Excellence all around! Greg replaced the lp manifold, lp lines, lp regulator, and repaired the hot water heater on my horse trailer. It was a tough job because we stripped some fittings trying to do it ourselves first. His attention to detail, and willingness to answer my questions about other things on our rig was an added bonus. He was prompt and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Contacted Greg, prior to our arrival in Hermosa, and he was here the afternoon we checked in, for our RV water heater. He quickly diagnosed and repaired our issues. He had one of the needed parts, and I had the other. Finally, hot showers in the rig again, after others failed, Greg came to the rescue. Fair and friendly. Don't waste your time, just call Greg!!!

Bought a new (to us) camper and first time hooking the water up, discover the water heater was cracked. Called Greg well after hours and he came and found the problem. Next morning brought a new one out and installed, then proceeded to help fix other problems I had. 10 out of 10 for this man. Would bring my camper to him to repair any time!

Greg’s a good man, very knowledgeable. I made some mistakes on my winterizing procedure and he came by on a Sunday to repair my system.

I called Greg on a leaf spring question. It looked like there was an issue with the shackles on the leaf springs. We came from Cleveland, OH and were heading to Livingston, MO the next morning. Greg took my call even though he was on his way for a very important meeting. I sent him a picture and he responded quickly with his recommendation. He was spot on and we were able to continue our adventure with reassurance that everything was in good shape. It is good to know there are still people that take pride in what they do and are willing to help others. Thanks again Greg.

Thank you for your help Greg. We didn't have power in our camper and we needed the refrigerator and heat to work. He knew right away what it was. It kept popping the fuse. He put in an in line breaker and it worked perfect. Plus put new contact ends for our
battery for better contact. One hour later and we were on our way. Very knowledgeable individual. Thank you again.

Our furnace quit working in our new Grand Design when the temperatures were approaching freezing at night. Not a good thing! We called Greg and he came out the next day to diagnose the problem as faulty wiring and fixed it after checking out everything else. On top of this he took the system through 10 test runs to make sure it worked well. THANKS GREG!!

The water heater in my Class C was leaking so I called GK Service. I found Greg very easy to work with. The repair for Greg proved to be one which took two visits as the leak was not easily detected. Greg self made a pressure tester and found the tiny leak in one of the welds. He was able to take the tank to a local welder and the final repair was done the same day. Amazing!
Greg is a good guy with a great attitude. He never gave up on my difficult repair and made it his personal challenge to see the repair to the end, making sure I was a happy customer. Service like Greg offers is uncommon. Greg is friendly, on time, persistent and a good guy. I highly recommend him and his RV services.

I was having brake issues while in the Custer area and needed a mobile RV tech to come out to our campground and take a look. A quick Google search found GK RV service & repair. I called and left a message that afternoon. Greg followed up later that evening. I let him know that we were in the area for a few days and he agreed to come out the next day to diagnose the issue.

He found significant issues requiring new hub and brake assemblies. This required a trip into Rapid City for parts, and hour drive each way. I agreed to make the parts run the next morning while he was servicing other clients. He was already onsite when I returned with parts and knocked the job out in good time. He even found a propane leak while waitingamd took care of that as well.

When you're in the middle of a long road trip and have issues it's a god send to find a good mobile tech that will work to fit you into their schedule on your timeline so you can get back on the road.

Greg did a great job for us. He was courteous, professional, fit us into his busy schedule, showed up when he said he would, and he FIXED our leak!! Would highly recommend him. We just wish he lived closer to us in Oklahoma. He sure saved the day. Now we have running water for the rest of our stay here in SD.

Traveling in my 5th wheel through South Dakota, staying in Custer. Was having issues with my refrigerator/freezer. Was not cooling appropriately. Got Greg’s name from the campground. Called him on a Saturday morning around 9. He was on a job, but did say he could come by later that evening. He called me around 3 and advised me he was on his way. Looked at my cooling unit, it had gone by, was leaking. He could order one, but not until Monday, I was leaving Tuesday, would not be in before I left. Greg was not able to fix it, but he did diagnosis the problem. Also fixed an issue for me inside our camper. Greg was very timely, answer my initial call on a Saturday morning, called me back as promised, showed up early, diagnosed the issue. Also did fix one smaller issue. He was very professional, knew his business, very timely, stayed in touch throughout the day and advised me of the problem and addressed one other concern. Did all that I asked and beyond. Our A/C stopped working on a hot June day and GK RV, was able to squeeze us in to their busy schedule, And repair it the same day. The customer service was excellent and the price was incredible for a same day emergency visit. Thank you again for everything.

