Probably the most incompetent lumber yard I have ever been to. Phones were off the hook for a month, now they just flat won't answer them. The staff is inconvenienced by you being there, and are completely clueless. Tried to call corporate to get information, and they are just as worthless. Try to get to customer service, and you get a mailbox that is full, so you can't even leave a message. Another run down Family Dollar would be an improvement over this place.

So my wife is a travel nurse I called Foxworth explaining my situation they said they normally don't bring on seasonal help but because I was honest they hired me and now I've decided to live here. The help I've got from several supervisors as well as coworkers has been absolutely heart warm

Another typical example of a NO F:;?S given entity occupying space and stealing your money in the land of enchantment. Not very complicated how brain cells and least prosperous states go hand in hand . DON’T waste your hard earned time and money here .
Talk is cheap , verifiable undeniable actions and lack of accountability are the bases of this review .

Went in to get 9 keys made. The man who made them did an excellent job! While waiting I looked at their flowers and found my favorite Pansys. Those have been hard to find in Ruidoso. They looked pretty healthy. Good price for them too. Check out was good. People are friendly.

I love this lumber yard today I bought deadbolts and door knobs the little lady was wonderful made it a one key to fit all great customer service as always kiddos to the staff... cheers

Its a good place to shop people are friendly and employs are helpful prices are approximately same as. Home depot in roswell

Great local hardware store. The customer service can be a little salty at times, but I've never had any issues. I've shopped here often. The experience of buying lumber here FAR surpasses any experience I've ever had at a big box store. You just tell 'em what you want then drive around back to get it. You pull up directly the pile.You'll never have to load some awkward cart with your lumber, beg for help from some high school kid who desperately wants to avoid you, and then drag the whole thing 500 yards through the parking lot to your truck as you would at a big box store.

I have tried twice now to buy an entire kitchen's worth of cabinets and spend a LOT OF MONEY but the " cabinet lady", Jeanette, simply refuses to work with me , return calls or check on prices for me. I have heard others say the same. Do you guys want to make sales or not??? I won't be trying anymore. I have taken my business elsewhere TWICE NOW. Don't waste your time here!!

As the customer I had to greet the workers, thought it should be the other way around. But oh well, the young fella that help load my material was pretty kind.

George helped me find the right belt for our sander. He saved me a lot of time and did it with a smile! I appreciate their customer service. Its always well stocked. They have good sales and a nice return policy. Excellent shopping!

A lifetime ago I used to spend a lot of time in our local lumber yard when my father was building home after home. I was the "gofer" all summer long while still in school and then for years after while I learned the business. Back then, the guys (and a few women ) that worked there knew your name, who you worked for, and whether you drank coffee or needed 10¢ for the Coke machine in the yard (yes, a bottle of Coke was a dime!). Over the years the were forced to close by companies like Home Depot & Lowes. The experience was never the same again for me. My first visit to Foxworth-Galbraith brought back some of those memories. The staff inside didn't know me, but they were quick to help, were extremely friendly, and being retired now, made sure to remind me about senior specials on certain days if I was looking to save a few bucks. The guys in the yard were just as helpful. No wondering aimlessly thru the store or yard with no one around for miles to help (like I've experienced more times than I can count in the "big box" lumber yards), someone is always right there to help, or to get the right person you need. I've been back several times since my first visit. They still don't know my name, but it doesn't matter. The service is just as if I was an old friend. What more could you ask for.

The staff is courteous they know where everything is and very willing to show you it's clean and just enjoyable every time you visit.

If you like lumber yards like they used to be, this is the place. The staff there will help with any of your needs. The guys in the yard are always there to help you load. Prices are better than the big guys in Alamo on a lot of the items.

Nice people, small town. They try but do not have everything like Home Depot or Lowes. People are nice. Buying lumber is another issue, poor selection and picked out. It's hard to find straight boards. The system is not easy. you either pre buy the lumber and take a leap of faith that it's any good or you go through the yard and select and load your lumber but your vehicle has to stay in the yard before you get a receipt from the counter inside with the items so the the gate keeper can check your cargo.
I've gotten burned with this process and wound up with bad lumber. Other wise the store caters to you you well.

We started our new deck 7 weeks ago and figured we spent around $3700 on our endeavor 95% or that at Foxworth. Doing all the work ourselves was a bit taxing but it turned our very well. Virginia was our primary go to person and her 5 star service was very much appreciated.

Like our store here. Sometimes checkout is backed up though. Most all reps friendly and that goes a long way with me. Can always count on yard guys for help. . Glad to have our outside sales rep too, Victor. Yard procedures and returns all good. Appreciate and participate in the vendor fairs. Helpful to the contractor, like the contractor order crew and account service for my clients.

Was exemplary as always. Had what I needed, at a fair cost, and the staff was helpful and friendly. PERFECT!

We have remodeled our kitchen, master bath, and living room and highly recommend Foxworth-Galbraith in Ruidoso for the design and purchase of cabinets and supplies. Janette Richardson is AWESOME at listening to your needs and designing rooms to turn out just as you have dreamed. We can't wait to remodel the remaining rooms in our house and Foxworth-Galbraith in Ruidoso is where we will begin.
