I reached out for a quote on some roof repairs that I needed. Freddy was quick to respond within half an hour, and throughout all of our communications. He was early to our scheduled meeting time, knowledgeable about the needed repairs as we looked over and discussed the damage. He was timely with sending over the estimate that same night (which was laid out simply with the needed materials, the scope of work, and the planned steps to complete the project). The provided price was very fair, and he was patient with me while I was figuring out when I wanted done.
I was impressed with our whole interactions and plan to refer him to all my friends and family.

My selection for Freddy and Son was based on the reviews I read. Once I chose to go with this company, I realized that I made an excellent decision. Scheduling was a breeze, they estimated the job, kept me updated on the work and completed it very efficiently. We had Freddy and Sons replace our roof. After a a big rain storm we noticed discoloring on our ceiling. They came out and blamed it on condensation from the HVAC even though it never happened before the roof was replaced. We brought out our HVAC technician who said everything was insulated and wouldn’t condensate. They also aren’t located near the leak. It took days for the Project Manager to ever return calls. They finally just showed up one day, replaced something, and never followed up.

Fast forward to now, and it is leaking into our ceiling again. Freddy’s Admin said the PM was busy but marked it as urgent. It’s been days, and still no return call. HVAC hasn’t run in months, so you can’t blame that. It gets worse every time it rains.

I don’t like writing a poor review, but the PM is unresponsive, and I’m concerned with the water damage. They have clearly installed something improperly.

Edit- It has been a year. No one returns our calls. No one comes out to fix the issue. Our roof never leaked until they replaced it.

This team is professional and effective. They were excellent in working with my insurance and in installing a large roof quickly in one day. They have a large amount of manpower and thus have specialists for sales, finances, project management, roofing, etc. They know what they are doing and do it with a positive and professional attitude.

I contacted Freddy and son for siding repair service. They committed the work to finish it next day. They didn't show up for two days and finally called that siding is not available to them. They commit the work without checking the parts and resources are available to them for the service they are committing. I will not recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Brett at Freddy and Son Roofing for a roof replacement, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional service and the professionalism of their sales team. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and stress free.

Had a roof leak. Ricci from Freddy and Son came out right away. He assessed the damage and put tarp on the leak to prevent further damage. He was also very helpful in taking pictures of all the damage and putting together a professional report for the insurance company detailing the extent of the situation. Long story short the insurance company approved the replacement of our roof. Ricci was wonderful to work with during the entire process. He was a great communicator and kept us informed about everything. He also made himself accessible and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Ricci provided amazing customer service and was a complete professional. I highly recommend him and Freddy and Son. Any company would be lucky to have someone like Ricci on their team.

Pros: Their work is efficient and fast. Good team coordination and I was informed about each and every step. They have very knowledgeable staff.

Cons: The total price to replace architechtural roof shingles is slightly higher than most competitors that my neighbors got done and there was also out of pocket cost even after insurance provided complete coverage and extra addendum coverage (again, if this was a lower total cost to replace, which my neighbors did get). There were many legalities associated with the initial signing, including liability for any wood that needs to be replaced with $100 per board, and 10% of the total cost of repair if you try to back out after signing.

Note: Although not part of the roof shingles install, Brett Jenkins, one of the project managers came up to my house and offered to have a part of the metal cornice that was popping out to be nailed back in. However, there was no response after the promise was made.

All in all it was a good experience but not satisfactory. I would shop around for other roofers before going for Anderson and sons.

We had a great experience with redoing our siding with Freddy and Sons! They did an excellent job, the whole process was transparent and we were really happy!

This is the second roof that Freddy and Son have done for me and my family. When we moved about a year ago, we knew our new home would need a new roof sooner that later. We reached out to Marc (who helped us the first time also) and he got started right away. Marc was prompt, responsive, respectful and accommodating. He assisted us with the insurance company and gave us accurate expectations on what to expect going through the processes. The Freddy and son roofing team did an awesome job from the finance department to the maintenance team. The maintainers had my roof stripped and done in about a half a day. I was amazed by the outcome of my roof.

