I’ve worked with a few contractors in the past and it’s always a mixed bag. But Forest Knoll Construction replaced my roof with no hassle, no rescheduling, and no delays. They just showed up, did the work, and left things cleaner than they found them. They deserve nothing but praise!

I took a day off work just for them to come out and give me an estimate he called me 10 minutes from the appointment and said he had a flat tire that happened but then he called me hours later and told me he was going to two other appointments and for me to reschedule after I missed a day's work

I had them put a roof on my house not even 2 years ago now and all went well at first however 3 months ago on a day that there was no other damage done in the area a big section of the roof blew off which tells me that it was not installed correctly. I have been calling ever since then rarely getting ahold of anyone and when I do get ahold of someone I either get an excuse of why it’s not been fixed or why they don’t return my calls or I get I will have some of my guys get out there tomorrow to get it fixed but they never come. At one point they did show up to put a tarp up there because it leaks in the house everytime it rains but that tarp also blew off about a week later. I called them again and said the tarp blew off and it’s leaking in the house again and was told I’ll get someone out there right away to put it back on but they still haven’t come put it back so we’ve been dealing with leaks in the house every time it rains now for the past 3 months minus that week the tarp was on there. It took them less than a day to tear the entire old roof off and put the entire new roof on and this is just one section of that new roof that has blown off so it shouldn’t take move than a few hours to fix it but they won’t come do it.

At the time, our new roof installation seemed to go just fine. They were professional and punctual and the new roof looked good. However, two years later, we had significant roof leak near our chimney making me think the flashing was bad or not installed correctly. I wasn't too concerned because we have a 10-year warranty. However, I've been trying to contact them for the past month to schedule service and they simply refuse to return my messages. I've left many phone messages and have emailed many times, but no one ever contacts me back. Phone calls just go straight to voicemail. I was able to reach an actual person once. He said he'd forward my information to their service department, but I guess he was giving me the run-around because no one ever contacted me.

Maybe this place isn't in business anymore. Regardless, if you're in need of a roofing company, I'd recommend looking elsewhere! You want a company that will be able to stand by their work if issues come up in the future.

To the company (if you're still in business): I'll be happy to adjust this review if you just please contact me back and schedule service. I have to imagine this is a relatively minor issue to repair.

really loved their service when I first got it. I even referred them to my neighbors who then used them but their after care is horrible. I have a leak in my roof that i had installed in 2023 and have left multiple messages and no one has called me back. I have contacted the rep by text messages and still no call back "just they will call you" and still no call after a week. I wish I went with another company that holds their value of a business. * Update. I got a phone call the owner they yelled at me at told me "good luck getting us to come out now".... So.... I guess they can just cancel your contract on feelings? Go read their reviews other then google.. they are not good.

When a storm left our roof in very bad shape, we needed help. I had heard a lot about Forest Knoll Construction, and now I have learned why. They came to our house, assessed the damage and helped us choose the right asphalt shingles to install. The crew worked very hard, and in a few days, our home was secure once more. It was like a great burden had been taken off our chest.

Our insurance company dealt with Forest Knoll in settling the claims which were easy to process. They were very professional and knowledgeable in storm damage restoration throughout the project.

The window and door installation process were smooth. Other contractors that worked on our home reported to Forest Knoll to avoid confusion in the working progress. They were a professional team, very efficient in their work, and they treated our property with respect.

Our window shape was quite different and we needed to have the measurements taken in a special way. Forest Knoll was very helpful in collaborating with us to create and install the ideal window for our home. It is well made and the window gives our living area a unique feel.

They then took their time to make the correct measurements and cutting of the panels so that they could fit correctly. The end product is perfect and we are so pleased with the quality of the work done by your team.

The main issue we had was the level of mess associated with siding replacement. Forest Knoll ensured that our property was very clean. They put protective tarps over our landscaping and swept up any debris left from the previous day’s work. It was very encouraging to come home at the end of each day to find our yard so clean.

I spent ~$16k for Forest Knoll Construction to replace my roof in January of 2024 and the overall experience was disappointing.

I noticed in June that our flashing had not been replaced and appeared to be in worse shape than when we bought the home in Fall of ’23. The flashing was coming up from the brick and essentially creating a funnel for water to pour into. The flashing should have been replaced per our contract. I’m confident that it is worse than before because we have pictures from when we purchased the house and had a home inspection.

