Poor communication. Would not recommend.

Working with FCC on our $120,000 pool/spa project was a constant source of frustration due to horrible communication. Getting updates was like pulling teeth—emails went unanswered, calls weren’t returned, and texts were ignored for days or completely. While the final product turned out nice (the subs did good work for the most part), the overall experience working with FCC was disorganized and unprofessional.

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Very responsive and professional and got everything completed on schedule. They left everything so clean after each day and the craftsmanship was top notch. I highly recommend this company.

We are so happy we worked with Florida Coastal Construction they were fantastic. They did exactly what they said they would and in budget. They were on top of the schedule coming in ahead of the time we expected. We would highly recommend them. All of their contractors they worked with were also fantastic. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We just used Florida Coastal Contractors for the third time and they did not disappoint. Very professional, excellent communication, and always on time. When the job was completed we had one capped off sprinkler leaking and that same afternoon they had someone come out to make the repair. Excellent customer service!!! Job well done!

Florida Coastal Contractors and Island Breeze Luxury Pools are awesome. They built us a custom pool in the time frame they promised and on budget. Shane and his team are fantastic to work with. Our neighbors are now installing their pool after seeing how well ours went. We would highly recommend them!!!!

Florida Coastal Contractors (FCC)did an excellent job adding a paver patio and walk with a fire pit along with paver edging for our flower beds.
We had bids from 3 paver contractors. FCC provided the best proposal considering both price and quality.

This is our second job with FCC. We had a pool built in our back yard. The job was done ahead of schedule. The communication with the company was great. Very pleased with the final product. Our pool is beautiful. Highly recommend Florida Coastal Contractors.

This is essentially a tale of two projects.
The first part was immensely frustrating at times because, once I had signed the contract and paid the first installment for a pergola, this company did a pretty poor job communicating the timing of the project and just about everything else.
However, once the project got started, I cannot say enough good things about about the quality of the work. There were some delays between stages but that seems par for the course in my experience with contractors. But when the work was performed it was top-notch. The workers were attentive, precise and friendly. Really liked the guys who did the work. If this company's front office did a better job of making the customer feel like someone was paying attention I would have given them five stars.

FCC just installed a beautiful pool in my backyard. Everyone attached to the project from manager to laborer to supervisor was wonderful. They took great care of my yard and property. Mess was held to a minimum and appreciated. Would recommend and use them again!

Let me start by saying that building with Florida Coastal definitely means that you are not going to get a cookie cutter build or low quality materials, etc. The craftsmanship that goes into their builds is an absolute 10/10. Jordan who does their woodwork is a master and it is truly gorgeous. I'm really happy we went woth something that has character and warmth. All of their contractors were really fantastic, respectful of your home and property and were clean, which doesn't happen All the time, so that was really comforting to see. They were all individually really good at communicating with us on when they would be back, etc.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the end result. It's gorgeous, built to last and high quality. We did make a change in adding work in after the final and they worked with us well. Just bring your patience, the custom work takes time and sometimes the scheduling can be a pain, but that's with any project.

I am so pleased I chose this company for my project. I procured several bids. While they weren’t the lowest bid, of all the companies I spoke with, FCC took the time to listen and address all my questions and concerns to lay out a well thought out project and timeline. As with any construction, sometimes the unexpected pops up. Everyone, from Brian (who gave me a spot on estimate) to the office project managers (Teresa and Jessica) to the on sight foremen, handled every challenge with courtesy and kept me informed. If a solution wasn’t immediately apparent they followed up, adjusted and let me know how it would affect the schedule. I felt that they really cared to deliver the best possible result and the best possible customer service. Construction is never fun but it was a true pleasure to have you all in my home. Thanks for a beautiful drive way and patio that I am proud of and enjoy every day! A five star high five! Well done!

FCC designed and built a magnificent backyard patio upgrade with a covered outdoor kitchen, fire pit and multiple pergolas. The whole team was a pleasure to deal with (especially Brian). The craftsmanship was A+.

We had a pool done with this company and they were great. It was a very easy and quick process. The final project was amazing. We love our pool and would use them again.

Pricing was ok, but communication and follow was terrible. No one would come to look at finished project , with issues, only would give answer on phone. If used again, I would be more assertive or just not use them and paid a little more with going with somebody else.

They did a basic paver backyard for us, and we were so pleased, we called them to do more within 4 weeks of the original project! Communication from Teresa, to very accurate estimates by Brian, and the team that came out to do the project, we are very happy with it all. Highly recommend

We had a full back porch renovation and outdoor kitchen and grill installed by Florida Coastal Contractors. They removed an existing deck and screened enclosure and replaced it with a poured concrete lanai, extended roof and a gorgeous brick bar and grill. Shane worked with Nick at Urban Asado to install a custom Argentinian grill of our dreams! FCC enclosed the porch with screens, added two doors and integrated the whole thing with our existing pool enclosure. We are beyond thrilled with the end result!

Put in retaining wall took down some trees, placed top soil and sod! Did an excellent job!
He used them a second time to extend the patio that they had previously placed once again everybody showed up when they were supposed to there were no surprises. Very friendly people very professional people I would recommend them without hesitation .

Professional and great quality of work. I needed some exterior doors replaced with the frame being rebuilt and they did a fantastic job.

I enjoyed working with Florida Coastal Contractors very much. Brian was very professional during his estimate and even provided an estimate on the spot. Teresa and Jessica in the office were also very helpful and professional. The patio was completely within 2 weeks from the estimate. We even added sitting walls and they installed the next day. FCC is a large company that does a lot, and i will look at them for all my future projects.

