Great Experience with Foglia Builders (Sep 2024). Replaced a 30-year-old roof. All communications, scheduling and processes were outstanding. Joe, Stacey and Ed answered all questions in a straightforward and honest manner. They may not have been the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either. I had a few of the big box roofers come in and never got a good feeling from them. Most came in way too high and wanted to play games. Add Foglia Builders to your short list and give them a call.

We had some siding coming off the house. Joe and his crew came out and repaired it the same day we called, quickly & professionally.

I've worked with Joe and Nick at Foglia Builders twice in the past 5 years. They put on a new roof a few years ago and replaced a skylight for me most recently. Joe and Nick gave me bids quickly and went over and above to schedule the work when I needed it done. Their crew's work quality is great, their prices are very competitive, and I appreciate the extra details the do like using a magnet to pick up any loose nails in the driveway and yard and folding up and storing the tarp that covered my leaking skylight. I would highly recommend Foglia Builders if you want your roof or remodeling project done right.

The owner "Joe" in my words one of the GOOD GUYZ ! When I needed a new roof he came to the house explained everything I needed to know about how his crew works and the products he uses . The crew were very skilled and cleaned up everything ! I didn't find a piece of tar paper in the yard! I will recommend and refer this company to everyone . After 3 yrs we had a terrible windstorm. I had a few shingles blow off. Called "Joe" and he had the crew come back promptly . They came in the snow just to make sure there was no more damage and replaced the missing ridge caps.

From the very first meeting until the day my roof was finished was one of the easiest processes ever. Joe and his crew were finished with my roof in less than 5 hours and I could not be happier. His estimate was right on point and there were no hidden fees or charges, Joe and his crew were amazing to work with I would recommend them to anyone. Work was done quick. Spoke to the Representative Nick about keeping existing gutters and just reattaching/anchoring them with the bolt in fasteners. Did not review contract close enough, It just stated to reattach gutters. Should have been clued in that it didn't say how they were to be reattached. A couple of months later my gutter that is 3 floors up is coming off of my house. I quickly went to email Stacey and Joe to just check to see what they had to say. My assumption was that the gutters were attached with new anchors. They were not! In my nicely worded email I just asked what their thoughts were. Wasn't asking for anything else. Joe quickly called me and took defense as if I was demanding something. I just wanted to explain that I was misled to believe that the gutter should have been attached with better anchors. So here is my warning to be cautious because they are not even courteous enoughto tell you why they can't do something. So my reattached gutter were simply just hammered back in and not attached as expected. My fault for not getting it in writing. But Joe didn't need to attack me on the phone when he called me and didn't let me get a word in edge wise. Best of Luck

Had an excellent experience with my roof replacement. Sales (Ed) was excellent and was able to get me scheduled and replaced before the bad weather. Roofing team was quick, efficient, and had my roof done faster than expected. They showed me all of the problem areas on my roof, and then offered acceptable repair options.

I live out of town but own a house my mother lives in. The roof was 20+ years old and had a leak. I called on a weekend for service and they responded quickly, provided a detailed quote promptly with several options. Once the contract was signed, they performed the work within a week. All this was done by phone calls and e-mails. They were very easy to work with and trustworthy.

Professional throughout the project. Every step was communicated well. Completed in a timely manner and everyone was fabulous to work with. I no longer have to be embarrassed about my old roof.

Foglia Builders did a SUPER JOB on replacing our house and separate garage roofs. From going over the details and cost for the project with Ed we were interested but waited for a few estimates before deciding. The day of the installation Joe, owner of Foglia Builders came to the house first to tell us what would be going on.
Each guy it seemed had a specific job he was in charge of. We had all six workers tearing off old shingles. Two workers did the garage roof. Other four did the house roof. By the time we got back from lunch (we weren't gone but an hour and a half) there wasn't a roofer in sight! The clean-up was spot on! We are very pleased with our new roofs. Foglia Builders gets an A+ for going above our expectations! Thank you.

Excellent service from start till finish, My salesman was at my house in a day or two with samples, certificates, proof of insurance, pricing and explained everything to me that I needed to know. The Owner Joe and his wife always took my calls asap and followed up with me to answer any questions I had. I had a small leak prior to installation of my new roof and Joe came out and put a tarp on my roof until they could get me scheduled for installation. Very professional in every aspect and I would highly recommend them.

I prefer to always use small local businesses. Joe and his crew were here bright and early Monday morning smiling and ready to work. My roof is very steep. The workers were fast and so efficient. Everyone was so friendly. They stayed until everything was finished.

We spoke with 3 roofers and went with Foglia Builders. The cost was reasonable and the work was excellent. They kept us informed about scheduling and they kept to the schedule. They made a repair around a vent pipe, replacing sheet metal with wood, and installed new shingles on our entire house roof and shed with no cost overrun. The workers were very efficient and the clean up was perfect!

Update: one of their employees did make it out to the property and determined that the hole is negligible due to the unique anatomy of the house and the addition, even though a shingle was used to cover said hole. No further rot/leaks should occur from this area.
-rotted wood was trimmed back with new drip edge installed to both sides of the sunroom, appreciated.
-will have to agree to disagree regarding drip edge. They maintain that our contract states that if gutters were to remain then existing drip edge was to remain. The contract also states that drip edge would be installed at "all eaves and raked roof ends." We would have appreciated had they notified us that our house did not have traditional drip edge material, but makeshift material that could cause problems down the road. I am not a professional roofer, but this has resulted in issues with my gutter installers installing gutters. I have had multiple contractors out shocked that these contractors had left the roof in this fashion while also failing to communicate this to us.

-in conclusion: this company has overall great reviews. Our experience was contrary to the ordinary experience by others. This remains disappointing. Additionally, the poor, unprofessional, and prideful behavior demonstrated by the owner will keep me from suggesting this business to anyone needing a roof or other exterior contracting.

