My water heater leaked and ruined my flooring. Frank Fabio company came in and took care of everything. I have never been so impressed with a company to be so thorough about everything. I ended up upgrading my flooring that I originally had and I am so happy with the flooring that I chose. They made it so easy for me and I had to do very little to make it happen.

I had Frank Fabio work on my kitchen due to water damage ( information given to me by my insurance ) I thought the work was good so we wanted to hire out for a sunroom since they said they have kits. We had 30k for this project and were quoted and everything. 6 months go by, no contact, no nothing, im in the middle of my sisters funeral in the Philippines and bam. Onslaught of text messages saying I haven't finished paying them.

I get back to states set up payment with them and months later they tell me im still not done paying and they didn't take the final payment out because they can't do that even though I had already given them my card information and set up payments.
I tell the guy ok let's set up payments with the bill split in 2 payments.

For 2 weeks I get messages from some guy asking for my CC information that leveled on unprofessional and creepy.

This went from us willing to spend 30k on a sunroom to them begging for 1500 and never even following up on the fact that they completely bailed on a project and
1 year later I can see the seams in my kitchen ceiling and I had to hire someone to fix it.

All they do is hire sub contractors for their work, get online and find your own- this is just a middle man

2 years ago I started yo work with Frank Fabio. Chad came out to look at the job and then Matt came out to bid my kitchen ceiling and bathroom remodel. The kitchen ceiling was fixed and had knockdown completed by their sub. The sub contractor did an a great job. After that, I continued to reach out to Matt Snyder about starting my bathroom remodel.
I continued to get lots of excuses with the last one that he had a family issue and I was then told by Chad they would not be able to do the job. Just backed out like I had done something wrong. Fast forward my ceiling I had textured has a small stain possibly from the previous stain. Matt recently came out to look at it. While he was here I gave him an earful of why they backed out of my bathroom and why he couldn't take it on now. Matt never gave a exact reason but just kept saying they wouldn't take on the job. He also doesn't remember a specific family issue for backing out except he had several. That's unfortunate, but not professional and then to tell me how he didn't remember it. Pfff. Maybe stick to fire restoration and not back out of the other jobs. After looking at some of the pictures of their work I'm happy it didn't work out. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

TO BE CLEAR, MY KITCHEN CEILING WASNT THE MAIN ISSUE FOR MY REVIEW. THE FACT THAT MATT AND CHAD BACKED OUT OF REMODELING MY BATHROOM SITING FAMILY ISSUES FOR MATT THAT KEPT COMING UP. HOWEVER THEY CONTINUED TO TAKE ON OTHER JOBS. I HAD ONE OTHER COMPANY COME OUT THAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY ALSO RECOMMENDED. THEY ATLEAST DIDN'T BID MY BATHROOM, LIKE MATT FROM YOUR COMPANY DID AND THEN NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE WORK! JUST KEPT UP WITH EXCUSES. MATT STILL HAD EXCUSES WHEN YOU CAME BACK TO LOOK AT MY KITCHEN CEILING. I ASKED AGAIN TWO YEARS LATER WHY YOU BACKED OUT OF DOING MY BATHROOM. I HAVE SINCE FOUND A LOCAL GUY TO TAKE ON MY FAIRLY SIMPLE TOWNHOME BATHROOM REMODEL. SO AGAIN I ONLY HAD ONE OTHER COMPANY OUT, AND THEN FOUND SOMEONE. DON'T OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER.

We worked with Frank Fabio Construction to restore our kitchen ceiling and repair a shower failure. The entire project began on October 1st. Our only positive experience with this companis that they managed to fix the ceiling. Everything went downhill after that. To start, it took them 2 weeks to have an electrician re-install the kitchen lighting, leaving us with minimal lighting to navigate our kitchen in.

Secondly, to install tiles in the shower, they hired a subcontractor. After the subcontractor finished the job, we were appalled by how unacceptable the work was : messy grouting especially around the shampoo shelves, crooked tiles and crooked tiles not redone. To be frank, we probably could have done a better job finishing this as a DIY job ourselves instead of hiring these "professionals". We later found out that this subcontractor had never tiled a shower before (one would assume that they would send someone experienced to represent their company, not an amateur). It then took 3 weeks for them to rectify the issue and send another subcontractor to demolish and fix the work of the first job. The issue was only "resolved" after repeated complaints about the long timelines and bad work,.

When the second subcontractor came, he kicked off the tiling super well, but due to rushing from them to get to another job, he botched the last 20% of the project. His work was so sloppy, that after yet another set of complaints, they had to call him back to fix his own work. From start to finish, the entire process took 4 months. If you're looking for a professional, responsible, and efficient service, this is not the place to get it based on our experience. It was a total waste of money, time, and resources working with this company and we highly advise you go somewhere else.

Outstanding Service from Frank Fabio Company!

