The crew at Golden Gables provided a phenomenal experience. Responses to questions came in a matter of hours rather than days. They were the first group to arrive for an assessment, and were gracious enough to come out a second time to clear up some of my confusion. Explanations were honest and direct. I was kept up to date on material delivery after signing, and the team arrived exactly when they meant to. When the team found problems with my roof, they provided solutions rather than passing the buck to me. An all-around professional and enjoyable experience for a task I was very much not looking forward to.

Gabe gave me a detailed ipad generated bid within 48 hours. In response to my need for speed, (listing house asap), by moving me up within 10 days. He came out again to bring many shingle color samples, and answered all my questions, (best underlayment, shingle qualty, etc.), and helped me choose Owens Corning 50 year transferrable warranty.
His 7 year crew of 5 arrived at 6:50am on a 96 degree Saturday, and worked a continuous 14 hour day till completion. The cleanup was above and beyond. And now my humble ranch home looks brand new, the slightest silver/blue tint in some of the shingles accenting my trim perfectly. We went with Williamsburg Gray.
Having been a contractor myself for 42 years, and previously on Thumtack since its inception, i went for 2 contractors with 5 stars only. That’s something you can trust, as Gabe and crew proved. I couldn’t be happier.

Highly recommend Golden Gables for your roof. They were fast (less than 2 weeks between requesting a quote and installing the roof), inexpensive ($2k less than other quotes), and the install team was very polite and tidy.

Our new roof is amazing! We were part of the hail storm on 3/14 & the subsequent barrage of storm chasing roofers that were out looking for insurance bonanzas that followed. Thank goodness we didn't go with one of those companies! Golden Gables came out, weren't pushy and gave us a fair estimate. Then the next week they had our large, high pitched roof going on. Did a wonderful job on our roof. They ran into an unexpected problem after removing previous layer on roof but instantly worked around it and fixed everything in a timely manner that same day. They made sure our roof was safe and done properly. Everything looks great!
