German Roofing

This is my 3rd house I have used this company. One a total new roof and the other two just repairs. They are a breath of fresh air. Very punctual, honest and quality work.

This was our second experience replacing the underlayment on our roof, the last one was a couple years ago on a different house using a different company. Back then, there were leaks post-installation, but that company took ownership of them by repairing the leaks and repairing the ceiling stains that resulted from them. That was good.

However, German Roofing was better (or best). It finally rained today and there are no leaks anywhere. Top-Quality. There were no complications, no issues, no problems. It was simple and easy. Thank you, Manuel, for your top-notch professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Great company! We had German Roofing replaced our roof underlayment in Jan 2025 and they exceeded our expectation. From the initial scheduling for a quote to the final inspection, communication was clear, pleasant and prompt. Shout out to Lu, Dianna, Manuel and the crew. I felt everybody was great at what they do. Manuel gave the estimate and oversaw the project. His estimate was competitive, and I felt confident in his knowledge and experience. The crew worked hard and cleaned up very well. Overall, I’m very happy with this project.

Great experience with German Roofing. I obtained a range of quotes, but was impressed with the honesty and quality value adds offered by German. Manuel patiently answered questions and did not try to oversell (as some others did). I was treated fairly by German Roofing and they were flexible in doing the work while I was away from home. Over the years, we have used German Roofing a number of times on properties we own. We recently had them “renew” the roof on our house in Scottsdale. As always, they did an excellent job, on time, and at a very reasonable price.

But the real reason German Roofing was the only company we considered is that in a world of short-cuts and broken promises, I have learned the company’s owner is good for his word and stands behind his work. His guarantee is just that. His word is his bond. In my world, there’s no other company to call.

I’m sure this is a fantastic company however I don’t appreciate this company using my front porch as a pick up spot for their crew members. My patio/porch is not a bus stop. My dog goes crazy (it’s very very early) and still at least 5-7 of these guys gather a wait for rides outside my home, on private property almost daily. They leave food/trash and look at me like I’m in the wrong spot when I’m at my own front door. I’ve asked for them to please go somewhere else to get picked up but seems they don’t speak any English. Sorry to put the company on blast but the number on the truck that picks them up everyday doesn’t answer and mailbox is full. Please have your crew be respectful of loitering on people’s private property. It’s getting to be a problem. Thanks

German Roofing did a great job replacing my parapet flat roof. They made the whole process very easy. I will definitely use them for the future maintenance the roof will need.

We have always had a good experience with German Roofing. They have now fixed our back patio roof, front patio roof and back half of our house. The office is professional and scheduling is easy. The work is excellent quality and they are thorough with the job.

German Roofing has done three excellent jobs: full replacement of flat foam roofs on two buildings, and a full repair of a deteriorated leaking balcony. Excellent every time. Will always call on them first.

I was referred to German Roofing by my insurance company because of an emergency leak. Fernando came, repaired the leak and gave me an estimate to replace the roof. Fernando didn't charge for the repair. After talking with Lee from the office and because of Fernando's kindness and knowledge I asked German Roofing to replace the roof. I'm building a new home which has both foam and metal roofing. German Roofing wasn't the lowest bid but they have been fantastic to work with. They do what they say they are going to do. Very responsive and their attention to detail was great. I highly recommend this company for your roofing project.

I originally found German Roofing on Angie's List 6 years ago, and I have been working with them ever since. As a Property Manager I have counted on them to replaced 8 roof in addition to the many roof inspections and repairs.

Their prices are more than competitive, their office staff is professional, friendly and responsive. Their install team are respectful to my tenant, take safty seriously and do great job of cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend German Roofing!

I had a major leak with the roof of our screened in porch. I have a manufactured home. I called 4 roofing contractors and they all said I also have major storm damage to the house roof. I liked German Roofing best because Fernando, their estimator, was very personable and knowledgeable and he answered all of my questions. His estimate included the entire house roof replacement, the whole leaking porch roof and the front porch roof as well. His estimate was less than the insurance adjuster's estimate. German Roofing did the whole job in 3 days and they did excellent work. They replaced the entire house roof using architectural shingles and replaced the entire porch roof and installed rolled roofing on the porches. They were thorough in the cleanup and even painted the new plywood on the porch. They gave a 10 year warranty against leaks. The final price was the same as the initial estimate. I am totally satisfied and will use them for any roofing needs in the future.

