Genesis Roofing

Brian was fantastic! He came out quick and repaired a leak in our roof. He showed us pictures and explained to us everything he was gonna do to fix the issue. I would definitely call Genesis first if I have any future roofing issues!

UPDATE (in response to the owner’s reply):
Let me clear a few things up. The call didn’t “drop” — it went through fine and was ended immediately after I said the word “contracting.” There was no signal issue. No “Call failed.” You hung up.

Also, calling me a “spam caller” just proves my point. You heard “contracting” and assumed I wasn’t worth your time. That’s exactly the lack of professionalism I was talking about.

And just to be clear, I wasn’t trying to sell you anything. I was offering an opportunity for you to sell to me — to bid the job and provide a quote for paid work. Just expected a little more professionalism, that’s all.

Original Comment: I called to discuss a potential subcontracting opportunity but was disconnected immediately after introducing myself. I didn’t get a chance to talk or ask any questions. Disappointed by the lack of basic professionalism for a business.

Update: The owner called me shortly after I posted this review — not to reconnect about the job, but to confront me about the rating. His first words were “Did you leave a bad review?” which made it clear his main concern was protecting his 5-star average, not handling the situation professionally. During the call, he also told me that a 30-minute drive to the job site was outside of his service area. That only confirmed my impression and made it clear we weren’t a good fit.

Bryan and his team are the best! The work they did (replacing the roof on my house and the roof and siding on my garage) was amazing. My 1920 house/garage look brand new! Communication was constant with no surprises and they even did some additional sprucing up at no cost (fixed some trimming). I was happy with the price of this project - very, very reasonable!! I would (and have) highly recommend Genesis Roofing. Thank you again, Genesis Roofing!

Brian with Genesis came out right away found the problem causing our roof to leak. He took the time to explain and show me pictures of the issue then he fixed it for us. Very professional and responsive. We highly recommend Genesis Roofing for any roofing needs.

Genesis Roofing has been wonderful. I have a great example of the service they provided us. They actually replaced our roof in March of 2022. They did a wonderful job, were timely, did what they said they were going to do and there were no surprises. Fastforward three years, one of the roof vents was making noise, so I called Brian and he said he would come up and checking it out. He was there as requested and worked on the vent and put it back on. Within the month, the vent starting squeaking again so I gave Brian another call. He ended up ordering a new vent and came and replaced it. ALL FOR NO CHARGE. It's not often you get service like this.

Bryan and his guys at Genesis have done a lot of work on my home - the roof, gutters/gutter guards and siding repairs. They’ve always done an excellent job and are very fast! Getting an estimate and getting scheduled is quick & easy, and I appreciate that Bryan always explains things well and keeps me informed during the process.

Bryan and crew are amazing to work with. This is my 2nd roof with Genesis and when we got storm damage he was first call. Bryan explains everything re insurance, does what he says he will do and helps to make process as painless as possible. And he brought me a jar of honey - sweet!

Bryan was incredibly helpful when we were looking for a solution for our hot attic. We originally reached out to have some vents cut but he was able to add insulation to our attic and help improve our airflow by upgrading our roof vents. Reasonably priced good service, communicates well over text

I am probably being redundant to the many other 5-star reviews, but it is worth saying many times. Bryan (owner) and his crew are amazing. Caring, considerate and professional. Bryan was on-site most of the day and when he was not, other members of his team took over quickly. Really worked hard to protect landscaping, decks and windows. My neighbor watched them (we had hail in the area) and contracted with them that same day, as they were also impressed. Bryan does the estimates, ensures quality and is there if something goes wrong, he is there to fix it. You are not dealing with a sales person you never see again after signing the contract.

Very professional business. Arrived at 6:30 am, tore off old roofing, installed new roofing including ridge vents, cleaned up jobs site and were finished by 11:00 am.

Genesis roofing did a great job with my roof. I found out through an inspection, after an offer had been made on my house, that there was hail damage and the new owners wanted the roof replaced prior to taking ownership. Bryan was great to work with and got started on the roof right away. Got the project done in plenty of time and communicated directly with the insurance company so I didn't have to worry about it. Everything went smoothly and they helped relieve a ton of stress for me. Would highly recommend.

Bryan was amazing! My new roof looks fantastic and they got it done in one day! Bryan initially quoted for a roof repair until he noticed hail damage. He worked with my insurance adjuster on our roof inspection. He then quoted us a price for a new roof. His crew removed the old shingles and replaced our roof with IKO shingles within a day. He installed new skylights and worked with the manufacturer rep to insure we had the correct blinds inserted within same. Bryan is very knowledgeable about his products and did an outstanding job from start to finish. I highly recommend Genesis Roofing.

Brian is not only professional but very responsive. The entire process was organic start to finish. He helped me understand options, colors, etc. The crew showed up when they said they would and we’re done in just a few hours. My wife came home and was floored by how clean the work area was. If you didn’t change your roof color, you wouldn’t even know they were there...just awesome! Highly recommended!

Genesis originally installed my roof over 15 years ago and since then I have continually recommended them to any friend, neighbor, or client of mine in need of a roof. After discovering the need for a roof replacement due to hail, they were the first and last call I made. They did a superior job coordinating the install, completed the work in half a day, and it was almost as if they weren't even here.... Other than seeing our brand new roof installed when I came home. Highly recommend!! Brian and the crew is fantastic!

Bryan and his crew did a fantastic job. Replacing a roof is a big and very messy job. Yet once they were gone, you couldn't tell they'd even been there (except for the brand new roof of course). I recommend them highly.

I had a great experience with Bryan and Genesis Roofing! I Called on a Saturday, they came out to assess and give a quote on Monday and fixed the problem by Thursday. Less than a week! Genesis Roofing did a quality job replacing our roof. I had several questions regarding products and Bryan was very helpful and honest in his approach. He didn’t try and sell me something I didn’t need/want. We opted for a 50yr vintage shingle and couldn’t be happier with the end result.

I had been trying to get a roofer to fix a small leak for the past year. Yes... year! I suspected it just needed to be caulked and I had other roofers tell me they’d come out to take a look and then never did. Within a few days of my reaching out, Bryan came to my house and fixed the problem on the spot. I know that roof replacement is obviously better for business and makes more money, but the fact he treated my problem with immediacy shows the type of owner he is. Bryan and his crew took great care of us when they replaced our roof this past year. Not only do they do great work, but Bryan worked hard to connect with us and keep us informed. He gave us lots of options and helped us choose what was best for us. He told us when he was going to show up for the roof replacement and connected with us when the schedule changed (which inevitably will happen). I have been a remodeling contractor for 26 years. We obtained four bids for roof replacement on our personal home. Genesis was not the cheapest, but were in the middle. The bid was straightforward and easy to understand, with no product upgrades or warranty gimmicks. Brian communicated very well with us before, during and after the process. He provided samples of the products he would use, showed up on time, and thoroughly explained the steps involved in the process. He listened to my concerns regarding flashing and potential damage areas. He also offered to replace the first two plywood sheets for free, for any damage he found on the roof deck, which was nice, because I knew I had at least one area in question, and the two sheet offer would cover it. He texted photos of the minor damage/rot he discovered during the tear-off. He took extra steps to protect vulnerable windows, doors and shrubs, as well as doing an exceptional job cleaning up debris afterwards! I was very picky about clean-up, and had a hard time even covering the bottom of a 5 gal bucket with anything I could find. The roof looks fantastic, and the courses and ridge cap are run nice and straight. I would hire Genesis Roofing again, and will be sending them future roofing projects I encounter in the future.
