I’ve been a home owner for 13 years and German Reyes is the BEST contractor I’ve ever worked with. He and his team completed beautiful renovations on my upstairs bathrooms. They were professional, fast, accommodating and on budget. Give German a call. I can’t recommend him highly enough, you won’t be disappointed!

We worked with German on several projects for our Petworth rowhouse, including a front porch renovation and back yard with automatic garage door. We will go to him for all future renovation needs, he is reliable, his team does excellent high quality work, and prices seem very fair and transparent. Highly recommended.

I sought out multiple contractors through recommendations and Google searches to get quotes on putting in a new bathroom in our house. German was not only the nicest and most respectful contractor, he also understood our vision better than anothers. And his rates were reasonable.

We hired him and he got to work right away. The permitting process is a pain in Maryland. This took much longer than we anticipated, so the construction was delayed due to challenges with Maryland's process. German kept us informed along the way.

Once construction started, German and his crew were very respectful of our space and kind. We had a new baby and would let us know when they'd be there and what they'd be doing that day. They all did really great work. German is a perfectionist and made sure the work was done to the highest standards -- and he would redo things that weren't. From every detail with the paint to caulk to giving recommendations on what tile and colors would go best -- German does it all.

The bathroom and space turned out better than we expected. It looks incredible. We get lots of compliments on it and it was exactly how we visioned it to be (well, actually better haha).

I plan on continuing to work with German for other projects and recommending him to friends as well. He is communicative, honest, and a really really good contractor. Highly recommend.

German and his team did a great job. I had them do some waterproofing on my property, a new tub installation, and dry walling. I appreciated the quality of work and that they cleaned up each day. German stopped by all the time to check on the work and to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them for any general contracting work.

I had two bathrooms completely renovated; hardwood floors on one level and on two stairways refinished; ceiling fans and recessed lighting installed; and my three floor townhouse repainted. I was completely satisfied with the work done, including the work done to address unanticipated problems (e.g. replacing defective subfloors and pipe leaks.) German was responsive to my initial queries, including providing references, and his proposal was reasonable. Throughout the entire renovation, he was a pleasure to work with, frequently stopping by to oversee work done and any
needed follow up completed. His employees were efficient. They showed up timely, took steps to minimize dust etc. associated with renovation work, and cleaned up before they left every day. I would not hesitate using German and his team again and recommend him to anyone considering having reno work done.

Strongly recommend! They do fantastic work. We couldn't say more positive things about GR Contractors. They've done our skylight, front retainer wall repair, remodeled both upstairs bathrooms, demo-ed the backyard and built an incredible fence wired with additional smart lights. They’ve also done our kitchen remodel and wired the house with Ethernet cables inside the walls and painted rooms on every floor. We keep going back to this company. They care about doing quality work. They're on time every day - and German, the owner, follows through with what he says he'll do.

German is hardworking, honest, and professional. I was in need of repainting my house, as well as fixing an improperly built raised deck that was sagging under the weight of a roof. However, I was also on a budget and unsure how best to tackle the project. German was very patient and responsive in estimating several different options and scenarios to help me decide and prioritize. I appreciated not feeling pushed or rushed during that process, and ultimately hired him based on his knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I was happy I did, because he and his crew did a fantastic job with all of it. Not only did they complete the job within the amount of time they agreed to, but they also fixed other small things along the way as needed to ensure that the house looked its best. It was clear he’s not in the business of doing the bare minimum— he cares about making sure his customers are happy with the final result. Highly recommend.

I had GR contractors do a variety of projects around my home. They did I great job, offered good pricing, and really wanted to make us happy. I worked with German to make the arrangements and he was responsive and fast to get quotes over. I had them install ceiling fans and exterior power outlets on our front porch, stain/seal/repair our deck, and install a new exterior vent and hood/microwave in our kitchen. I would use them again and have already recommended them to my friends.

Highly recommend GR Contractors! When I was looking to renovate my bathroom, I spoke to 12 different contractors and chose GR Contractors due to the fair price, fast communication, and a short timeline of work. My complete bathroom renovation took 10 days, which included doing a few other random projects in my condo (painting a door, hanging blinds, installing a new fan). German was very communicative the whole time and everyone who was working were so nice. I had a disastrous experience with a contractor last year, so am thrilled to finally have found a good one with German.

I generally only use contractors from referrals. But I am grateful I did not do that this time. Researching on the internet I decided to look into a few companies. He was responsive to my request. But the great part is the work. German and his team are great. They do quality work and are very detail oriented. He uses the same team which makes it even better and consistent. They have all been really respectful of my house too. A lot of contractors don’t care about quality and/or the fact that you are in someone’s house. I will use him again without any doubt. In fact, his work on my house gets so many compliments that I needed a stack of his business cards because people keep asking.

