Gerrish Remodeling and Design

I entrusted Gerrish Remodeling with doing 23 replacement windows and front door of my home. Rick and his crew were professional, prompt, respectful to the home owners wishes and cleanup was immaculate. They discarded all of the existing windows. Rick went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed to our expectations!

We worked with Gerrish Remodeling and Design to install a new downstairs bathroom in our home. Rick was very easy to work with, worked well with our schedule and with his other in-progress projects. He always kept us informed, shared design options and asked for our opinions. We’d like to thank Rick, his team, and partners for all their work and efforts to deliver a great result. We recently had the pleasure of working with Rick Gerrish, owner of Gerrish Remodeling and Design, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project was a challenging one: our back addition had separated from the main house and required significant structural work, including raising the addition, replacing rotted supports, and completely gutting the room. The scope of the work included:

—Leveling the floor and installing a new subfloor.
—Removing two windows and installing a single, beautiful casement window.
—Insulating, sheet rocking, painting, and laying new flooring.

During the process, Rick discovered asbestos siding on the exterior that required immediate removal per the building inspector. He handled this unexpected issue swiftly and efficiently, coordinating the removal at a very reasonable cost and keeping the project on track. What truly set Gerrish Remodeling apart was Rich’s outstanding communication. Despite being thousands of mikes away during the renovation, we were kept fully informed at every step. He explained the challenges, provided clear options, and ensured we felt confident about every decision. He also shared a google spreadsheet with us that outlined the labor and material expenses so that we always knew how much was being spent.

Our experience with Gerrish was professional and friendly. Rich provided computer renderings of our projected project, expertly done. We wanted Trex to replace our wood deck to reduce maintenance and give our home a fresh new look. He and his crew always worked on the project when Rich said they work and were always on time. Rich took care of ordering all materials and secured a building permit. We were so impressed with the deck work we decided to replace the boards on our front porch to match the Trex on our back deck. We had Gerrish Remodeling & Design work on our house over the summer updating our home’s siding, replacing all of our old windows, and turning our old musty basement into a beautiful living space — It is now the nicest part of our home! Rick & his crew did a major interior and exterior renovation for us and completely transformed our home. They worked closely with us through the entire process and often gave helpful design suggestions that hadn’t occurred to us.
