Amazing!! Justin came and gave me a quote at no charge and came back again before the project started to give me some advice that I asked him for. Also at no charge. Monday morning, June 30th, here they came. They were here on time and ready to work. Their professionalism, efficiency and safety exceeded my expectations. It was overwhelming to me how much they accomplished in one day. Demolished three out-buildings , pumphouse, and took down 9 big pine trees. The "big kahuna" was 80 feet tall and up next to my house. They made it look easy.
I can't speak highly enough about those four men.
Justin is also an excavator. I will be hiring him for excavating and cement.

These guys were so quick, they had everything done and had the areas cleaned up so well. Very friendly and let me know everything that was being done as they did it. Educated me on some of my remaining trees and all for a great rate. Thanks you so much!!

I recently had to have a large tree removed from my front yard. I did not want to remove this well loved tree, but I had to because it was in danger of falling on my house and driveway. On the advice of a trusted friend I hired Garden City Tree Services to do the job.

The Garden City Crew arrived on time and had the job done in just a few hours.

I am impressed with the competency and courtesy of the crew. All members of the crew were friendly and cheerful. They did their job with enthusiasm and care.

They did a number of things that left a good impression with me.

They cut the tree down without dropping the limbs and breaking anything.

They took the time to save parts of the tree that wanted to save for woodworking projects.

They used their equipment to pull several bushes out by the roots I wanted to remove. They did not charge me to do this.

They protected my windows from any damage or breakage from the stump grinding process by placing equipment in the path of any thrown debris.

They removed the stump and removed all of the roots that they could without damaging the pavement on my driveway, leaving a level yard. They leveled the yard where they removed the stump.

They thoroughly raked and and cleaned my yard of any debris. In fact my yard looked better after they removed the tree than before they showed up. The same applies to my driveway. They removed all of the mess and hauled it away.

Garden City Tree Service did a way better job than I expected.

Several members of the crew thanked me for the work.

Garden City Tree Service did a phenomenal job removing a huge pine tree from a very hard to reach spot after the massive storm in Missoula. After they were done you couldn't even tell a tree had been there. Highly recommend

A crew just came out to my house to remove some maple branches that fell down during last week's windstorm. They did a fantastic job and went above and beyond in cleaning up both my yard and my neighbors' yards. Great crew to work with. I'll be using them for all my arborist needs in the future.

Top notch tree service! Professional, family-run, quick, prepared, and they immaculately cleaned up the site. They took care of me as well as a few of my neighbors and everyone is happy with their service. The work was extremely expensive, but I'm happy with how the job turned out. Don't hesitate to call them, but get other quotes first to compare. Gave them 4 stars because of the price, but not sure what others cost to do the same work.

Our 100-year-old spruce tree was showing signs of distress. We didn't know what to do and called several local tree services. Mike, at Garden City Tree Service, stopped by the next day on his way home from another job. He was knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. It's too soon to tell if the treatment worked, but Mike was confident it will survive.

The Wed night storm devastated our neighborhood. There were two, 80' blue spruce trees along our lot line, actually in our neighbor's lot. He is a renter. There was a third tree in their backyard which fell in 2021 and landed on the house. Since then, I've been pressuring the owner (lives in AK) to take down the trees since they were leaning. He even had a tree service look at them and they told him they needed to be cut down immediately as they were going to fall. Fast forward to the storm. They didn't fall but one was now leaning over the street and all the roots were raising up. It was clear it would fall--probably across the street--but would also pull the back one up which could possibly fall into our house or one of our neighbor's houses. A tree service for the energy company parked in front of our house and told me that it was going to fall at any time. Of course, in the face of liability, the owner OK'd having them taken down but now all the tree services were prioritizing removal of trees on houses and in streets so no one could come. On Sunday morning after three agonizing days, I saw Garden City working across the street, cutting up our neighbor's tree that had fallen on their house. I marched over and asked (begged) them to take down the tree that was uprooting. The man I spoke with said "Let me talk to (another guy) and look at it. We are only doing emergencies." Within a few minutes, they agreed that it definitely was an emergency and they would take down the worst of the two. I almost cried! I knew that they were super busy but they recognized that the situation was serious and helped us out. They took the uprooted tree down in about 30 min. They were professional, fast and cleaned up all the debris. This is a family-owned business and several of the guys are brothers. They worked together like a well-oiled machine. I can not thank them enough. Sunday night was the first night we've slept well. Those trees were outside our bedroom window! Thanks Garden City! We will have you back to take down the second tree and will recommend you to anyone who needs tree removal. You are the best!

Garden City trimmed all of our trees on our 1 1/2 acre property a few weeks ago. Some large and some small. We have been working with them for many years and have always found they do excellent work. They are fast, thorough and leave the property as they found it. I very highly recommend them for anything you need done for your trees.

Great work taking care of a large, compromised tree. And cleaned the area so well it was hard to tell they were there except for the ground stump! Awesome job!

A neighbor of ours contracted Garden City Tree Service to remove a couple trees. When they arrived I asked Justin if they would have time to do some major trimming & reshaping on one of our trees hanging over the fence into the neighbor's yard. I received a bid immediately and they piggybacked the clean up of our tree with the neighbor's job.
The 3 men did an excellent job cleaning out all the dead branches -- they were quick, very efficient, cleaned up & hauled away all branches. They worked the whole time without taking a break and were very conscientious about driving any equipment onto the lawns.