I used GR Contractors for multiple projects in my new house including total gut on two bathrooms, new flooring, and enlarging two closets. German was very responsive and worked throughout the project to help customize solutions as needed based on improved ideas or constraints. The whole team was courteous and went out of their way to prioritize my timeline and paid attention to the little details ensuring everything was as aesthetically pleasing as possible. They are also very cost competitive. I would definitely use again.

The gentlemen did a fantastic job painting my place. There is a close attention to detail and they respect your home. Always arrived on time and completed the job when they said they would. I couldn’t ask for more.

German did a wonderful job re-doing my backyard. He is very detail oriented, does quality work and has a great aesthetic eye. He let me choose what I wanted but with very helpful guidance and made sure it turned out how I envisioned. They finished in under the time they quoted. I would highly recommend his services and will use him again for any future projects that come up.

My chain fence had been hit by someone in the backyard. The gate had to be repaired and new pole replaced and cemented. Cost was reasonable and communication was superb about delays created by parts needed. German Reyes cares about his work and not only did he do an excellent job, he went beyond the scope of work and fixed my other two poles so the fence looked even. I will call him again and use his company. Oh….he left no trash behind.

Mr. German Reyes of GR Contractors LLC and his team did an outstanding job of replacing my fence with a beautiful new one! I give Mr. Reyes and his team the highest possible recommendation! Mr. Reyes was very professional and punctual from our first meeting until the job was 100% complete. He came out to do an estimate and provided a detailed estimate in writing. He then gave me a thorough but easy to understand contract and asked for any corrections. There were just a few minor corrections which he made quickly and cheerfully. The job began and ended on the days stated and they started and finished on time every day. They used high quality materials, anchored every post in concrete and reinforced every connection to make it as sturdy as possible. The majority of the fence was wood, but HOA requirements are the front fence and gate, about 23 feet long, be metal. They did a beautiful job of fabricating it on-site. They also did a fantastic job of painting the metal fence. MUCH better than a well known local painting company did a few years ago! They put down a growing medium and grass seed EVERY place the lawn had been disturbed and included other details to make the fence beautiful and long lasting. They cleaned up thoroughly every day. Mr. Reyes personally worked at and supervise the job every day. I have gotten a lot of compliments from my neighbors. I will definitely use them in the future.

We got our basement door done from GR contractors and we really liked the work. They were professional and finished it on time. Highly recommended.

German is THE best contractor I have ever worked with. His prices are reasonable, he is reliable, responsible and an absolute perfectionist. He has singlehandedly repaired my house after 3 years of tenant occupancy. He has installed wall paper in both 2nd floor bedrooms and the first floor living room. He replaced windows in my house while I was working out of state and provided step-by-step pictures of their progress. He built a wonderful fence for my yard and a gorgeous brick walkway. He installed a post and a security camera to monitor my car port. On Christmas a pipe burst in my basement and he answered my call and was here the next day repairing the leak. He is a life saver and a phenominal contractor. He is the only call I make when it comes to my home.

Couldn't be happier with the work German and his team did on my foyer and powder room. The work ranged from installing new hardwood floors, wallpapering, painting and electrical work. Everyone involved with the job was professional, courteous and punctual - I will be calling German for all future home improvement projects.

German and his team are my go-to for all projects. I have been using them for over 2 years and the results are consistently great. His prices are very fair. He is responsive and has always taken care of my as a proirity - weekend or not- rain or shine - it doesn’t matter. He gets it done. Last year my water heater died in Christmas Day. The next day - he had installed a new one. German believes that if you can’t do a quality job, you should not do it. So rather than take jobs for the sake of of it-he will turn things down that are the wrong thing to do. I appreciate that about him. I have referred him personally to several people and they too are all repeat customers.

German and his team have been excellent to work with. He is very responsive and has done satisfactory work both times I've hired him, first to build a new fence and second to prep the yards and interior of a house for rental. I appreciated his ability to manage projects without my direct supervision and the flexibility on scheduling that he offered. His rates are reasonable, and I plan to work with him again in the future.

German and his team have done a great job on several projects for our rowhouse in Columbia Heights. Each time they’ve done great, timely work at a fair price. They’ve helped update and secure gutters and flashing on our garage, replaced and updated wood fencing on our walkways, and helped build protective covers over our basement window wells. They are our go-to contractors for condo projects.
