I have had the best experience with C&K Roofing and General Contracting Inc. I had all my windows replaced and had my entire house done with vinyl siding. They were so professional and would always come if you need them. They were so good I had them do the vinyl siding on my Mom’s house. They also did her deck and put it in an iron railing . Full service and the best service.

Horrible experience. Hired to take out part of a wall on the staircase and replace the railings and newels. Started off with issues when I asked the owner if he would be able to start on the first of the month since that was the day after we closed and we hired someone to come finish the wood flooring. He said he would if I signed the contract by the end of the week. I did this and then a couple days before the first of the month I reached out to confirm and he responded asking who told me he would be starting on the first. He said he wouldn’t start because I never paid the deposit but in his email he didn’t mention having to pay a deposit in order to reserve a start date.
His crew messed up and cut one of the newels in a way that it shouldn’t have been cut and then just put a piece back with putty. When I called him out on it he claimed it needed to be done in order to screw it in yet they didn’t do it to the other newel. He wouldn’t acknowledge that they messed up. He said that when it got stained we wouldn’t notice it. He said if we weren’t pleased he would replace it. Our staining guy did the floors, newel, and railings and the part where they messed up on the newel looked worse than before. They didn’t bother to even try and line up the graining on the wood. I sent him the pictures of it and asked him to replace it and he said he would but he wouldn’t do the staining. This was ridiculous because it’s his fault it looked horrible and we brought it to his attention before it got stained so he had the chance to fix it. He tried just putting new pieces of wood in place of where he messed up but it was not a clean fix. My wife tried explaining what was wrong and he wouldn’t listen to her. We insisted that he fully replace it like he originally said. He finally agreed to replace and stain the newel but threatened to leave drip marks on the newel if we didn’t pay him more money. We called him out on it and he agreed to replace the newel and stain it as well. A job that he said would take around 5 days ended up taking months to do all because he went back in the agreed upon start date and would replace the mistake that was made at the beginning. Overall it was an absolutely horrible experience. If you decide to hire him have everything in writing and have an incredible attention to detail because that is something he doesn’t have.

We have now used C&K Roofing on 2 separate occasions, and both times the service and follow up were exceptional. First job was doing replacing some siding that was rotted out, along with some flashing. The second job was the installation of a new Anderson sliding glass door. Angel was our main contact and he kept us informed of the job status and progress. The team on site was professional and kept the work area clean. Even when we had an issue with the color of the Anderson door (for some reason the new Anderson doors are a shade of grey vs. pure white), Angel and Christian dug in to work understand the issue and help to find a good resolution. Could not be happier with their support and personal touch on each job.

Amazing company and owners. They were very professional and spent a lot of time helping us design a new deck and porch along with installing flooring in 3 rooms. They were able to get the work done quickly and very efficiently before we moved into our new home.Cristian showed us high quality materials and does excellent work in multiple areas. His crew was fabulous and we were was impressed with their skills and work ethic. The estimate was exactly what he billed us for which isn't always the case. He also rearranged his busy schedule to accomodate our needs. C&K Roofing is an excellent growing company as the reviews reflect. We hope to hire them for more work soon.

My family and I recently moved from the Southwest to MA. While visiting and seeing our future home for the first time, I noted two or three C&K roofing lawn signs throughout the area, took note of it and called them for an estimate once we were back in the southwest. Within a day or two, I had a detailed estimate of the work to be performed.

Note that they were initially contacted to replace the roof. After learning that they also do interior and exterior work, I requested an additional quote for a couple of other projects I had to tackle.

After getting other quotes from different contractors, I decided to go with C&K.
C&K replaced my roof, fixed the chimney, replaced garage doors, refinished hardwood floors, interior, exterior painting, and installed LVP floors in one room.

His crew was professional, punctual, and respected my home. The work was done well, and on time. We had a few hiccups along the way, and Cristian was able to work around window installer time frame. We will be reaching out to C&K for future projects. Cannot recommend them enough

C&K were amazing to work with. After a tree fell our house at 6pm they came immediately, assessed the damage and got a tarp up. Their team worked long hard days to get the roof fixed before an impending rainstorm. They were also able to do all on the interior work. They are top notch all around. I would work with them again for any house project.