Foglia did a wonderful job replacing our old shingles, gutters and downspouts. They also took care of a previous contractor's neglect on the section of roof they installed. Ed, the salesman was nice and informative and didn't pressure us at all to sign with them. They are the ONLY company that actually came out to take a look. Nice work and cleanup.

Excellent company, prompt , fast responses. signed contract on Friday, the next Thursday the job was done. even offered to come tarp in the middle of the night if their was a leak with the old roof while we waited for a dry day to put the new one on. best contractor experience I've ever had.

Foglia Builders did a phenomenal job of our Roof replacement in July, 2022. Their crew came at the crack of dawn on a hot July day this year. They worked attentively and continuously until they finished the same day - around 3pm. Their crew chief on the ground answered the questions I had and was courteous and polite. During the day both Foglia's owner and sales representative visited the site and inquired with me that every thing was going well.

The crew cleaned up completely afterwards. The dumpster - which was delivered the day prior to the replacement - was removed promptly the following morning.

I would recommend Foglia's to anyone needing a roof replacement.

We hired Foglia Builders to replace our old roof, attic vents, and attic fan. They were able to offer a price that beat all the other estimates we received. We had some delays due to weather but despite that the work was done quickly and professionally. Joe did an excellent job keeping us updated regarding the delays and he came to inspect the work himself. Overall, it's a great company with great service.

Loved our experience with Foglia Builders!

When we started looking at companies to come out and replace our roof, we were SHOCKED at the price the first company quoted us. We kept looking around and we’re pleasantly surprised when Foglia gave us a bid that was HALF as expensive as the first company. Plus, they outlined every possible additional cost depending on what they found once they started ripping the roof off. Unfortunately we had to replace the wood under the roof but we had already been told what that cost would be if we needed it. And the actual cost of the wood came under budget with what we were originally told. So we were prepared for that.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would gladly recommend them to anyone. These people are very down to earth and aren’t looking to be salesman in their field. They performed the work extremely quickly (only took 1.5 days to do our roof and shed), and the result was beautiful.

The only negative thing I would recommend to anyone getting a roof from any company (not just Foglia) is to get a stick magnet to sweep your yard and landscaping when you’re done! Several other friends and family members recommended this to us and I’m glad I did because I have a dog and a toddler at home. Sure enough, I found a jar full of nails when I was done. Foglia swept our yard with their own magnet and I’m sure got the majority of the nails the first time around. But you’ll find this with any roofer—it’s just part of the business! And I would still recommend Foglia to anyone!

They were one of the lowest bids, they came to do My roofing and they worked like a well oiled machine. The clean up was excellent, I didn't find any nails and only about 2 piece's of roofing paper that were less than a square inch

First and foremost, I can't thank Joe enough for coming out on an emergency installation to replace my leaking roof. His actions proved that Foglia Builders Inc pride's itself with taking care of concerned customers and will always place the customer first!

His staff is as professional as they come. Nick, the sales representative, was upfront and never sugarcoated anything with the contract. He was always in contact with me and I was never left in the dark. As for the labor part of the contract, Mike, Tom, Ron, and couple others, showed up early and simply went about. They were hardworking and respected my property, as if it were their own.

I had a complete shingle/roof replacement this fall and the work done by Foglia Builder's Inc and their crew was fantastic. They were the most responsive and friendly company out of all the businesses my wife and I called when looking for a contractor to do the work. They were very fair priced and the quality of their work was great. They were on time, and were out by the afternoon. They were also able to set us up with a new power fan that we needed to replace the old damaged one. We found FBI on the internet and contacted them based on reviews. We were not disappointed from Ed, the salesman, to the hardworking roofers, to the owner who visited on site to ensure quality. We didn't have a long wait to get started and the crew cleaned up as promised. Because they work 12 hour days, the job was completed in a day and a half. A roof is a big investment, but their prices are reasonable and they do a great job. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a great experience with Foglia Builders Inc. We were purchasing our first home and Foglia was the first to respond to our requests to come out during our home inspection few days later to check out the 33-year old roof. Ed came out and provided a quote the same day, and that quote price held true by the end when we made our final payment. The price was very reasonable, for our roof replacement. They also cleaned out the gutters during the replacement, and thoroughly cleaned up after each of the 4 days. We were very impressed with the forewoman, Marcia, who led the crew and was present onsite each day. Joe, the owner, was also great as he came by occasionally to check out the progress on the work and personally introduced himself during the first day. We would highly recommend Foglia to others.

I submitted a form online for an estimate. They called and I started explaining the first of 3 things I needed which was a repair job. She interrupted me to ask if it was a repair or replacement. I said repair and she abruptly ended the conversation by saying they're only doing full replacements because it's financially better for them.

Well I had no interest in contributing the conversation either at that point. I've saved them so I never use them in the future.

I was referred to Foglia from my father who had a great experience with them about a year ago. I recently had them come out and install a new roof, gutters, leaf guards and downspouts for my house. "Guy" came out and gave us the quote, got out his handy little drone and checked the roof out, and even went up into the attic to check underneath. He seemed very knowledgeable about roofs and building/construction in general. Based off the referral from my dad and the experience with Guy, and the price seemed very reasonable we did not even get a second opinion. (I got 7 estimates for my windows) We were given about a 4 week timeframe and it was started in 3 (we had some lucky weather). The install crew was awesome, and they did a fantastic job. Gutters came a couple days later and they look great. Now I just need some rain to see how well everything works!

Joe (the owner) came the day after the was done to make sure the job was done well (and get the balance due). As a fellow small business owner in the construction trade, I will be referring Foglia to anyone I know that has roofing needs!