Initial communication was great. We hired them to replace our roof, siding, and they outsourced a chimney rebuild. Chimney went incredibly smooth. The crew was on time and finished in 1 day. Roof wen smoothly as well. Sliding and gutters…not so much. The siding crew did not replace a weather strip. The project manager thought it was siding, when it was determined it wasn’t, they just left it ‍♀️. Now it is not the same color or the same material. Additionally, as part of the original SOW they were to replace our gable vents, somehow that got missed. They are supposedly coming to fix the issues but it has been ~3-weeks and we haven’t heard from them. Overly, I am not impressed.

Robert was our rep. He was fantastic, keeping us informed, starting with the progress of our claim, through completion of the project. Installation day for our roof was stress free. They took the time to protect our yard with tarps, and any debris was removed at the end. I would not hesitate to recommend!

Great experience with every Freddy & Sons employee - from Andy in sales, the installation team and the office staff. They were helpful with our insurance company, installed a great roof and helped answer all our questions and concerns.

I just installed the roof last year but I have some problems with roof. I call and email them but they are ignored no body response no thing it been more than 3 month.but I don’t know when they came to fix the problem? I never ever see like that bad company before in my life,I never ever recommend this company any body .as soon as they took your money they don’t care about customer it totally unexpected and I totally disappointed how they treat me …..I feel so bad my self because I use this company good luck with your business

An amazing and efficient experience with Brett at Freddy and Son Roofing. I recently had my entire roof replaced through Brett and his team, and they were always on time, if not earlier to appointments, very responsive and communicative about all aspects of the roof replacement, and only wanted the best for me throughout the entire experience - urging me to go through insurance in order to have my roof fully covered by my insurance so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. I now have a beautiful new roof that came with a 50 year guarantee.

Hired Freddy and Son to fix a roof that was leaking after a storm. They are pretty good at communicating out in an emergency. They also seem to stand out behind their work. I highly recommend Freddy and Son and will definitely be using them again.

I knew it would soon be time for a new roof, but I didn’t feel like I had the bandwidth, in time or expense. Freddy & Son made it so easy. They inspected the roof and showed pictures of damage that was worse than I knew. They worked with my insurance company and created a seamless process. They explained everything, worked with my schedule, and completed my beautiful new, 50-year roof in one day. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service!

Dealt with Antoine. He is very knowledgeable about his work and has an expertise in insurance claim for roof damage. He walked us through the process and made sure we were in good hands. The roof replacement was done well, on time, and with good quality materials. The price was fair and up front. He also personally helped us with our gutter situation as well. I certainly would recommend him and Freddy n Son, and I have referred a few of my neighbors.

As with any service provided, the process was not perfect. There were very minor issues that we had to point out to Antoine and his team, from the day of installation to the billing's department. All in all, it worked out fine. I recommend this roofing company.

Ricci was our sales rep. He was so personable and we liked him immediately. He was knowledgeable about the process and walked us through everything. Our job was delayed by approval from our HOA. As the sales rep and having made the sale, he could have moved on but he never did. He kept checking on us and answered any questions we had promptly. He connected us with Antoine and Annalisa as needed and they could not have been nicer. When we finally got HOA approval (the color of the shingles was different than originally installed) They job was done quickly and beautifully. We could not be happier with the job done and the color we chose. In addition, Ricci and Antoine helped us secure the release of the remaining funds our insurance was dragging their feet on when they provided pictures of the job in progress in order to show the layers underneath that aren't visible once the shingles are added. For the first time in a LONG time we were pleased with everything and everyone we dealt with from start to finish. A new roof is not an inexpensive thing but Freddy and Son Roofing made it easier because everyone was so pleasant and communicative. We were never left wondering what was going on and Ricci was a big part of that.

