We worked with Jed and his team to build an addition onto our house for my grandparents. We’re so pleased with the results!! The team was super easy to get along with, too. They were here every day Monday through Friday and fully dedicated to our project. Everyone we know was surprised with how quickly the work was completed. The bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted and needed for them. In these waning years of their life, they need a little more help and now we can be right here to provide it and know that their space is brand new for them and easy to navigate. Thanks again for everything!

Jed had hired us to do excavating for a home addition. Working with them has been wonderful. They are experts in their craft.

First, when you call, Jed answers, no voicemail, when you text, he responds, no waiting, when he tells you they will do something they do it! From the promised start date to the best quality construction you can rely on them. I had the opportunity to watch construction every day and I can tell you they took no shortcuts and our 41x30 ft deck was done right. Use them for your next project and you won’t be sorry!

I had Jed tear down my old deck and install a new one . I would recommend him and his crew to everyone . He is very knowledgeable and personable. Came the first day to give me a price and the following day to sign a contract . Two days later I have a new deck . Just a top notch guy and a man of his word . His crew is also very nice and good at what they do . Thanks Jed and thanks to all the crew . . . . . It’s now about 2.5 months later and I regret that I have to change my review . I said he was a man of his word but unfortunately he is not . There was one small task that he left undone and he said he would be back to do it . After a couple of texts and promises on his part he has not shown up yet and now doesn’t respond to my text . Don’t leave anything undone and trust that he will be back .

Jed and GCE Contracting were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. They did a fantastic job with the work they performed on our deck. They finished the project in a timely manner and made sure that everything was cleaned up when they were finished. My husband and I will definitely be hiring Jed and his crew for more projects at our home.

Highly recommend using Jed and his crew. He just built a huge wrap around porch on my farm house that came out amazing and in record time. His guys are respectful and friendly and cleaned up after themselves each day. I have already asked for a quote for more work on my house because of how satisfied I am with the work so far.

We’re very happy with the new deck Jed and his crew erected for us. The crew was polite and did not get irritated with the questions I put forth. We were surprised at how swiftly the project came together without any hiccups. The men worked like a well oiled machine. Now it’s up to us to put our lounge chairs on the deck to sit on under our umbrellas and rest.

Jed and his team are beyond wonderful. Their work is beyond superb. They have installed a new Trex deck for me and also remodeled my living room, hall, and bathroom. I can't say enough about their great work and service!!!

Excellent company, very professional and outstanding fit and finish. Never seen the level of detail that they put into my deck install before. All sides of the stairs and the underside are completely finished with Trex. They did everything from removing the old deck, pouring the concrete, designing and building the new deck, and lastly installing new facia on the house. Everything came out above and beyond expectations.

Jeds crews work well with very little supervision, which allows him to put a lot of his focus on customer service. GCE Contracting did an AMAZING job on my covered porch installing a new Trex Deck! The new Trex deck was a huge selling point when I sold my house. They were fair in price, friendly to deal with and knocked my deck out in just a few days. The owner of GCE was very polite and professional, he even delivered my extra materials back to Lowe’s so I could get refunded. I will definitely be using GCE Contracting again to install a Trex deck on our newly built home!! 10 out of 10, highly recommend GCE!!!

The work from GCE speaks for itself but I’ll try to sum it up. Your project can look however you want it to, Jed will give you his expert opinion and help you achieve your dreams with any project. If you can’t find something you want for your project, Jed takes it personally and will look until he can find it. GCE redid both of our bathrooms. One was an upgrade from a 1.5 bath and the other was a gut and remodel. Take a look!
