I had been working with an Insurance Company for well over a year and a half. After getting different Roofing companies to give a bid, and insurance company rejecting those bids; I was blessed to find a Gold Standard Restorations, Inc. Consultant, Drew Klass.

Drew kept me up-to-date, he was knowledgeable and engaged with a fierce faithful customer service attitude in working my claim. Drew was an "A+" man of his word and was true to getting my claim closed.

The right name was given to this company Gold Standard! That is exactly what they are.

Drew, Brad and the Gold Standard team did an amazing job replacing the roof shingles on our tear off job and putting up new gutters. They accommodated our tight availability to complete the job and the results look great. Highly recommend.

Drew replaced my mother’s leaking flat roof. He was an absolute professional! I NEVER leave reviews but, Drew was a cut above the rest and I really can’t do enough to sing his praises. I had a leak coming from my fireplace chimney/roof housing that eventually led to water damage in my family room after a big storm. After being bounced around from one roofing company that said it was a chimney problem and chimney company saying it was a roofing problem, a friend of mine recommended Gold Standard. Drew came out and did an inspection and found that the problem was worse than I thought. After showing me the full extent of the damage under and around the chimney Drew explained how they would be able to make the repairs and gave me an estimate the next day, which was very reasonably priced. We scheduled the job and the crew was able to make all the repairs and stop the leak without any problems. They took care of getting the village permit for the work and really made the whole process stress free for me. Will be going back to Gold Standard for any future roofing/chimney work.

From start to finish the experience with Jim and his team was awesome! Within days of signing we had the work completed and the results are flawless. Great quality work and true craftsmanship. We needed a new roof as we were losing shingles and Jim Turk came out and did an inspection for us. He was thorough and frank with our situation, and as it turns out our roof qualified for insurance coverage. Jim was there to meet the claims inspector and handled much of everything else after that. Actually, I have never had a better project manager on a home project. He likes to be involved and not pawn off the project to others and was a consistent contact throughout the process! He was very accommodating with our indecisiveness on shingle colors and provided plenty of samples to help. The demo and install was awesome, the materials arrived prior to the install date so there would be no hold up when the crew arrived - and they were there early. It took the day, but they were done before dinner. Our house has turned heads with a beautiful new roof and gutters. We have Jim on speed dial for when it comes time to replace the siding!

Drew from Gold Standard was extremely professional and nice guy to work with. He took the time to work with my insurance and do all he could to get stuff covered. Roof looks great and I have passed his name to friends and coworkers who may need roof work done.

During an ongoing flash flood watch (during Covid lockdown) in Chicagoland, I realized I was getting some water intrusion in the basement. Only 2/3 of our 100+ year old house had gutters, so I sent an email submission through Gold Standard's website on a Sunday at 5pm. They called me Monday by 10am, had Jose out to estimate same day. Work was completed by Wednesday, same week. Our home has some frilly woodwork, and they easily modified the eaves to accommodate the gutter system. Great job, very happy.

I have been very pleased with all of the work we had done by Gold Standard Restorations. That included a new roof, gutter guards, skylights and windows, due to hail damage. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them for future needs.

George and the Gold Standard team stand behind their work. We had an issue with water staining our ceiling some years after they installed our roof, and the expert who came to our house spent the time needed to troubleshoot the reason. He was thorough and took the time to explain things to me. It ended up being a plumbing issue (leak somewhere in the stack vent piping) which the Gold Standard team identified for us by water testing the roof and then the venting. The Gold Standard roof is going strong and I would not hesitate to recommend this firm if you need a new quality roof installed.

I recently reached out to numerous roofing companies for quotes for a new roof since being denied by the insurance company. Carmine from Gold Standard got back to me quickly and came out to my house right away. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining all the details and the process. He understood my situation with paying out of pocket and made the best offer possible, finding ways to help me. The entire time, I sensed nothing but honesty and he was always easy to contact. In the end, I didn't go with Gold Standards offer but that doesn't mean my experience with them was bad. I would highly recommend considering this company for roofing needs.

George Lombardo and Gold Standard team of roofers helped my parents re-shingle their roof, and fix their soffit and fascia which was leaking. George made sure the job was done right after they completed the installation. He even personally came back and did a point to point inspection. He made sure the workers resolved issues we found, and stayed on top to resolution. We appreciate the time, care, and patience and now the roof is much better than before.

Hugo Munoz was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the work. After the insurance denied the claim for our roof, Hugo helped and got the insurance to accept the damage and we were able to get the roof done. Drew was also a big help for us and stepped in to help.

As someone who is extremely picky, detail oriented and notices flaws immediately, I cannot express enough how much Gold Standard Restoration exceeded my expectations!! First off, Drew was AMAZING. He truly made our job feel like his utmost priority. His customer service was outstanding. He helped us deal with the process of our insurance claim. Never did we feel like he was taking advantage or selling us things we didn't need. He is a straight shooter who wants the homeowner to be happy. He takes pride in his work.
The work was done in a timely fashion but for me, the crews that did our roof, windows, siding and gutters, cleaned up so well each day, it was far much less chaotic than I expected. I was so impressed, and I am not easy to impress. The quality of the materials has transformed my home into the place I dreamt it could be. It is so rare to end up with a result better than you had hoped.
We ended up with a leak (not their fault, it can happen when replacing original siding) they came out immediately and fixed the problem and repaired all damage, repainted the interior areas affected , all on them. No cost to us. It looks so great, I'm happy it leaked, to be honest!