When I brought this issue to the attention of Phillip, the manager/owner, he repeatedly promised that they would fix it "next week." However, no one has come to our home in the 6+ months since my initial request. I have concerns that the chimney flashing on our 3rd floor roof is also faulty as there has since been cracking on the ceiling of the bedroom directly below that flashing.

Additionally, when they installed gutter lining, they overlapped the separate lining pieces against the flow of water, which almost guarantees water will get underneath and cause future issues. Finally, communication during installation was very limited, as most of the crew spoke little to no English, making it hard to discuss concerns in real time.

I am willing to amend this review if the company fulfill its 10 year workmanship warranty. At this point however it seems that they are unwilling to do so.

Slow, uncommunicative after contract signing, no accountability.

Before signing, I was quoted 2-3 weeks for the job to be done, took 5+ for initial work. No updates were provided unless I sought them, and the window moved further and further back. When the work was "done", I was charged in full, although none of the flashing was replaced, nor the roof on the addition.

Phillip deflected all blame: contractors "never" stick to the timeline they provide; "the girl in the office" is out caring for her mother; "you know how guys are" regarding the shoddy/incomplete work. He also got mad that I disputed the credit card charge for the amount due 'on completion of work' after I asked him twice and he did not respond.

Awful experience, absolutely avoid.

Forest Knoll redid my roof in 2022. Earlier this year, I noticed some shingles had blown off along the ridge cap. Because Forest Knoll advertises a 10-year labor warranty on newly-installed roofs, I reached out (called) and was assured someone would follow up to schedule a repair visit. No such follow up has occurred. I have reached out a few times subsequently over the past months to raise the issue. In each instance, I have been assured someone would follow up, but to date no such follow-up has occurred.

For this reason, I cannot recommend Forest Knoll.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This company came out and put a roof on my home not even 2 years ago. (I’m not the one who lived in my home the time of the roof install but have all the paperwork including the warranty) My area had a bad storm come through and a whole section blew off. I reached out multiple times to get them to come back out and fix the damage but no one will answer or call me back. I called gave them my information and was told someone would reach out within 2 weeks. I have since made multiple phone calls sent out multiple texts left voicemails but they refuse to come out and fix their poor quality of work.

We have extreme weather conditions, that is, very cold winters and very hot summers and so we required shingles that could handle this. This company suggested their shingle because they are tough and have the ability to withstand impacts.

We were annoyed with loud noises coming from the rain and hail on the old roof of our house. Forest Knoll fitted Shingle with improved sound insulation and it has made such a difference. It has become much quieter in our home and we are finally able to appreciate the silence.

Had a solid 5-star experience with Forest Knoll. We reached out to them for a roofing project and they exceeded expectations. From the initial appointment to completing the roofing, each step of the way was smooth and without complications. Plus, their charges were quite reasonable too. We have nothing but good things to say about them!

We could not be more grateful to them! The shingles on our roof are absolutely perfect! They’ve withstood some really harsh weather conditions and haven’t been damaged in the slightest! We’re glad that we trusted them. They deserve all the praise!

I was a low budget case when I required a new roof. Everyone on the team was helpful in searching for the most cost-effective solutions while still delivering quality. The pricing was well explained and there were no hidden charges. The end result was even better than we thought it would be.

Terrible experience almost throughout. Disagreement on the siding we had ordered - best case, they misremembered and worst case they lied. Salesman was very nasty. They subcontracted the whole job to guys that didn’t speak English. Ran out materials. Singed the tops of our shrubs with a tarp in the sun. If you make the mistake of using them, please get every detail in writing.
To top it off, their gutter company THREATENED A LIEN ON MY HOME since Forest Knoll hasn’t paid them for over a year, and not just on my job.

Forest Knoll Construction just replaced the roof on my house. I'm very pleased with the entire process and the outcome, and will gladly work with them on future roofing projects. Their entire team was easy to work with from scheduling the initial appointment, signing the contract, scheduling the job, and getting the new roof on fast. They were very accommodating to work me into the schedule on short notice, and there was great communication during the project. I was also impressed with how quickly and professionally they fixed a couple of minor problems...great customer service! Highly recommended for overall great value, quality and service.

