Great company, start to finish. They are thorough and knowledgeable - their tech provided pictures and explanations for all issues. They even recommended getting 2nd opinions. They were punctual, communicative and did a thorough repair job. Not the cheapest, but I think we're getting the quality we're paying for.

We had a great experience with Formula Roofing. They were referred by a neighbor and didn't disappoint. On time. Good communication. Explained everything in detail before doing the work, and after the work was done. Very satisfied with using Formula Roofing.

The Formula Roofing team did a fantastic job completing repairs and maintenance to our concrete tile roof. They were very thorough and took time to educate us on lifecycle concerns and provided recommendations for future maintenance. We feel we are now set up to get the most life and value out of our roof. We would definitely hire them again in the future and recommend Formula Roofing to others for any roofing needs. They also do remodeling but we have yet to experience those services.

Our Project Manager Jonathan Emanuel and his team at Formula Roofing were fantastic! He helped us to navigate the insurance claim from hail damage, was available any time I had a question, and was polite and courteous from start to finish. And when we discovered an issue with a skylight, he went over and above to make sure that he presented some possible solutions, and made sure the work was done quickly and done right. Tynan from Formula Roofing was absolutely outstanding! After Allstate fought me for nearly 11 months on replacing my roof, I handed the battle over to Tynan. He was relentless! He personally climbed onto the roof multiple times with adjusters, expertly pointing out damage they had missed. He also meticulously documented damage to my siding that was overlooked, successfully securing Allstate coverage for 90% of the repair costs.

Throughout the entire project, Tynan kept me consistently informed. The result? A beautiful new roof and a freshly painted house! His commitment didn't stop there – he showed up to inspect the completed work and even checked my yard and my neighbor's yard for any missed debris. My neighbor was so impressed, they asked for Tynan's contact information!

The exceptional service continued: Weeks after completion, a significant hailstorm hit. The very next morning, I found Tynan back on my roof, proactively inspecting for any new damage.

Josh, Formula Project Manager, & his assistant, Abe, installed a first class custom metal roof on our pergola. As a result, it is much cooler to relax on this north patio than it was without the roof. Josh also installed a drain pipe, rain chain and purchased a large urn for rain runoff. True Craftsmen! I worked in the roofing business for 5 years and I have never seen such craftsmanship, care and communication from a contractor. I asked Josh and the Formula team to repair a sophisticated commercial awning system and they did so flawlessly. You never wish for a roofing leak or repair but I rest comfortably knowing that, if I ever need a roofer again, I can call on Formula to quickly fix any issue. Most important, they were always in communication and did exactly as promised. THE BEST!!!!

I had a very good experience with Formula Roofing when my roof needed to be replaced due to hail damage. As work got underway, they worked closely with my insurance company to get things like code upgrades covered, as well as replacement of rotted roof panels. Joe also worked with me when a subcontractor damaged my front walk to compensate for the damage. Overall the estimation was very accurate and I paid out of pocket exactly the amount I expected. The quality of the work is excellent and I would recommend them highly.

They handled everything with our insurance company and made the process easy. They did a great job with the roof and even handled gutters and paint. They are very professional and courteous and I would recommend them.

Roofing repair isn’t exactly “fun.” And regardless of how good a company’s pricing may be it will still be expensive.

That said, Formula Roofing made this as painless and affordable as possible I feel. A friend had recommended this company and I am glad they did.

These guys are great! With all the recent massive rainstorms we've received lately, we were awoken in the middle of the night to some water dripping into our house. My wife and I knew we needed a professional to come take a look and assess the situation. I recently met Formula's Business Development guy (Russ), a great guy! I told him about our situation, and he let me know that a technician would call me to schedule a free inspection. Less than an hour later, their Project Manager (Tynan) gave me a call. We were able to schedule the inspection. During the inspection, Tynan was both professional and friendly. He checked our roof, provided us pictures, and found no significant issues. We will definitely call them back if any issues arise or if we need a roof replaced. Thanks Tynan!

I cannot say enough about the high quality service and attention to detail provided by Formula Roofing. My most recent project last month involved a punch list of relatively minor items that included damaged siding (a neighbor mistook our neighborhood for a golf driving range), miscellaneous gap sealing/repainting, replacement of a damaged garage side door, and repairs to damaged roof vents. I’ve worked with project manager Andy for several projects and he always comes through, getting the work done in a timely, caring manner at a very reasonable price.

I needed some concrete tiles replaced before selling my house and had a difficult time finding someone who knew what kind of tile I had and was willing to sell me a small number to repair the roof. After just a couple texts and phone calls, I texted photos and they knew exactly what I needed. These guys are fair and honest, and pricing was very reasonable. They were able to get out to the house in a timely fashion and helped me get the job done without trying to upsell me. I will certainly use them again and will recommended them to anyone needing roof repairs. Thank you, gentlemen.