My experience with Freddy & Sons was excellent. Herbie was the sales lead and immediately made me feel comfortable in looking at getting an entire new roof. I've always been skeptical of these companies claiming the home owner doesn't have to pay for the roof and the insurance company will - well, I'm no longer skeptical. I didn't pay a dollar out of pocket. Freddy & Sons works directly with your insurance company to inspect the roof, file the claim, etc. Everyone I dealt with at Freddy & Sons was professional and responsive. I needed a few minor tweaks after the new roof was installed, and they had a guy there the next day and communicate via text which is nice. The repair guy, Job, is professional and respectful of your property as well. I highly recommend Freddy & Sons.

Freddy and Son performed a flat roof inspection on a house we were looking at buying, and we later went to them to replace the roof after we closed on the house. They did the inspection on short notice. We were not familiar with flat roofs, and they answered all our questions and explained the pros and cons and what to look out for, as well as the issues with this particular roof, which needed replacing.
When it came to replacing the roof, they were thorough and helpful walking us through the process and what to expect. After the initial inspection, they did come back and suggest a few other issues to fix for an additional cost, which we agreed to because they explained it well. They were able to get us on the schedule for installation much sooner than the other roofers we talked to (2 weeks out instead of 4-6). There were some minor miscommunications between their scheduling/billing team and the project manager, but overall everyone was friendly and professional to work with.

Freddie and Sons Roofing is an excellent company that goes above and beyond for its customers. I contacted them when we discovered the roof was leaking after a snow storm. My Grandmother was dying and on her death bed at the time, so the roof issue couldn’t have happened at a worse moment. A crew came to tarp the roof immediately after inspecting for damage. They even worked with our insurance company to perform an inspection. I didn’t have to pay a thing for the repairs aside from upgrades we chose to make. They did excellent work. Don’t think twice before giving them a call. You won’t regret it.

We had them replace our entire roof but this company has no supervision and when there is problem, it's hard to communicate with the workers on site and hard to have their "project manager " reply on time (replied me 3 weeks later on phone). Their estimate is higher than other companies but they promised they will use more materials as well as additional pictures when we needed. They did took 18% extra materials away after the job done without consulting with us ( which add up about cost of 4k). We would satisfy if they make amends to their mistake but instead they blame us not stating clear what we want on the contract and trying to charge more for repair. The photo is how much materials they are taking AWAY when the job done, but they still billed us on the beginning. Terrible experience!

We started our process in May with Freddy and Son Roofing by working with Andrew Delafield of Freddy and Son Roofing. He came out and did a thorough inspection of our roof over the house and garage. After a lengthy discussion and by his suggestions we decided right there to have Freddy and Son Roofing take over. They worked on our behalf with our insurance company and even warned us that our insurance company could fight us the whole way...Andrew gave us a "heads up" of what to prepare for if they wanted to push back. Martin was great! Great communication and was on time with appointment. He patiently walked me through all the options, the process, the materials and why they use them. I didn’t feel pressure and due to my wife working late I text him to let him know we would like to go ahead on the roof at 9pm and he immediately responded!!

We decided to replace our gutters and downspouts. Yelp referred us to a couple businesses. Freddie and Sons replied almost immediately and even though after hours, Martin worked with us to establish a contract. I contacted Martin a couple times with questions a received very quick replies. The installers showed up as scheduled and did a great job! After completion, they ensured that the area was thoroughly cleaned. They even added a nice touch by extending the downspout enough to reach my splash block. We will definitely consider Freddie and Sons for any future exterior home needs.