I cannot recommend Frank Fabio Company enough, especially Matt Brown and Chad Nevland. They went above and beyond for us through an incredibly difficult home repair situation.

It all started when our kids flooded their bathroom. Frank Fabio took care of everything—water damage, new toilets throughout the house, a new vanity and flooring in the kids’ bathroom, and repairing/repainting our laundry room below. Their work was excellent, so we knew we could trust them.

Then came a nightmare experience with Window Nation. It all started from my son throwing a rock through one of our basement windows, and after multiple bids, we went with Window Nation to replace all of our windows throughout the entire house (a pricey investment to say the least). They installed our new windows on the coldest day of the year, damaging our siding and leaving a mess of caulk on every window inside and outside. To say the least, we were not impressed, and it seemed worse than what we had to begin with. When we tried to get them to fix or replace the siding, they refused. We had no choice but to file an insurance claim for new siding through Frank Fabio.

On the first day of siding removal, Frank Fabio's Siding Specialist made a shocking discovery - our windows weren’t installed properly or even up to code. They warned us that they couldn’t warranty their siding work unless the windows were corrected. Window Nation denied any wrongdoing, forcing us to get a lawyer involved. After nearly a year of fighting, meetings with Window Nation’s Area Manager, the Soft Lite window manufacturer, and legal teams, they finally admitted fault and agreed to replace all the windows.

Meanwhile, we lived in a home with no siding through a full Minnesota year of snow, rain, and wind, leading to extensive water damage. Even then, Window Nation continued to delay and send unqualified third-party contractors who did nothing to fix the damage.

Through all of this, Frank Fabio Company stood by us. They provided key documentation for our lawyer, recommended legal support, and were a constant source of guidance. When it came time to repair the water damage inside, they didn’t just push expensive fixes—they actually walked us through how to handle some repairs ourselves to save money.

Matt Brown, Chad Nevland, and the entire Frank Fabio team are the definition of integrity, professionalism, and true customer service. They are everything Window Nation is not. If you want a company that stands by its work and its customers, Frank Fabio Company is the one to call.

The roofing company provided a one-year warranty on my roof replacement. Shortly after the warranty expired. Not long after, mold issues began which was even more costly. While I didn’t live at that location I found out after 1 year after the fact. When I contacted them, they repaired the problem but then sent me a bill that was $2000.00 They asked me if I was tampering with the roof, which I did not do. I asked them multiple times if they could help me out with this bill, they refused. They do not stand by their work. Beware of this Company. They are known in the industry of not providing quality workmanship.

Frank Fabio replaced our roof after a hail storm a few years back. Matt Brown and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job in terms of communication, follow through and craftsmanship. In the past few years, I've had some questions here and there, and Matt Brown has always been extremely helpful and responsive...even coming to the house to take a look at my issues, and he has never charged me a penny. If you have a chance to work with Frank Fabio, and you don't do it, you're making a mistake.

On Christmas Day, we discovered a leak in our powder room while hosting guests. The next morning, I contacted Matt Brown of Frank Fabio, who had previously helped us with an issue at no charge. His honesty brought me back. He responded immediately and arrived at 6:30 a.m. the following day, knowing we were leaving town. He arranged for a plumber that day and scheduled drywall repair and painting while we were away. We returned to a perfectly restored ceiling—like nothing ever happened. Excellent communication and workmanship! We'll definitely use them again (hopefully not too soon!).

Ultimately we are pleased with the work completed by the company, however, we would not hire them again. They had too many jobs to complete without enough workers. Matt Snyder did not follow up on his own timelines until prompted by me about the next steps. I truly feel like I became the project manager instead of him. I would have had much more grace for him if he just told me the situation instead of giving me excuses and attempting to gaslight me into believing that my husband and I were the roadblock. After the company hired another guy, the job was finished quickly and done to our standards. If you choose to work with this company, I’d recommend that you get a timeline in writing and withhold payment until the job begins so that you aren’t stuck waiting on them while they hold your deposit. Our job was relatively small (could have been finished in 1-2 weeks) but took approximately a year to complete.

We have used Frank Fabio's services twice. The first time was about 5 years ago and things went ok. Overall the experience was good with a few difficulties on their end - which isn't unusual on larger jobs.
In April this year we contracted with them again for a basement water mitigation and carpet, etc.. replacement. The initial water mitigation and removal of the old carpet, pad and affected baseboard went fine.
We were told at that time by Chad (who has always been great to deal with) that it would most likely be 6 months before they could finish because of how busy they are.
Jump forward 3 months to July 2024 and, as per their suggestion, we checked in to see if the original 6 month time estimate was still the plan. Matt (we have not had a great experience with him on either job) had still not sent in the estimate to our insurance company. As you might expect - insurance companies need the estimates in a reasonable amount of time - not in excess of 3 months. He then contacted us several days later to say they would not be completing our work. After a 3 month wait and willingness to wait 6 months total - they just dumped us. We have no doubt this was due to them choosing a larger, more profitable job instead. Matt actually said the reason was "A good company that is concerned about customer service will not take on any work they don't think they can finish".
I think the time for that discussion should have been in April - not after their company (through Chad) committed to doing the job. They also were paid already for the beginning work they did in April - so it made it very easy for them to not keep up their business commitment to us.
I am a small business owner (check Parrot Island MN - to see our reviews) and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. It shows a lack of commitment to their customers.

