Great Lakes Ace - Chelsea, MI

I always shop here when I need hardware for any project. Ace has never failed me as a hardware store. They have everything from screws, to mowers, to garden hoses. They have every bolt and nut you can think of in metric and standard. Surprisingly they also have decent snacks here. I would give this hardware store a 10 out of 10. They are like a mini Home Depot.

I had an immediate need for a battery for my key fob. I was hoping not to have to drive to the out-of-town dealership, and I am not good with technology, so I stopped at the Ace Hardware to see if they could help.
Indeed they could. The man at the counter used his computer to check details, and he was careful not to damage the fob. I was so grateful for the assistance. This would never happen at a big box store.

Nice hometown hardware store. Had most of the things I was looking for, staff was around and, friendly. They just didn't tell me what isle to look in but, went with me to see if the store had what I wanted.

Ace > Home Depot or Lowes. For most things at least. They don’t have everything but they have the best of everything they have.

Best place for hardware. Especially stainless steel nuts and bolts for the harley. Great paint selection, love just looking around,you will find stuff you didn't know you needed!

I cannot say enough about how helpful this team is! They are AMAZING. Incredible customer service - they go above and beyond in every way to help with a wide variety of hardware and home needs. I love supporting this local business and benefiting from their genuine efforts to help. The store also has a surprising variety of merchandise for many different household needs.

Nice little store, that has a lot of the normal things you need. It's small so they don't have everything and are significantly higher priced then places like Lowes or Menards but it's nice to have close. The staff is friendly and helpfull.

Friendly helpfull staff helped me locate the parts i was looking for. The staff was very knowledgeable on the parts i needed to install my new dishwasher. They knew exaxtly what i meeded and where to find everything. I got a coupon in the mail from the ace rweards program and saved a bunch of money also.

Big store, rent a carpet shampooer. Set back is they are independent franchises so rewards don't carry through with all them.

Mark in paint went the extra mile to help me mix up the color I needed. Really felt he went the extra mile.

Got a copy of my VW Jetta key , they were so quick !! Im so gratefull with the old guy that help me out! Thanks!