Steven and Edward from Freddy & Son did an amazing job from the very beginning (c/o Steven) all the way to the end (c/o Edward and his team) in installing my new roof, gutters, and metal roof. I used to be involved with several " home improvement " companies.. They all say they have the best service, the best crews and the best product. Almost every company I know of is concerned about making as much money off you as they can- even if it's way more than a fair price. Everyone I dealt with at Freddy And Sons was truly professional. Mike ( the sales rep ) didn't waste my time with a bunch of nonsense. He was very " matter of fact " about everything. He explained the Owens Corning roof warrantee exactly as it appears on Owens Corning's website. Mike is very polite and professional and he didn't play the typical sales games. Martin is the sales manager and he was extremely polite and upfront about everything I could expect from Freddy and Sons Roofing. Everything he said would occur did in fact occur as he stated. The guys ( and one lady ) who tore off my old roof and installed the new one were impeccable. It's true. Edward is the Project / Service manager and he runs a tight ship. The crew was on time. They all worked to complete my job as neatly and quickly as possible. After finishing the job the crew not only did a fantastic job of clearing all the mess off my property, they even took the time and care to clean up and remove the old shingles that got hung up in my trees.
I know it really hurts to spend 1,000's of dollars and not get what you were told to expect. That won't happen if you hire Freddy and Sons. They truly did a fantastic job from my initial inquiry about their services to the job completion.

Had siding and new gutters Installed on my townhouse. Everything went well. Siding was done in one day. Martin my sales rep, Mr Edward and Mr David and crew did an excellent job.

They replaced the gutters on my elderly Mother's house just today. Martin was professional (and very tenacious) and patient with us through the whole process. It may have just been gutters but he understood it's a lot of money for my Mother and he kept me in the loop the entire time, even with me co-ordinating everything from Canada! The contractor contacted the owner of Freddy and Son on my behalf because of was unsuccessful in receiving reasonable quotes from other companies. I also had difficulty finding a contractor willing to work with my homeowner’s insurance company.
Freddy and Son sent Ryan Martinez, Project Manager to my residence and Ryan worked with me and my insurance company and sorted out the specifics to replace my roof. Ryan proceeded with excellence and professionalism and resolved all issues regarding the roof replacement in a timely manner. It’s very important to mention there was no pressure to contract with Freddy and Son. Ryan exhibited care and concern for me to receive the best quality product at a reasonable price. He was very thorough as he explained the whole roofing process to me and the insurance representative on more than one occasion.
Since this was such a big job I was overly concerned about the price and any additional costs associated with replacing the roof. Ryan and his team assured me that if any discrepancies should arise between Freddy and Son and the insurance company related to the costs it would be taken care of. As a result, I received full payment for the replacement of my roof as well as the supplemental payment needed for damaged items that were noted during the construction.
Freddy and Son provided me the best quality roofing shingles, equipment, and material. I received GAF Asphalt shingles with the 30-year Golden warranty. The underlayment was upgraded, and all pieces of material associated with the roof was newly replaced. In addition, I only paid half price for the plywood that was needed to repair the roof.
I’m very pleased with my new roof. The construction crew was timely, professional, respectful and very attentive to my roofing needs and requests. They even corrected extra stuff not in the contract.

If you need new roof.. seek no more! Very please with Freddy and Son service! Mostly because I was treated more like family than a regular client! Freddy walked me through the process and explained everything and ensured I was happy and satisfied! I will be continuing to seek his professionalism and expertise!

We contacted Freddy and Son Roofing for an estimate on our leaky skylight. Our house has a flat roof so finding a skylight which could open was quite a challenge. Freddy and Son Roofing was the only company not only to give us a suitable option BUT also the lines of communication were very open. However, they were the most expensive. Gene was my representative and he was always available to text or call throughout the duration of this entire process! Gene and I spoke a lot about the type of skylight that could be installed. However, we hit a bump when the wrong skylight was installed. But after calling the main office, Edward reached out to fix it. And he did! Not only was the proper skylight installed but he graciously upgraded our skylight to a solar one! And of course Gene followed up! The new installation went so smoothly and I am loving the new skylight! It's so futuristic. Even though everything didn't go perfectly I am impressed with how they fixed everything properly. I will definitely be using them in the future!