Formula did a great job with my hail damage repair. Evan was the project manager and set up everything from the roof repair, to windows, gutters, attic venting and full house paint. We had zero issues with Formula or any company they contracted with. Everything ran smoothly and we are glad we went with this company.

I would highly recommend Formula Roofing. Miles and John were thorough from the start. We were in the process of buying a home and had John out to assess the roof. John actually climbed on the roof and removed several tiles to see the condition under what was visible and wrote a detailed report. We are grateful he did that because we discovered the roof was at the end of its life. We had been told it was in great shape and thanks to Formula we uncovered the reality. As a result we were able to get support to replace the roof which we of course did with Formula. Let me tell you, Formula is a well oiled machine. We placed our order and work was started right away. Miles communicated regularly and his team showed up when they said they would. They took care of our property along the way, safeguarding our driveway from the dumpster etc.. Being in the mountains we had some challenges but they were unfazed. I would highly recommend Formula to anyone looking for a roof replacement and would happily be a referral for their future potential business.

I'm quite happy with the job that Miles from Formula Roofing did for us: identifying and fixing a roof leak that had caused a water stain on my garage ceiling. In addition to repairing that leak, he inspected the rest of the roof and did some touch-up work to prevent potential future leaks. The thoroughness that Miles demonstrated was definitely what I most appreciated, but he was also very responsive -- he showed up the day after my initial call to Formula Roofing, so when the next storm rolled in (two days later) I was ecstatic that the work was done so quickly.

I hope not to need any additional repairs any time soon, but it's nice to know that I have a competent and reliable resource to call on if it is necessary.

Have used Formula for three specialty projects now. First two were great and exceeded expectations. Third was awful - I even called the office 3 times to complain and request a different project manager. Never did I hear from person in a leadership position or receive a replacement project manager. Our project was well over the estimated cost and took months to complete for roof, gutter replacement and solar panel reset. Great that Formula can do all these things and appreciate that Formula supports CPR too. But, man, we have a hard time recommending them now.

They did a good job and my roof and talked to me whenever I had questions. The inspection was clean and passed on the first visit by the inspector.

I bought some discontinued tile from Formula and had a snag in getting my project started. They held the tile while I sorted out the details of my project. From the minute I called to schedule Brent did a great job communicating with me regarding delivery and install of tile roof. Rene showed up a day early to inspect the conditions. They started when they said and completed that day. No issues with mid roof inspection.

From the initial evaluation to the actual work of replacing our roof, I only have compliments for Formula Roofing. Joon was an active and competent customer representative, answering all the questions and always going the extra mile to make us comfortable. The company replaced the roof previously damaged by a hail storm with high impact grade roofing that provides more protection and enhance the value of our house. They handled all discussions with our insurance company, met with the appraiser and facilitated the city's inspection after the work was done. First off, Sage and Andrew of Formula Roofing/Custom Tile Roofing kept us apprised of their arrival time. They quickly and expertly replaced the broken concrete tile. Would never use this company again. They are nothing but a headache. Usually working with a roofing company it runs smooth, you pay your deductible, they do the work, collect the insurance check and your done. We had our roof replaced our roof October 21, 2024 now here we are mid April of 2025 and they are still hounding me over a balance that doesn’t exist. It’s 800 dollars and none of their numbers add up. Don’t use this company unless you like a lot of drama and stress in your life. Even our insurance company said that it’s paid in full and case is closed

I had a few broken concrete roof tiles and needed to replace them. Even though the roof was over 35 years old, Formula had the type I needed and made the repairs. Roof Replacement- Had hail damage, after thorough inspection I needed a new roof. They worked with my insurance company seamlessly, and I got some new roof features added as well. The actual project was almost done in a day, gutters were a separate team of installers. Overall very happy and would happily recommend!

We are pleased with our choice of Formula Roofing for our roof replacement and related work. When our home was damaged by the severe hail storm last spring, I asked our solar company for recommendations. They had worked well with Formula Roofing on other homes with a solar detach required and had a high opinion of Formula. Our project manager Brady was on top of all of the details throughout the entire project. It took longer than I expected, but that was because of their interactions with my insurance company to get all of the work items and estimates aligned. When the work was all completed the house looks great and my cost was exactly what I was quoted. I hope I don’t need another roof replacement, but if I do, I would work with Formula Roofing again without any hesitation.

I have used formula to redo the roof on my primary home and some rentals. They are fast, very efficient and friendly. Miles is exceptional with working with my insurance company and overseeing the total project. Great communication and I have referred to many friends and family and they all say the same thing.

We had a really good experience! Tony and Nick were so helpful throughout the process. Other roofing companies were unresponsive but we chose Formula because we really felt like they cared about getting us the best solution for our roofing issues and at a fair price. Would highly recommend!

Never bothered to check the upper crawl space to see if new decking would be needed. Then told me price was increased for new decking once they started the job, then billed a larger amount than estimated and then based on my experience told they would just bill me cost, but said the cost was higher than the verbal. Just felt like they dropped the ball multiple times and misled me. Would not recommend them.
