WOULD NOT RECOMMEND….do your research before hiring this contractor. I spent close to 30K with G&G Construction to put on an exterior patio roof (so not a small job) and it's leaked since day 1. I told them about the leak multiple times, they came out multiple times to fix the issue, and they couldn't find the leak. I had them come out one more time and do a water test to find the leak, which they did and then slapped a bunch of caulking everywhere they thought the leak was coming from. The caulking worked temporarily but after the winter it began to leak again. At this point, I've had 2 other contractors at my house and they said the roof was installed completely wrong….they specifically said any contractor worth anything would not of installed a roof like this, it's a HUGE NO NO, construction 101, and was guaranteed to leak. They built the roof line into the side/bottom of my second story window so water actually goes under my shingles which causes a leak when it rains. I asked Joey & Tommy multiple times, before and during construction, if the roof line will clear that window and they both said it's not a problem. They either don't know the basics of roofing construction OR they were in too deep, knew what they were doing, and didn't want to fix the pitch of the roof or the size of the 2nd story window. I would have much rather addressed the issue during construction so we could properly let the roof line pass under the window and everything could be flashed properly to keep the roof from leaking but they didn't disclose anything, hid it, and took the money and ran. Completely disappointed because I actually liked them but this was an avoidable mistake, and now I have to spend thousands of dollars more to make it right.
Joey and his team built our patio roof end of last year and we couldn’t of had a better experience. Came back for a minor repair within days of contacting him. Would highly recommend.
I contacted Vinnie, as I suspected that I was having water come into my basement due to a bad downspout and perhaps some gutter blockage. He was extremely responsive and set up a date for the team to come look at my issue. Vinnie and Joey came to my house on time and as promised. They gave me a very reasonable quote to replace my downspout and clean my gutters. They showed up a few days later as promised and on time. The job was done efficiently and effectively. This was the first time I’ve ever had a roofing or gutter job done without any hassle. Such a relief. Thank you!
