If I could, I'd definitely give Roberto, Freitas Chimney Service and his helper 10 Stars! They did amazing work on my deteriorating chimney in the basement. What impressed me most was that Roberto did the work himself, he did not delegate the work to a 3rd party as so many businesses now do. I trust Roberto 100%. They will be back in the Spring to do outside foundation work. HIGHLY recommended!

Roberto and his team did a fantastic job fixing our chimney. The chimney was taken down to roof line, liner installed and chimney rebuilt with a cap. Every aspect of the project, starting from initial visit to review the falling down chimney, discussion with Roberto on different options to the completion of the repair, was as professional as I could have ever hoped for. Without a doubt, we will rely on Freitas Chimney Service for any future projects.

I can't say enough great things about Roberto and team for the work they did on our old and damaged chimney. I had called a different chimney company in the area about our leaking chimney during storms. The technician that came out didn't even go up on our roof to investigate, saw that we had a couple of popped bricks from the ground, but mostly tried to upsell us on a $5000 waterproofing solution. Wanting to get a second opinion, I saw Freitas Chimney recommended in my town's forum, and decided to give them a call. Roberto came out within 2 days, went up onto our roof, and noticed much more extensive damage (cracks, poorly patched sections, etc). A small gesture, but I really appreciated the photos and videos he took for me while he was up there; it allowed me to see the damage for myself, and immediately built trust with me. He then offered a same day quote for a rebuild (just from the roof-line, up) and waterproofing, all for less than the other company quoted for just waterproofing. Today, they just finished up the job, and we couldn't be happier. Some of the main highlights:

1. Roberto provided clear communication throughout the entire process. He was easy to text, always responded, and provided frequent updates. He's also just very personable and friendly; someone you feel like you've known for years.

2. Attention to detail was amazing. He picked a style of brick that nicely complimented our other existing chimney without me needing to ask.

3. The clean-up after the work was perfect. They power washed our roof, cleaned our gutters, and swept up all remaining debris that made its way onto the ground.

All-in-all, I highly recommend Roberto and his team for all your chimney needs. Roberto's extremely knowledgable, and has been in the chimney business for (I believe) 25+ years. Can't wait to work with him again someday!

Roberto was true to his word in every respect and he did a first rate job replacing our 40 yr old chimney. He showed up when he said and cleaned up the area every day while keeping our new roof solar panels protected despite being just feet away from the chimney. I would unreservedly recommend Freitas Chimney Services to anyone in need of chimney repair or replacement. By the way, his work ethic despite the very hot and humid weather was absolutely amazing. I don't know how he managed working on our roof for 5 days in these conditions.

Owner came out and identified roof stains near chimney to be old and pre-stainless steel replacement parts and assured me they will not reappear after new roof gets installed. Honest, ethical, highly recommend.