I can NOT say enough about this dear young man. He helped us correct a slide out issue. Spent time working on the phone with Newmar to correct an issue with the slide board and motor. He never gave up! Stuck with us through dark of night and rain! He never gave up- never gave us a “farm fix” did it RIGHT! And helped us get on with our journey. Can’t thank him enough. We were in Custer SD and if you have an issue anywhere near there- call him! He’s an angel! ( great price . Too!! )

Greg was great to work with, effective fixing our issue and communicating. We had a cracked propane hose. He came to our campsite in Custer State Park. Analyzed the problem and worked with us on best way to proceed. Fixed the hose and did several safety checks. He explained each step as he went along. He also gave us advice for moving forward. Everything works now. Would highly recommend.

He came out to check our non functioning water heater. Which he fixed handily. Then he checked all our gas outlets and found some potentially dangerous problems inside. We were really happy with the service. Price was certainly fair. Nice guy!

12V RV Power Converter died. Called Greg at 7:00 am on a Monday and explained what I thot was the problem. We walked thru my diagnosis over the phone and texted a couple pic's of the converter. Greg then drove 100 miles round-trip to get the part; adjusted his schedule to bump me to the front; then came to my campsite and got me going. Great guy; knowledgeable and friendly. I could have done this myself at home, but in the middle of nowhere, Greg was a lifesaver! Parts on the road aren't cheap, so don't expect to pay Amazon prices. I would have paid Greg double to get my fridge and AC going. Can't thank him enough and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the Custer SD area in need of RV help. BIG THANKS Greg!!

Fantastic Service. Most highly recommended. My 2020 Class A was dead in the water. I had no 12 Volt Power, no slide outs, no way to troubleshoot or fix. Greg isolated the problem to a Deck Mount Converter/Charger in minutes. Greg had the part needed to fix the problem. The WFCO 9800 AD Series replacement was better quality than the OEM. I can't say enough good things about this service. Thanks from me and my family for getting us back on the road.

Greg was great to work with! We were having AC issues while camping near Hill City. He responded quickly to our message and was able to come out to diagnose the issue, which was not easy. He even reached out to Dometic to confirm which part to replace. He made the trip to pick up the part and came back out to replace it. We were out sightseeing with the kids when he came back to install the part. Greg was kind enough to take payment over the phone when we were comfortable and felt the issue was resolved. He is very professional, kind and reasonably priced. He even gave us some advice over the phone for another issue after the original issue was resolved. Arrived in Custer SD and found a broken bracket on the springs of our 5th wheel. Called GK RV. Greg got the parts and fixed the problem. He also replaced the others that were also bad. Fantastic response. Highly recommended.

We had never used our water pump on our 2022 Jayco Greyhawk 29MVP and when we turned it on to use it for the first time it did not work. We could hear it running but no water would come out of the tap. GK Service and Repair was recommended by our camp host. Called Greg and he came right out and fixed the kinked hose on the pump that would not allow the water to flow. Also took time to answer other questions we had on our RV. Super nice and highly recommend Greg!

I called Greg about an issue we were having with our slide. Although he didn’t work on that type, he walked me through a procedure to fix the problem. Great guy with experience in everything RV. Can’t say enough about him and his service!

We had a problem with our water heater…scheduled with Greg for next day, although he was willing to come over that evening. Greg even called to let me know he was running a bit late (was only 10 minutes late from when originally said he would be here). Greg is extremely conscientious and has his clients best interest top of mind. While waiting for our water heater to reach temp…he checked other systems for operation rather than standing around waiting. He even checked in later to make sure all was still well. I would definitely recommend Greg for any RV service!!

I called Greg on our way to Custer State Park because we were having a problem with our water pump. He communicated very well and came to us quickly after we arrived. The problem was a bit of a challenge but he stayed until he figured it out and everything was working. I highly recommend this company!!

