Four Seasons Roofing & Restoration

I don't usually write reviews, but I'm making an exception because I was so very impressed by Four Seasons Roofing and Restoration.

A bit of background: I live in southwest Durham in an older home (built in 1964.) I knew it was getting time to replace the roof again, and then a tree fell on part of it during hurricane season this summer. My insurance company sent me a flat check for all damages, so I was still on a budget and trying to get the best value for my money with a variety of contractors repairing different things.

I contacted several companies for estimates to repair or replace the roof. Four Seasons Roofing and Restoration impressed me from the start with their promptness and professionalism in getting back to me, coming out to survey the damages, and responding quickly with a written estimate. They also gave me the lowest estimate of the four companies I contacted. Sometimes it feels like the lowest estimate might be too good to be true, but two things made me decide to go with with Four Seasons. The first was their credentials and guarantees (they are GAF certified, and they offered a lifetime warranty on both the materials and workmanship). The second thing is that I work in trades and have good instincts about whether contractors are trustworthy and know what to look for in terms of professionalism. With Four Seasons, there were no hard-sells, extravagant promises, or shameless self-promotion -- which unfortunately was not the case with most of the other contractors I contacted. Dennis from Four Seasons was frank, transparent, ready with facts, and business-like from the get-go.

It took me a while to get the funds from my insurance company, but as soon as I had the check deposited and got back in touch with Four Seasons, they were ready to go. Of course roof work always depends upon the weather, but I met with them to pick out a shingle color and make a deposit on a Wednesday, materials were delivered on Thursday, and the roof was replaced on my house (an 1800 sq. ft., 1.5 storey home - including some spots of rotten decking) within 12 hours on that Friday.

Roof work is never quiet, but I was impressed with how respectful, considerate, and diligent the crew was. Often a jobsite becomes more noisy than necessary, with crews blasting radios or yelling to be heard above the noise of tools and compressors. There was nothing like that with the Four Seasons crew. They were pleasant and cheerful, but got right down to business and went about their work without incident - and cleaned up after themselves at my house better than some of my friends do.

All work was completed exactly according to specs. It rained very hard the next day, but there no more leaks and everything looked exactly as it should. The lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship give me real peace of mind.

Rarely have I had a more satisfying and enjoyable experience with crews or contractors, and I enthusiastically recommend Four Seasons Roofing and Restoration to anyone who needs roof repairs or replacement.

Dennis performed a roof inspection for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the service. Extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He was good enough to answer all our questions and guide us through the process.

Had a great experience with Four Seasons Roofing. Dennis was very professional and explained exactly what we could expect from start to finish...so there were no surprises. The roofing crew was exceptional. They were on time, worked tirelessly, and left the outside of the home spotless throughout the project. We couldn’t be happier with our new roof and Four Seasons Roofing.

Time wise they didn't show up when they said but did show up for the money! Didn't do as they said on repairs, wouldn't give an exact price and sent a clown to repair the inside. NEVER returned my call. They were untruthful about the insurance claim. So I have unfinished inside repairs.Heath likes his names in the review... I would not use them or recommend them.

David was very professional, polite and courteous. He showed us damage that we didn't know we had and he is getting us get our roof replaced. Great company!!

Great local roofing company! Quality work, done efficiently!! They are very easy and personable to deal with and handle everything in a timely manner. This company will handle everything if it is an insurance related claims and are knowledgeable in this area. Easiest home repair I've had done. If you are unsure of any needed repairs or replacement, they are happy to come take a look and give you an estimate.

Dennis Bland with Four Seasons Roofing has been amazing during the process of my experience with getting my roof replaced. I highly recommend their company to do all work needed around your home especially the roof!! Dwayne Ross a very happy customer!

Dennis was very respectful and professional during this whole process. This was my first roof that was needing to be replaced. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest because I've never had to go through my insurance company. Dennis took care of everything for us and made this painless.

The crew that came to our house to do the work was also friendly. They offered to help my wife carry in groceries and even cleared a path for her to get into the house as the old roof was laying in the way. I was raised up on respect and it's always good to see the guys try to help when they can.

The overall finish of the roof looks great. Our roof has been on for about 3 weeks now and have not had any leaks. The only thing I recommend is that the homeowners look to pick up nails after the crew has left. They did a good job, but you as the person caring for the property will do a better job as they can not not spend hours looking for every single nail.

Absolutely wonderful company to work with, it literally took them 1 1/2 days to replace my roof and repair a lot of damage. I would recommend 4 seasons to anyone needed work done. Roof looks fantastic
