I received a call from the owner to resolve the problem. I can appreciate her effort to correct any misunderstanding that had taken place. My experience with this company has been HELL I was mislead in signing what I thought was permission to check my roof not for them to work. My mother had just passed I asked Tom to wait I wasn't ready to do business I was already distraught. They are now harassing me saying I owe them 20% I advise anyone doing business with them have a lawyer you will need it they are out for money at all cost. I'm disabled on SSD what can I give them!!

This is a partial review of the new roof Fortress installed on my house. The roof looks great, the work crew were professional and worked steadily for a day and a half. There is some inside work still to be completed, so it's possible the rating will change, but so far so good.

To say that not all roofing companies are created equal is an understatement, especially in this review, and this particular company. I’m a father of three amazing women that can do anything they put their minds to, why do I say this? Because this is a woman owned and operated roofing company that at the end of the day is the best Florida offers; and there is zero competition to this company here in Jacksonville. From the head office to the employees that will be on your roof it is operated with excellence.

Joseph, Kirk, and Stacy came to my house and helped me with the entire process. The customer service is above and beyond. They helped me every step of the way. I would highly recommend Fortress to anyone who thinks they may have damage and not sure of the process. They made sure I was well informed. They are very communicative. There are a few things my insurance company required of me that I was not sure how to do. They took time to come to my house after hours to help me. Absolutely impressed. Stellar service.

I had a tremendous experience with fortress Stacy was very thorough throughout the whole process and walked me through each and every step the process only took two months which was insane because most of my friends dealing with different company’s were taking half a year or more thank y’all for y’all’s help it was a great experience!!!

They offered free inspections around the area they were doing work in. They said my roof was in good condition, no haggling or finding phony problems. I mentioned a future project I was wanting to work on, they offered to help find out more information for me. Great guys plus they are local!

I wanted to share my experience with Fortress Roofing and Construction. My roof and fascia were 19 plus years old so we had both replaced. I have two priorities when hiring a company, skill and communication. I received both with them. Joseph, Kirk and Andrew were very relatable and available. Andrew, the project manager was on site and answered all my questions. Kirk and Joseph came by during the job to see how everything was going. They could see the joy and relief on my face! The young group of workers and their leaders were experienced and worked well together! Major work on your home can be very stressful but I was relieved when I met the team. They did a great job and cleaned up everything at the end. My roof is Amazing and was inspected during and after the job and passed with no adjustments needed. I was comfortable during the job because the workers knew what they were doing and were very efficient. Thank you Fortress Staff and your workers!