I sustained water damage to my home and contacted Frank Fabio Co. The team was fabulous. They kept in constant communication with me during the repair process. They promptly responded and got my home dried out. They then went above and beyond in ensuring quality work was completed. I am thankful I chose FFC for my repairs. I highly recommend them. They are a company of integrity and I am very satisfied with the results.

*** PROCEED WITH GREAT CAUTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE FRANK FABIO COMPANY. ***

We have lived at our home since 1995 and done business with countless contractors and sub-contractors for home improvement projects over 24 years. We have been very pleased with everyone to date, except Frank Fabio Company. My advice, if you hire this company, is:

- Be present on site at all times when sub-contractors are there. One example of this is when I had to stop the roofing crew on the barn before they were going to cover fire-damaged wood framing and shingles. There should be oversight on jobs to ensure that the sub-contractors are doing the work correctly and not cutting corners.

- Ensure that the employees are professionals and not teenagers who are inexperienced and don't know how to do a job correctly. Frank Fabio Company hired a sub-contractor who used his teenage children to do roofing and garage building.

Other people who worked in construction were doing jobs at our property during this time, and pointed out the basic errors in roofing and trim work. Although Frank Fabio Company did, ultimately, fix these issues, they shouldn't have happened in the first place if experienced builders and roofers had been used.

- Plan for jobs to be incomplete; and to have to spend a considerable amount of time reminding Frank Fabio Company of things that should have been done right the first time. First, this job that I was told would take five months stretched into 14 months. Second, an example of incomplete work is of the subcontractor who was hired to remove the debris from the fire who did not finish the job to which he was assigned in May 2018. Items that were burned were never taken the first time that the subcontractor was here for debris removal. It wasn't until June 2019 that all the debris was removed. Had it been done right the first time, multiple trips would not have been necessary.

- Look over the final statement that Frank Fabio Company provides to ensure you are not double-billed or billed for jobs that are not done. Over $2,400 in costs related to the barn were ones that I had paid for and that Frank Fabio Company did not do. Although this was adjusted, what concerned me then and still does is the fact that multiple charges for items I had paid for were even on the bill in the first place. Had I not looked closely, this money - in essence - would have been stolen from me.

- Expect push-back from Frank Fabio Company for following-through with their request to do a "punch list" of items that need to be addressed before the job is complete. I was told multiple times throughout the job by three different employees of Frank Fabio Company to create a "punch list" of items that needed to be addressed towards the end of the job. When I presented this short list, one of the employees balked about these "last minute" jobs. A "punch list" is exactly that: jobs that were improperly or incompletely done that need to be fixed before the job is closed out.

- Anticipate outrageous charges for some elements of the project. For example, I was charged $100 to paint an electrical box on a barn. I anticipated that this charge would be a fair one because an employee from Frank Fabio Company implied that special paint or treatment would be required. Therefore, I agreed to it.

As it ended up, the job did not require any special preparation or paint. The painting crew simply spray-painted over the electrical box and conduit with their paint sprayer. I was at home when they were painting the barn, and it took them less than a minute to spray over the box and conduit. It did not cost them $100 in paint or labor to do this.

I chose Frank Fabio Company partly because of a statement on its website: "FFC, Inc. has earned a reputation for honesty, integrity, and ethical standards." Dealing with Frank Fabio Company showed me the opposite in terms of honesty, integrity, and ethical standards.

Again, proceed with great caution!

Frank Fabio Company has been an absolute dream to work with. We had an unfortunate sequence of events happen in our 100 year old home that resulted in damage. From the moment we started the process with them it was a breath of fresh air and sigh of relief. Answered calls, emails and questions - honest representation on timelines, price and work quality. Honesty, empathy and patience sums them up. All their employees and subcontractors are great, the quality of the work is amazing. I would recommend them and use them 100x over. Thank you to each and every single one of the individuals that helped us put our house back together and delivered.

Frank Fabio Company was recommended to me by another person who had water damage in their home. My condo unit had water damage and when I called them they immediately jumped into action to help me through this process. Throw in Covid 19 virus challenges, etc.... My experience working with this company was very positive and I too would recommend them to others. Each contractor that I worked with was professional, caring, friendly and did outstanding work. Definitely consider working with this company. I will certainly do so if the need arises.
