Customer reviews for Gray Line Roofing largely reflect a positive sentiment, emphasizing excellent customer service, punctuality, and quality work. Many customers appreciated the straightforward communication and lack of sales pressure during the initial consultation. While most experiences were favorable, there were a few concerning reviews regarding misleading information about inspection fees and inadequate assessment processes. Overall, the majority found their interactions professional and the services provided dependable.
- They showed up again on time and did exactly what they said they would.
- The quality of their work is top-notch, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do.
- Everyone at Gray Line is caring and considerate.
- The entire team of workers was phenomenal, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication to their work.
- There was no hard sell, they truly wanted to do what was right for me and my investment.
- I did not appreciate not being warned that the salesperson would not even go on the roof to inspect.
- The person who came on Monday had no ladder to access the roof and started pitching solar panels.
- They warned about a $69 fee for the 'free' roof inspection that was not previously disclosed.

The people at Gray Line Roofing were great from beginning to end. They came out on time gave me an estimate, no sales pressure just straight forward and to the point. When I decided to use them, they explained every step of the repair and scheduled the day and time for the repair. They showed up again on time and did exactly what they said they would. They were respectful of my property and cleaned up after they finished. The price they gave me was the cheapest of the 3 quotes I got and it stayed as quoted. No surprise price increase the day of the job. I will recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.

Website advertises “free” roof inspections but when they call to schedule, they warn about a $69 fee, which can be applied to your total if you decide to get services done. I did not appreciate not being warned that the salesperson (Stephen) who was sent out was not even going to personally go on the roof to inspect a small leak from a rainstorm, but he was quick to mention how he could fly a drone over our roof for $199. The person scheduling my inspection didn’t mention the person coming to my home wouldn’t be actually getting on my roof to inspect it, or that I might be subject to additional drone fees. Furthermore, they did not specify that the repair would most definitely not be completed at the time of the inspection. Lesson learned, consumer beware! I did not get a good vibe, and also from the short visit (Stephen did not even get on the roof or take pictures), I was quoted $2300 verbally for the repair, although an entire roof replacement was ultimately recommended. I will choose to take my business to a company more transparent up front!

Grey Line Roofing is a top notch, more than fair pricing company that I would absolutely recommend to anyone (and have). My roof leaks were fixed extremely quickly preventing any further damage to my brush textured ceilings. I cannot say one thing bad about Darren and his crews. They were awesome.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
