We completed our second project with Gooswing Timberworks last summer. Will designed and constructed a timber frame barn to our specifications. We requested a cupola as it reflects the Vermont barn vernacular we have admired in local older barns. Though he hadn’t built one before, as expected, he was up to the task. The process, from first conceptual meetings, through the shop-housed fabrication, delivery and raising the frame, to the final flying the cupola by crane to its final installation, was seamless.

The project was completed on time and on budget. The craftsmanship is impeccable. The design features are inspiring. Will Gusakov is an admirable proponent and executor of the exacting work of timber framing. He is an excellent communicator and can be relied on to deliver what he promises.

Without getting in to the details, suffice it to say that I had issues with my architect/builder and found myself in a full GC situation early in the process - with no real experience.

Will was clear and concise about the options I had, he patiently answered myriad questions along the way, he was very collaborative when it came to working with the other trades and he delivered exactly what he said he would, on time, with no surprise costs.
