowner. Mr. Garner was very professional but friendly and made me feel comfortable about the work and charges he proposed.
In 2019 I had a significant leak in my roof and let a high-rated roofer send someone to my home who proceeded to tear up the roof to give the appearance of non-existent damages. Fortunately, my insurer detected this handy work. I found Mr. Garner still in business and the same kind and caring gentlemen I trusted in the past, as he walked me through his diagnosis of the problem. It’s been about 6 months since the job was completed, internal damages have been repaired and despite the heavy rains/high winds experienced this spring and summer, my home is dry and safe. I highly recommend Garner roofing based on my three experiences with them. I caution everyone, especially those replacing a roof for the first time, to purchase the best roofing products you can afford. This is an important purchase you expect to last a very long time.

I needed new roofs & gutters. I had estimates from 5 companies.

Dave Garner & I did a walk-around of my house, carport & garage, inside the attics & outside on the rooftops. Some estimators did not inspect my attics or rooftops, only taking measurements from the ground. Dave was very informative, touching on all the points of the previous estimators collectively. He was easy-going, sincere, and professional. He recommended things other estimators had not, including a higher quality shingle, yet his price was lower than some.

I explained to Dave I was a Do-It-Yourselfer, and he shared info on how to improve attic ventilation. While the work was being done, I was handling some outside home improvements, and when I had questions, the workers did not answering them. A couple concerns did arise, but they were handled quickly, professionally and to my satisfaction. All work was started & completed when promised. My new roof has received many compliments from my neighbors.

During the whole process, Dave and I spoke several times, on the phone & in person, often going off the roofing topic. I found Dave to be pleasant, nice, and an all-around good guy. I highly recommend him.

We knew we needed a new roof in the next 3 years, so when we found a leak near a skylight we started asking for recommendations. David Garner came highly recommended, and he did not disappoint! He was patient and professional throughout the entire process. After coming out to review the leak and give us an estimate, he walked me through the entire process from start to finish with pictures. He was thorough and patient in his explanation and was more than happy to answer all of my questions. The process after that was efficient and seamless. He dropped off a sample board of colors in the roof materials we chose, and he was readily available through email, text, and calling to answer any questions I had. His supplier left a divot in our lawn and didn't coordinate the drop off of materials, but when the roof was done all of those problems were fixed - including the divot in the lawn! I highly recommend David and Garner Roofing & Remodeling!

I was very impressed that the owner, David Garner, came himself to inspect my roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable about what I needed and he conveyed to me very valuable information.

Garner Roofing did our roof last fall (2019). We live in a house built in 1895, with several complex gables and valleys, as well as several layers of very old roofing shingles that needed to be removed. His crew did an excellent job with removal and adding the new shingles. I would highly recommend Garner Roofing.

We did need a gutter replacement. What we didn’t foresee was how much better the house looks since Garner Roofing completed the work.

We have had a lot of contractors for various home projects over the years and, sincerely, Garner is the only one I'd ever recommend to a friend or family member. Garner has now completed two large jobs for us, our roof in 2015 and, after that positive experience, we engaged them again for our siding/shutters/gutters this year.

Garner was the most cost-effective company out of several quotes for both projects and both jobs were completed promptly and professionally. Even after we had paid in full, David returned to our home to make slight adjustments we requested, without question or cost.

I wish they offered more services, but perhaps their specialization is why they're able to perform what they do so well.

Garner Roofing did the roof of our house in 2011, before we moved in (it's a Baltimore rowhouse with a flat asphalt roof). We recently needed warranty service and David came promptly; he was thoughtful and diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. Highly recommend!

Garner had the best pricing for our new roof and gutters. No high pressure sales techniques, just straightforward assessment. The job was completed on time with no fuss or excuses. Easy to deal with, would definitely recommend.

Used Garner for our roof, which was done very well and we are completely satisfied. Reached out to them for gutter work because I liked the company. Set up an appointment, took off work, and confirmed the day of the appointment the guy would show up. I have a newborn so I told him I may not be able to meet him outside but informed him of the issue with the gutters. He said he would come take a look and follow up. Did he show up? Not that I am aware of as I was watching outside and dogs didn't bark. No follow up call regarding repair work or anything. We'll be looking to do siding in the next year, but we wont be looking here.

My roof is complicated because it has several gables and it's very steep. Not only was the price fair, but tbe work was done excellently. One gutter helmit needed attention after the roof was finished and the boss came out the next day to fix the problem. Highly recommend this company.

These guys do some quality work. I saw the pictures on the website and was impressed, but my roof looks even better in person! Would recommend to anyone considering roofing services in and around Baltimore.
