We used Gorilla Exteriors for a new roof, gutters and garage door. Korby was our main point of contact, and he was wonderful to work with. He helped explain everything to my husband and I, as this was our first time submitting a claim with our insurance. We have had no issues, and everything looks wonderful!

I have had two total roof replacements using Gorilla in the last 10 years (2 hail storms!). Both times they did all the negotiating with my insurance company. They had to push State Farm for larger gutters and a higher grade shingle b/c the ins adjuster did not account for that correctly - and Gorilla handled it all! And they gave me some free upgrades too! Love the finished product! Korby was great to work with and kept me informed during the project for roof and gutters.

Frustrating experience -- Korby said he met with my insurance adjuster and actually never showed up. Took 7 months for a repair to our ceiling that was damaged from the roofing crew.. Korby then waved an upcharge for shingles, then changed his mind , days later. Korby also committed to do some work at a rental home, took my bid from a competitor- 8 months later no effort to complete and has not returned my paper work-- guess he just did not want to do it.??? ....... The neighbors also complained he was slow to react-----

Baseball sized hail came through town in March of 2024 and caused major damage to our roof, gutters, deck and some other areas of our house. We have done business with Gorilla Exteriors before so there was no question who we would use again for this job. However, this time we got to work with Kolten Jegen. Kolten is very knowledgeable, professional, responsive and goes above and beyond expectations. He worked directly with our insurance company and made the whole process very easy for us. All we had to do was listen to what he said was going to happen and then it did. Kolten is a hard worker and cares very much about making sure his clients are happy and satisfied with the work. It never took more than a day (normally less than an hour or 2) to get a response to a phone call/text or email. I would recommend (and do) Kolten Jegen and Gorrilla Exteriors to anyone. Great company, great people, fantastic work!

We had Gorilla Exteriors come give us a. I’d on a new roof. We were in a bind and they came within four hours to look at our house. They came the next morning for an inspection and submitted it to the insurance company for hail damage. We were selling the house and the agent chose to go with another company. We cannot say enough good things! Every worker that came was so pleasant and attentive. They did an amazing job on everything! The communication was great, the people were great, and the work was great!

Worked with Christian who was very responsive when I would text a question. Lots of work after a major hailstorm and Gorilla made it easy to get everything done (roof, gutters, garage door, windows, paint) with one contractor. Work was done in a very timely fashion and looks great.

Christian was on my roof the morning after our hail storm at 8:30 am. From there, I had my estimate not long after and he said the work would be scheduled and they would start in about 2 weeks or so. 3 days later, they were delivering shingles and the supplies to do the roof. Christian called and said they would start Monday.

The crew showed up at 7:20 they Monday, were on the roof and had it stripped off and hammering down the felt paper at 8:45 and by 6:50 pm, they had everything done, trash and debris picked up and they were gone by 7:15. My house is about 26 square of shingles so that’s getting after it.

When it came to the gutters, they were prompt, efficient and they looked great.

Last, but not least, the garage door. The guy came out, put in an all new door, head rail, springs and tracks and did a fantastic job.

Overall, Christian took care of the details, dealt with the insurance, kept in contact with me, and time lines were either on time, or were quicker than expected. He made it easy, efficient and they exceeded my expectations. Super happy with the work and I didn’t have to worry about anything.

A few months back, a storm with heavy winds ripped shingles off our roof. We contacted Gorilla around 4 o’clock and received a text coordinating emergency tarp coverage within minutes. By 6 o’clock, Korby was in my driveway assessing the damage and putting a plan together. After that, he was absolutely relentless about holding our insurance provider accountable for the replacement of the entire roof no matter how long they stalled and tried to skate on their obligations. Once the selling phase began, he added value by suggesting various different products and approaches we could take as well as and upgrades and ongoing specials which helped us get the most longevity and aesthetics at a great price. Once the installation of the new roof began, he communicated and handled unexpected challenges, delays, and errors efficiently. He didn’t disappear once the job was sold. Instead, he managed and delivered the project all the way to and through the final 1%.

Gorilla Exteriors won’t have to sell me the next set of projects as long as Korby is there. I’ve already got doors and windows on deck with them and several more projects in the hole.

Christian & his team were great to work with. A large Oak branch fell on my mother's house, which necessitated roof & siding repair. Christian is a kind man with an eager to help, patient disposition. Very thorough in his explanations to me while we weighed our options. Christian immediately covered the hole in the roof on the day he came to look it over & offer a quote. Gorilla wasn't the first roofing company to come out. What a kind first impression. No other company offered to do that, much less do it right then with supplies he had on hand! I offered to pay him for that, but he said it was fine, we'd work it out later, whether or not his company got the contract. That cheerful willingness to help, & calm attitude that he wasn't pressuring me, he knew we'd take care of the cost regardless, was the first of many similar interactions with him. It was a pleasure!

Finished product was fine as it should be for the price you pay. But along the way was a massive headache : they broke part of our fence (they never told us about it, I had to notice first. Then the “repair” to the fence was a joke - slapped on a random 2x4 that wasn’t the same color and didn’t even cover up the entire broken part), left 2 holes wide open that went deep into our house during a storm, left a bunch of debris in the front and back yard, left multiple tools behind after job was completed, knocked off a wasp nest off the gutter but left it on the top step right in front of the main entrance, the main worker had a bad attitude, they also had zero courtesy in regards to communicating issues and when they were starting/stopping, they said the project would take 2 days (demolition and building) and ended up taking 7 days, the workers were hour(s) late I’m pretty sure every single day they came to work on the house, sharp and long nails were left in the back yard (we have multiple very young kids that are frequently in the back yard), and on completion they also left the backyard gate wide open without telling us (we have 2 dogs that easily would’ve ran away if I didn’t go check it all out first). After all of that, we ended up getting a whopping $70 discount off of our job that costed multiple thousands of dollars.

All in all, the job EVENTUALLY got done and the gutters and siding looked fine, again, as it should after the cost. But man, be ready for a potential disaster. The dude Xavier was really cool though.

Craig and his team are fast and friendly. We'll never go with anyone else for our outdoor projects.