We chose Forest Knoll over the other companies for their competitive pricing, no-hassle salesmanship and professionalism. The team there did a great job setting up the appointment and were available for questions at every step of the way. The installers did an excellent job, and when there were issues or concerns, Forest Knoll even came out to remedy them and keep us informed of the progress. We did feel that we had to babysit the installation crew sometimes, but that seems to be the nature of construction these days. Overall, it is like a whole new house and we couldn't be happier!

From our initial meeting with Eric, to the friendly and helpful office staff, to the great crew who worked quickly and efficiently to install our roof and do a diligent cleanup, to the quality assurance review by the PM, Greg, the whole process was easy, stress-free. We are very happy. I will recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

Had a new roof put on and it looks good. The reason for the four star instead of a five star review is because the project manager did not know that we had also paid to have a cricket installed and have a new attic fan installed. Fortunately I was keeping an eye on the workers and told them that we wanted those two things installed. The project manager said he was not aware that they were supposed to do that but they ended up installing the cricket and fan. Will recommend to other neighbors.

I worked with Rickie and Greg from Forest Knoll and they were both very professional, and were able to answer all of my questions! They were even able to completely replace my roof in one day! I couldn't believe it! I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high quality roof and a great company to work with!

Reasonable and fair estimate for installing new roof and gutter realignment. Final cost matched the original estimate. Experienced crew completed work in a short period of time. Unfortunately, the company did not complete all services in which we were quoted and have already paid for. They provided services 16 months ago and we have reached out numerous times without success to resolve this issue.

A new attic vent was to be installed along with installation of the roof, as per our service contract (written proof). During the day of the installation, the foreman said this information was not conveyed to him. After reviewing the contract with the foreman, he did take measurements. Since then, we haven't heard from the company further despite several calls with regards to the vent.

Additionally, yearly inspections of the roof were apart of their offer. We never heard from them at 12 months out. We have called several times and still no one has come out to do a "yearly inspection." We have several areas of the roof that are lifting and were hopeful the inspector would see and fix these issues. Unfortunately, this review is our last ditch effort to obtain answers/results.

We would highly recommend Forest Knoll for roofing job. From the owner and project manager Gregory and Alex and his crew are absolutely great. Gregory and Alex had all the answers to our questions. Excellent work and great price. Thanks to all.

I stressed over my roof replacement job and after the job was complete...I wondered why? FK Const. did a wonderful job tearing off the old shingles, replacing with new and cleanup. From the owner down to ALL the employees I met, I can say this is a first class group. Easy to work with, ease in scheduling my job... and more importantly priced appropriately. My job required 40 squares of shingles and the job was completed in 1 day....they brought a huge crew of 8 who worked as a team in getting everything done & cleanup. I would highly recommend them for any new or replacement roofing job.

From start to finish and cleanup in one day. Our house was small enough for them to have time to roof our shed for free. It was their idea not ours ! Work was high quality and we gladly tipped the laborers. A week later a very generous gift certificate to our favorite restaurant arrived in the mail. Would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing. A+++++

We got off to a very rough start because the crew assigned to my house to replace the roof, gutters, downspouts, soffits, and facia honestly did not know what they were doing. The work was bad, they took absolutely forever and it was horrible what was to show for it. However, I am giving this company 5 stars, and YES I absolutely would recommend them because they took care of it. Not every company will stand behind their work, and it says a lot when they do. The crew who first worked on my house is no longer employed at Forrest Knoll, so you should never go through what I did. The second time the work was done (when it was made it right) the crews were amazing. They were fast, professional, and their work was thorough.

Get to know Greg. He is the project manager for company. He gave me his card in the beginning and said to call if I needed him. This guy will take care of the customer. He is true to his word, and will go out of his way to make the customer happy. Greg deserves 15 stars.
I am giving a shout out to Alex, also. His crew worked on my roof the second time. Alex and his team are absolutely great. They are professional, fast, and awesome at what they do. You are in good hands if you go with these guys.

These guys were awesome every step of the way. From the quote to completion just amazing. They explained everything, used high quality materials, charged a ridiculously low sum and somehow managed to finish my roof in one day. When they were done and gone, you couldn’t even tell they’d been there aside from the nice new roof. Not a single discarded nail was found. I’d give them 6 stars had that been an option. If you’re looking for a roofer, you can stop. Just call these guys.