Greg went well above and beyond what many others might do. We called him from 4 hours away and were driving in extreme wind conditions. He helped us immensely by booking us a campsite, meeting us there after his normal hours, climbing up on the roof of our rig to replace the vent cover, all in the middle of a wind advisory/snow and ice storm nearing dark. He truly saved our butts. On top of that, he was pleasant and cordial throughout. Highly recommend him.

Arrived in Custer with a few issues with our travel trailer. Called Greg and explained our issue with the slide out awning. He asked for a couple of pics which we quickly sent over. He advised he could be over shortly, which was already 4:30 in the afternoon. when he arrived, he quickly went to work fixing our issue. We then asked him to take a look at what appeared to be a very small leak around our toilet. He kindly took a look and determined the value was leaking. He didn’t have the part, but was able to get it next day and worked us in his schedule for the repair. He also did a few small things that he noticed, which was so kind. Greg was knowledgeable and quick to respond. We found his prices very reasonable and fair. Almost too reasonable. Greg was also very respectful once inside our camper, which I really appreciate! If you are ever in need, don’t hesitate to give him a call. We are thankful he answered our call!

Great service, very attentive, after doing the call out repair, went the extra step of checking my water heater and located a serious issue that was not visible and repaired it. Highly recommended.

Greg was able to fix our furnace and diagnose a couple other problems. He was on time, friendly, and had everything he needed with him. He saved our trip and my wife is happy.

Greg was great. He really spent some time trying to figure out what was going on with our problems. And he figured it out. We had had some electrical problems that had bothered us for years. Greg not only figured out the immediate problem, but figured out why we had had the other issues. He was great.

Greg came out quickly and was able to diagnose why our GFI breaker was tripping. It was due to some "special" installation of our power recliners. He reconnected wires and secured the nuts. He also added a new outlet box.

He text me several times, made sure we had the right part before he came and even let me go get the part so there was no mark up on the part. Knew what he was doing. Wish I knew more honest people like him 8/2023

Very helpful drove 1 1/2 hours to replace our blown tire on our camper. Very thorough with tire pressure and a speedy repair.

We were in the Custer area and were having trouble with power on our fifth wheel. We placed a call to Greg. He called us back within the hour and was at our campsite 10 minutes later. He let us know it was our converter. He installed a new one the next day. Greg saved our vacation!

Called Greg randomly about an electrical problem with my rv. He came out and diagnosed a few problems we had like batteries not recharging and the rotor on one of my brakes was broken in two places. He ordered the parts, repaired my rv, and in a timely manner. My wife and I were impressed by his work ethic, knowledge, and professionalism! I highly recommend him for your event repairs!!!

Showed up to the campground in Custer to find one of the slides died half way out. Greg showed up to the campsite and was able to figure out it wasn't a slide issue, but a dead short in our rear stabilizer. (They are on the same circuit.) He quickly fixed it and was reasonably priced. Would call again if I'm having a RV issue in the Black Hills area.

Great guy! Came out to our camper and got our hot water heater up and running. Super accommodating to meet up and get things fixed and very reliable. Definitely recommend!

Called GK RV Service on a Friday morning and he made it out within a couple hours. Was upfront with setting expectations. He walked through my battery/power issue and explained everything to me in a way even I could understand. Greg also answered some other questions we had about general RV care. His price was very reasonable especially considering he came to our campsite at Blue Bell in Custer State Park, making it very easy for us. Highly recommend GK RV Service.

I would recommend using Greg anytime. He traveled to our RV Campground, completed the trouble shooting and found the items needed for the repairs in less than an hour. And he was there within a couple of hours of our call.

The tech came by at dusk and changed a tire for me. He was persistent in a tight space with limited locations under my Tiffin Wayfarer to jack it up and place a jack stand. It was a tough hour of wrangling in limited space but most definitely a job well done.
I would call again for any issue while in the Black Hills area.

We were camping in Custer and noticed a water leak in our new trailer. Could not find the source. Called Greg and he was able to come to the campground the next morning. He was there when he said he would be and fixed the leak within a few minutes. He also pressure tested the lines just to make sure of no other leaks. Loved visiting with him. Great guy. We come to Custer every year to camp and his contact info is now in my phone. Don't hesitate to call Greg for your camper/trailer/rv needs. He will be my first call I we ever have issue while in Custer.