C&K recently installed a new roof on the training building on our golden retriever rescue compound. The existing roof had been on for 25+ years and was in terrible condition. Once the job was completed (in surprisingly short time) the new roof looked great and the area around the building looked as though no one had been there. We were very impressed. C&K Roofing replaced the roof on our 1903 house with new asphalt shingles, including new plywood decking, felt underlayment, ice and water shield, attic ventilation, and new PVC crown moulding. We had a good experience with C&K. They were fast and effecient with the installation and cleaned things up well afterwards. Cristian and Angel were responsive over email and phone before, during, and after the project. We did have an issue with some new shrub and tree plantings, as well as a window well, being damaged by workers during the project. They did address these issues. If you have sensitive areas and plantings around your foundation, I would recommend talking through a protection plan with C&K before work commences. Besides that, a great experience and the new roof is a huge improvement.

I recommend this company! They replaced an old roof on my house and I was satisfied with the results. Professional team and management, that can listen and do some adjustments based on your needs and wishes.

We called C&K earlier this year when we discovered that the roof in our new home, which we believed was only a few years old, had started leaking. Angel came out to tarp the roof for us as a quick fix, and they scheduled us quickly after providing a quote.

We'd gotten quotes from a few different roofers in the area, and ended up going with C&K based on the reviews and the relative thoroughness of their assessment, as well as their willingness to quickly come and tarp as an interim band-aid for the pending storms before we were scheduled to have the roof done.

The work was efficiently performed, and has held up to major rainstorms and wind since then. They discovered one or two other issues with our dormers and skylight, and over the phone were able to provide a quote for the additional work if we wanted to have them do it (we did).

This was our first time getting a new roof, and the process was overall relatively painless. The cost from C&K was competitive and reflective of their premium quality of work. They came by and cleaned up nails afterwards as well. We did find a few in some difficult-to-get spots, so I'd still recommend walking around the perimeter afterwards if you have children, however we found it to be manageable and exceeded my expectations.

They did a great job of explaining the whole process to us, clearly delineating the scope of work for the project (in the explanation as well as in the quote), and had a substantial variety of color and durability choices for the shingles [CertainTeed landmark, landmark pro, and landmark premium, if memory serves].

I highly recommend them.

Fixed a Cedar Shakes Roof/fixed the interior ceiling where the leak occurred/Painted our entire downstairs/Replaced and installed an entire Bathroom, shower/tub/vanity/flooring/shiplap walls and most recently Painted our entire house exterior Inc 2 huge decks and one small balcony deck as well as installing 2 new Doors and 2 new Sliders. Our experience was great, this was our first remodel project and Cristian was very responsive and professional in dealing with our questions and needs. We had our whole kitchen remodeled and the process was as smooth as can be with great craftsmanship. Overall, we were very pleased with the work and would use C&K again.

We hired C&K to replace a very old roof and after that project hired C&K to replace our deck. We worked with both Cristian and Angel and the two projects involved entirely different crews of workers. The roofing crew was large (maybe eight workers at one point) and they were very efficient in their work. They did the entire house in just a few days and they did a great job. I think they could have done a bit better with the gutters, which one gutter lacked a connector to a downspout, and the gutters weren't completely sealed in some places so there was some dripping between the gutter and the house, but we reported the issue and Cristian had it fixed immediately.

The deck crew was smaller (two or three guys at times) and took a bit longer, but again they did a good job. The new deck is beautiful and it has made us happier with our house in general.

Both crews were friendly, respectful of our property, and they cleaned up after themselves well enough with the exception of a few shingles and nails left behind (including a roll of nails for a nail gun).

On the bonus side, Cristian also did the roof on our shed, though it was a last-minute request, and because there was some room in the dumpster, we asked and he said it was okay for us to add a bulky item on top, which was very helpful to us.

I would recommend Cristian and Angel but I would also suggest doing your homework in advance, so you know what you want. For example, I knew exactly what shingles I wanted so I didn't have to go to C&K's office to look at samples, but I wish I had known to ask for gutter covers - that topic never came up.