Garden City Tree Service....excellent work done quickly and neatly, very professional. My next door neighbor needed a forty foot Aspen removed from his yard and as a courtesy notified the work was being done. They finished the job in less than an hour. I was impressed because they came to the job with all the right tools to do the job professionally.

Mike answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns before any work began, and then he and the entire crew did an excellent job that exceeded my expectations. They did everything from prune and shape nearly two dozen young deciduous trees, to carefully trim three huge Douglas fir trees. Mike and his crew were very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough, and the clean-up was excellent--I would absolutely use Garden City Tree Service again!

Big job: Removal of branches of massive spruce tree, plum grove cleanup, caragana hedge reduction, reduced giant overgrown lilac bush, and aspen tree limb removal. I had two large trees fall on my house during a brief windstorm. I called 8-10 tree services with no answer and majority of their voicemail boxes full and unable to leave a request. Garden City called me back within 10 minutes of my voicemail and promptly came out within an hour. They evaluated my situation and where able to show that they fell due to negligence of a nearby construction site and had my trees down in under two hours. It was amazing. They were all extremely professional and very sympathetic to my situation. They are professional and patient when it comes to insurance claims as well. If I had more trees that could fall on my house (which I don’t anymore) this would be the company I would call every time.

Very impressed with service. I called and left a message about a sick tree. Mike returned my call within the hour. I texted photos of the problem and he answered my text within minutes and gave me good advice and potential solutions after only seeing the photos. When the tree needs further attention I will definitely call Garden City.

They came out to clean up a huge mess we had from falling trees off of our property. They were on time and super fast. The guys were very polite but friendly at the same time like you knew them for year's. They actually cleaned it better than it was prior to the job. They didn't do any damage at all and my back property looks amazing.
Next summer we will have them back to clean up branches on other trees that still need it.
We had another company huge mistake drop the trees and they just dropped them wherever with no uniform to it at all. Hence is why we didn't have them back to haul off the debris after we cut up the logs.
These guys are amazing and the type of company that we used to have back in the day that stayed true to their word and workmanship.

Dale and his crew are awesome. It is amazing how efficiently they were able to take down a 100 foot tree. They were super nice and extremely prompt. I would fully recommend them for any tree removal.

These guys came out super short notice to rescue our cat from a tree. They were so friendly and kind. We will have them back when we're ready to remove our 75' pines next to the house!

We are more than pleased with the professionalism and quality work that Dale and his crew did on the seven trees they trimmed on our Rattlesnake area home. Our home is over 40 years old and as far as we know none of the trees have been professionally cared for. They did a spectacular job and did not disrupt any of our yard or landscaping. The clean up was thorough and they completed their work in less than 1/2 a day. We think they are a great Montana company and we will use them again and recommend that our friends and fellow Missoulians call Dale if they want a company that lives up to and exceeds customer expectations.

Update: Garden City back again! Removed 2 "high risk" trees right next to the house and one other inside the yard. Stellar job! In less than 2 hours, in -out and not a trace left. Ground one stump to nothing and cut the other two for plant stands as I had asked. Can't say enough about the crew's efficiency and consideration for my property and what I wanted done. I have used Garden City at least 3 or 4 times from 1 to many trees including high risk. Each time TOTALLY satisfied. Dale is a super nice guy, and the crew does a quick and efficient job. I'm always surprised at how fast the job is completed. If you didn't have to pay them, you'd never know they were there. :) I have used other tree "companies", and Garden City is my definite go-to for any property work.

Garden City Tree Service has done a number of jobs for us in and around Missoula over the last ten years. They do a great job for a fair price and always leave a clean job site.

These men are the world’s greatest! They inspire awe. We were not just impressed with their precision felling of trees, we were amazed. We had 19 hazardous trees, larch and fir, a number of which were 70 to 100 feet tall, on a steep hillside above our cabin. Further up on the hill were a set of power lines, giving the crew a narrow corridor in which to drop big trees in a thick forest. But this did not matter to them. They dropped tree after tree after tree, perfectly, every time, exactly where they wanted to put them. There were several trees where the drop zone was extremely narrow, some right next to our cabin, and they nailed it each time. I honestly could not believe anyone was that good at felling trees, but they just kept on doing it!
They took trees which were leaning downhill directly toward our cabin, and made them fall uphill! Their grand finale was a 90 foot Douglas fir with no discernible drop zone. So they made one. Their self-imposed objective was to fell it between two baby firs and put the tip of the tree onto our driveway, without hitting the power lines, without the tree rolling off the hill onto our cabin. Those two baby firs were not more than five feet apart. Better than any NFL placekicker, they split the uprights dead center and put the tip of the tree right on the center of our driveway.
When you take their tools, technique, and teamwork, and add to that their experience, there can’t be many crews out there better than they. I admire people who are good at their craft. These men are great at it. Their work put tears in my eyes. I had been fretting about these trees near our cabin for twenty years. Finally we got the deafening wake-up call with two of these trees hitting our cabin hard last winter (2017-2018), and there were more where they came from. Time to act! Today in five hours, Dale and his crew, just made the problem vanish from the skies.

Dale and his crew did a great job if removing a large tree from our yard. The very efficient and left no mess afterward. We very impressed with their quality of work. We highly recommend them.

Garden City Tree Service removed two 40+ foot trees. One had extremely difficult access and required a boom truck working over our double garage and keeping clear of our neighbor's yard.