If I could give GK Service 10 stars I would! We had a water leak somewhere under our bathroom sink. It started a sudden rapid drip. I figured the beginning of our 3 month trip had just ended, until I found GK Service in a Google search. Greg answered the phone immediately and came to our camper location within the same early evening of our call. He was very knowledgeable, diagnosed our problem and fixed it! He was friendly, caring and even went beyond by asking if we had any questions about the workings of our camper trailer. Knowledgeable, mechanically excellent, honest and caring.We highly recommend GK Service!!

We came into Custer State Park late one night and our travel trailer was making a horrendous grinding noise for the last 5-10 miles. We called GK at 10am the next day. By 2:30 he was in our campsite working on it. The wheel bearings on one side were completely shot. He replaced the bearings, repacked it all and checked the bearings on the other side. He was done by dinnertime. The price was reasonable. We are very happy that Greg was able to fix the problem at our campsite with minimal disruption to our vacation. Honestly, it seemed pretty miraculous. I would not hesitate to call Greg again if we run into trouble in his area.

We drove in from Texas and called Greg on a Saturday and he responded immediately. He was knowledgeable, extremely courteous and very prompt. He corrected the problem very quickly and saved our trip, we would definitely use him again.

Greg was phenomenal in replacing our water heater due to a fire. He was very responsive throughout the process of inquiry, scheduling, and meeting up with us on while we were on a road trip. His price was very fair and I would highly recommend his service. We couldn’t be happier with his work.

Wow, can't say enough good things about Greg and especially after reading other's review. This is the guy that you want to work on your camper. I had grease seals fail on my new camper, called and he was able to squeeze me in after 5 pm! You just don't get that kind of service anywhere. AND, he just happened to be trained by Lippert on the axle that I have.

All in all my wife and I were very pleased with his service. And he is a very personable and allowed me to assist.

We blew a tire on our RV on a precarious part of Deerfield Road. Thank goodness for Greg! Even on a Sunday and holiday, he was prompt, super efficient, and reasonable. The Black Hills and surrounding areas are so fortunate to have Greg and his service! If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Greg was a great help to us as we had our RV water pump quit working while traveling and camping in Custer State Park. We called his service and he promptly replied and arranged to meet us the next afternoon. Within 45 minutes, he had a new water pump installed for a very reasonable price. Greg is honest, pleasant, professional and a very knowledgable and competent RV technician. Not to mention, he was a Godsend while we were away from home and needed help!

I had problems with my landing gear, and I have never met à more professional, and a REALLY honest guy. If you want a guy that will take care of you this is your guy. When I'm up in this area again, and I have a problem I'll Definitely call him again (but I hope I don't need too)

Greg went out of his way to help us with our leveling system. Unfortunately the motor failed.. it had to be replaced.

Greg is a very skilled and knowledgeable RV repairman. I sent him photos and described the plumbing problem via text. On arrival he had parts and made repairs that involved using pieces from different parts to make it work. He then replaced some roof vent caps and looked at some other things that I’ve never gotten satisfactory answers from various other repairmen.
All in all my wife are very pleased with his service. And he is a very personable and likeable guy.

Greg was awesome. He came out immediately and diagnosed my RV electrical problem. He replaced a bad part the next day. Very prompt and personable. He replied to texts quickly. He also fixed a couple other minor problems when he was here. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Greg was timely, efficient and friendly (even in a rainstorm). We had jammed the awning and it wouldn’t close. We couldn’t drive the RV. He found a solution so we could drive - he basically saved our vacation.

We noticed the furnace in our rv was only lukewarm heat, on Sunday morning. My husband called Greg and left a msg. Within 2 hours he called us and was here shortly after. He fixed our issue and we had heat again. Greg was very reasonable in price and has a wonderful work ethic. We would highly recommended him. It would be great if more people were like him. We were thankful to have contacted him.

Greg answered our call for help within minutes, made an appointment time for that day, and came to our campground site as quickly as possible. He was thoroughly nice, fixed our problem quickly, and caught a few things that we weren’t aware of. His rates were VERY reasonable, and he was very accommodating. Greg came out to fix my air conditioner. He had all the right tools to test it and see what the problem was. Had a lot of different options on what the next steps were. 10/10 recommend!