Cristian and his crew were great to work with! They removed two layers of siding(aluminum and wood) on our 200 year old home, repaired the exterior as needed, then installed home wrap, a layer of insulation, and new Hardie board siding on the whole house. They were reasonably priced, worked very hard, were responsive to all questions and concerns, and communicated in a timely manner. They were very conscientious about cleanup and making sure we were happy with the results. It looks great!

These guys did an excellent job, quick and efficient and at a good price. Stripped and replaced our roof in one day, and cleaned everything up so you couldn't tell they were there. Angel was great to work with. When he inspected it, he was the only person to go up on the roof, others companies just looked at it from the ground. He even sprayed around the vent for me with some Flex Seal that I had because I hadn't been able to get to the top side(didn't want to go up there it was so steep). And Kathleen in the office was very friendly and efficient too.

Installed new gutters and siding on our home that came out great. Saw they did railings too and they came back a few months later and put it new vinyl railings on our walkway and front steps. C&K Roofing & General Contracting were responsive and professional. Christian and his team were on time and properly equipped with all materials and tools and completed the job quickly and efficiently. C&K Roofing was my 4th contractor I contacted for the estimation of the roof replacing work of my house. It was Angel DeLeon who was truly sincere without attempting any tricks. The work was done on schedule within the contracted price. A week later, we found a minor problem, and C&K fixed it soon after I reported it. It was very pleasant experience.

Angel and the C&K crew were on time, did a great job, and were reasonably priced for the roof repair we needed. They went the extra mile to reaping some of the trim that had to be removed to complete the repair work. They were easy to work with, responsive to questions and professional. C&K was able to do what other contractors were way overbidding or no-bidding. This was to rebuild late ‘1800’s architecture, repair rot and paint the entire house. I and the entire neighborhood love it!

Cristian and his team were great to work with from start to finish! They were very communicative and responsive during the bidding, review and installation process. His team replaced 26 windows in our older home with new construction windows and exterior trim. The job was complicated due to existing rough openings, a mixture of exterior facade materials (stucco and shingles) and very particular window grille patterns. They also replaced red cedar side wall shingles and did an excellent job patching and waterproofing around the windows. Highly recommend and we look forward to working with them in the future.

We hired Cristian and his team to install a large fence around our property, replace the siding on our house, and fix some smaller issues inside the house, such as replacing the closet walls, re-painting the radiators, replacing our hundred year old lally columns, and installing a new bulkhead.

Despite the material shortages due to covid, he was able to get our project done in a reasonable timeframe. By the time other contractors called me back for a quote, he was already halfway done with our project. Cristian and his team are one of the most responsive contractors I have worked with, and they kept coming back until we were happy with every detail. It rained shortly after the job was finished and we had a small leak in the kitchen ceiling. Cristian and his employee got up on the 2nd floor roof and fixed it up, along with some missing shingles on our shed roof, and didn't take any payment for it.

Because every contractor is so busy these days, I would sometimes text or call him for an update on the status of the project. Cristian always kept me updated and was very honest with us about issues they encountered. We will definitely call on Cristian for our future home projects.

Cristian and his team were awesome to work with! We had water damage that spanned three rooms in my house that required fixing the walls in each of the rooms, the demo and reconstruction of a tile shower, and the demo and reinstallation of flooring using both laminate and carpet. They then painted everything to make it look fantastic. His team worked hard to make sure we got everything we wanted done the way we wanted it done. We'll definitely be using C&K again for our next project.

All the rain this year showed us a pretty bad leak around our chimney. We had C&K help with repointing and redoing the flashing. Angel was great to work with and I was pleasantly surprised with how communicative everyone I dealt with was. I’m sure they’re busy but we were able to have the work completed within a week of putting down the deposit. I would absolutely hire them for other jobs if needed.

C&K went above and beyond to take on my project and get it done quickly. Their service is friendly and well organized. I recommended them without hesitation.

As I read through C&K's other reviews, I can't help but wonder what went wrong with my project, and how so many other people seemed to have had great experiences with C&K while my experience was so opposite.

We hired C&K in March 2021 to complete a total roof removal/reinstall, total exterior repainting with power washing, and a variety of small carpentry projects including replacing ~1500 linear feet of composite trim, for a total of ~$60K.