I don’t recall how I first learned of German Roofing; maybe just a web search about ten years ago. I had a need for a roof repair and called them. They were professional and reasonably priced so I gave them the job. They did a great job when promised and how promised.

Fernando did the estimate and followed up after the power wash and two coats of elastomeric coating were applied. The works was done on schedule and in a professional manner.

We used German Roofing to replace the underlayment of our concrete tile roof. We were among the last in our neighborhood to do it, so I had the advantage of seeing what roofing companies all the neighbors were using and the quality of the final result. We chose German based on quality, and they were also unexpectedly lower in price than the other company we got a quote from. I felt the quality from the beginning. The other company e-mailed a canned quote without seeing our property. German came out and inspected the roof and gave a detailed quote, a reasonable timeline, and after the job was done, came back and inspected the roof again and answered all my husband's questions (they used a newer ventilation system that mimic's the tiles and is more visually appealing; but this confused my husband). I will definitely call them for any future roofing needs.

During the storms that happened over the last few weeks, roof tiles came off the roof. They were very quick to reply to my phone message and had someone out to look at the roof right away. The job was done quickly and the roof looks like it had never been repaired. Everything was cleaned up and they called and emailed to make sure we were happy. Everyone was very professional and courteous.

I was looking for a honest company to repair my roof. That is what I found in this company. They were very professional and made me feel comfortable.

German Roofing has done 3 jobs for me now, and each time it is well done and I have been totally happy. Fair pricing (usually the lowest bid), reliable, everyone I have met or talked to is nice, polite, professional etc. They 100% clean up after themselves too. Special mention to Manuel, who went the extra mile, and took care of something that was not part of original scope, small but not something he needed to do but helped me out- when he came to inspect the crew's work, he painted the overhang where they replaced the wood and shingles which was not part of original quote because at the time of the quote, whole house was being painted. I would recommend German to everyone!

German Roofing replaced our cement tile roof and did a great job at a fair price. The work was done on-time and and at the price quoted in the detailed estimate. Since then I have had them out every three or four years to inspect the roof and make minor repairs as necessary. I recommended them to friends in the neighborhood who were also very pleased with their work.

I had 4 companies look at my roof, this one had the most complete contract items, friendly responsive people, great warranty, best shingles, no final payment until their inspector came out and approved the work. There are no negatives for this company. I had cheaper and more expensive bids. They have my highest recommendation.

Had them replace my roof back in 2016, repair an odd leak in my bedroom wall in 2017, and do repairs and improvements on my separate garage roof in 2018, and this year had them replace the garage's rotating roof vents. I have been very happy with all the work they have done. Manuel - the field manager - is honest and a delight to work with.

German Roofing did a partial roof repair on my house finally ending a few small leaks that other companies had “ repaired” over years. Big Difference... German Roofing found and really repaired the leaks. They were on time and completed the work as promised. Their customer service was great as well.

From the beginning communication was easy and German Roofing was responsive and did everything they said they would when they said they would. The guys worked hard really hard, always on time VERY EARLY and worked 5 full days in a row to give us a beautiful new roof. They cleaned up nicely and completed an inspection of the job . German ‘s bid was even a little lower than other estimates . No hidden Fee’s. We paid what they quoted us.

Bought a maintenance package from them for $435 to replace missing and loose shingles up to one bundle and seal down anything else that is loose. Had two prior quotes that said I only needed about 1/2 bundle but wanted to go through Angie list. Took pictures before and after.

Did a great job on the missing shingles but didn’t touch multiple spots that were loose and coming up. Didn’t use the rest of the bundle. Didn’t even attempt to seal the loose ones. Didn’t even look. Called them and they’re claiming they used the whole shingle bundle but they didn’t, and even so, why wouldn’t you seal up the ones popping up that didn’t need replacement. That’s exactly what your deal said you’d do? Don’t waste you money. I could’ve paid a guy from Craigslist $50 to do this.