Overall, the roofing part of the project went okay - but every other part of the project, ESPECIALLY THE PAINTING, was really substandard. I sensed that not one person on the crew had an eye for detail or precision, or took pride in their work. Here are some examples of issues we had:

- Screens were not removed from windows prior to the power washing, which caused several of the screens to be torn.
- Roofing shingles were thrown carelessly off of the roof onto decks and into garden beds, resulting in destroyed bushes and damage to landscaping and decks.
- In the "finished state", the edge of the roof had dozens of places where clear plastic cellotape was exposed from underneath the shingles.
- Trash and construction debris was left all over our property - still finding this trash and picking it up months later.
- Paint flaws, including poor sanding, poor taping, inconsistent application of primer, paint bleeding onto the wrong surface, and sloppy line work. C&K attempted to repaint our exterior doors without even removing them from the hinges, and it honestly was some of the most amateur painting work I'd ever seen, with paint splashed on the door jam, frame, hardware, glass, etc. It honestly looked like a child had done it.
- Multiple, repeated attempts to request corrections to the same issues, which seemingly were just ignored until I got tired of bringing them up.
- I was asked repeatedly to do "final walkarounds" to approve work that was obviously not done correctly. I can't express how insulting and frustrating it is to stand next to a painter who has missed entire sections of painting, and have them say, "So we're all done! What do you think?"

The last straw was that during the door painting, one of the painters somehow managed to destroy a solid brass deadbolt by attempting to remove it with an impact driver rather than a screwdriver. This kind of inexpert, amateur "DIY-style" indifference to property damage was a hallmark of C&K's work for us, and after this incident I had to issue a stop work order and terminate the contract. I ended up having to hire a separate contractor to complete the work that C&K was unable to do.

I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but facts are facts - I was charged a premium price and received poor quality work. If you are a homeowner who is particular about the quality of the work you receive, have an eye for detail, and are trying to improve the value and curb appeal of your home, I believe you will be frustrated with C&K.

I found C&K Roofing through Home advisor on a Monday. Within 10 minutes of submitting a quote I received a call from CK to set up an appointment to fix my leaky roof. Angel came to assess the repair on Wednesday, and provided a quote and repaired my roof by Thursday. Extremely professional, courteous and did the job quickly. We will definitely call CK Roofing for any future repairs. Highly recommend.

C&K General Contracting did an excellent job from beginning to end. Angel and his skilled team replaced a portion of my roof, fixed my chimney, leaky gutters and replaced trim. Kathleen provides professional, responsive office support with effective communication with written proposal and invoices. No surprises! The C&K skilled team of professionals worked very diligently to complete the work on time, within budget complete with a total clean-up. I will definitely use C&K General Contracting again for future projects on my house in Carlisle.

We had two leaks in our ceiling and contacted several places to come look at our roof and C&K was the most responsive and helpful of everyone. They did a thorough inspection and explained everything really well. They did an amazing job of explaining the problem without making me feel like it was a total disaster. When it came time to figure out the money they were great with helping us figuring out how to finance the project. They answered every question and were great through every step of having to have our roof completely redone. Will definitely be going back to them for future projects!

C&K Roofing did a good job given the very reasonable prices they have. They replaced a damaged portion of our roof after a tree fell on it. Al was very responsive to our initial request to protect the interior by tarping the damaged section and clearing out the tree debris. The repairs themselves took another 3 months to actually get going because of insurance and scheduling delays. The work they did was solid, and Angel was great at communicating with us about the steps involved and a few additional issues as those came up. The only challenge was that they were not always thorough in the first pass but did deal with any missed steps when we flagged it for them. And they did review everything with us before declaring the project was done. Having said that, we felt we got very good value for the work.

Cristian and his crew did a terrific job prepping and painting the exterior of my house. The previous owners hadn't painted the place in at least 10 years, so the paint was peeling in places and there were sills and quoins that had rotted. Not surprisingly, the scraping alone took an enormous amount of labor and time, but preparation is everything in a good paint job, and that's what you get with this company, along with attention to detail.