Shane from FCC is a visionary and did a great job designing our outdoor space. We have a beautiful Lanai, fire pit and patio, and a walkway that goes through my side yard to the Lanai. Highly recommended !

FCC was very professional and easy to work with. Their design and estimation process was the most comprehensive out of the vendors we interviewed. We had a delay with labor but the team stayed in communication. We are very pleased with the end product.

These people are the Gold Standard of their Industry! This is the 2nd time we have used them! Just completed MAJOR backyard renovations! 85’ long 6’ tall bulkhead, over 600 sq foot paver patio to include screened enclosure! The customer service and quality workmanship we have received from Shane, Jessica, Teresa and subs has been above and beyond! I’m known to be tough critic and rarely impressed with service provided by most companies today, but these folks have truly earned it. They can literally do anything you need done, they do it right, and their commitment to happy customers is so hard to find out there anymore! Don’t hesitate to use this company for any service they provide! You will be glad you did!!

Communication throughout process was horrible claims to be Christian company but not what I received from them they don’t ever get back until you have called several times regarding same issue that is still not corrected the screened room they did wasn’t what we wanted but had to accept it because it had been done according to details they received which were not what asked for but I take responsibility in that for not ready every detail and taking a lingo course in their company jargon but mostly service was horrible including they order supplies and you are charged for siyppliea even if they don’t use everything which I’m told they only charge you for what is used which is dishonest right there I have been waiting till January for fan boxes and still not put up they put in a small electric box and expect my fan to fit in it ok then!!! Don’t know what their doing also the gutter leaks told them that as well have they fixed it No I have gave them more chances to make it right big mistake on my part but I’d think twice before getting work done with them

Love my outdoor kitchen! Finally reached the finish line following many covid related manufacturing set backs. Subs went above and beyond making the kitchen what we wanted. Thank you to everyone!

Florida Coastal Contractors built an amazing gas fire pit adjacent to my pool deck. They were the only vendor out of 4 that I contacted that would complete every aspect of the job. Shane was creative in recommending that they build steps down into the fire pit deck that looks amazing. I would highly recommend and I will use them again for future projects Shane, Jessica and their team were responsive and professional in every aspect of the project.

FLA Coastal Contractors did an amazing job replacing our 30 yr old deck with a beautiful paver patio. When Shane came out to give us an estimate, he was very helpful with suggestions of what to do. Paver crew worked hard to get our project done in a timely matter and was very attentive with clean up. Jessica & Teresa in the office were very efficient handling changes we made along the way. End result exceeded our expectations! Have already recommended them to several church members and our pest control technician. Great job guys!

FCC designed and built (including coordinating permit) an approximate 32x 14 paver patio with birdcage (screen room over half the space). They did an excellent job in a timely manner... at a cost about 15 percent lower than similar qualified contractors. I would use their services again.

Great company to work with!! We recently had our pavers extended in our backyard and added a firepit and it looks amazing. They are very quick to respond and easy to speak to about any concerns. Elijah Hosttler came by about a month ago, we went over with him what we were looking for, he drew up a plan and within a few days everything started to come together. I also had the opportunity to speak with both Jess and Theresa in the office and both ladies are just wonderful to work with. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

This is our second time using Florida Coastal Contractors for paver installation. They are prompt, efficient, courteous and do a job that is far superior than any other installer that we've come across. We will continue to use them for all our paver needs.

They started our job on October 4 (we had estimate in September and knew that there would be a slight delay.) After the pavers were in we were told that Jessica would call in a couple of days to schedule the screening. Nothing - a month later I called them - assured us they would call us later that day to arrange the screening - Nothing. I called them again, Nothing - My husband called them again, - Nothing
We fear that they won't be back to finish the job. We should not have to call them over and over to get any kind of response. We need a phone call to know what is up = Can't seem to get one. This is Horrible customer service.

Follow up

Shane (owner) did contact us and apologize for dropping the ball - he got us scheduled to complete the work immediately and checked up on his crew daily - there were also daily phone calls to keep us posted and he stopped by to check up to make sure the team was getting the job done. The work is quality - it looks great and just what we wanted. Yes, there was a glitch but the team at FCC does show that they work very hard to make the customer happy and get the job done to the customer's satisfaction. Life happens but now we can enjoy it on our FCC built lanai.

We had FCC do various outdoor projects for us and could not have been more pleased. They handled drainage issues, removing existing sidewalks/areas, installing pavers in front and back of house and some
other things. From beginning to the walk through everything went smoothly and outcome is absolutely beautiful. Their workers are artisans and go non-stop from start to finish. Paver projects turned out incredible. If needed will use them in the future. Definitely highly recommend this company! Thank you FCC!

From our first meeting with Elijah in sales to our final walk through, everything went seamlessly. We had received bids from other contractors but were very impressed with the professionalism of Florida Coastal Contractors. The crew was always on time and worked so hard to create a beautiful extended paver patio for us. I now, for sure, have the most beautiful and properly installed concrete paver patio design in my community, if not in St Augustine (lol, okay maybe not the entire St Augustine). I had a 200 SF paver patio put in with Tremron pavers. I was worried because they were running a little late, and the crew arrived about 1:00 PM with a 3-man crew. They all just went to work. Everybody knew their job. They worked fast and got it done in about 5 hours. Just to be sure that the job would finish on time, a second crew showed up for the last hour and wrapped it up in time for a holiday weekend. And to top it off, I had asked that if they had an opening before the holiday I would appreciate being moved up. They did.

This company is excellent in all respects. Shane shared our vision for the patio and took it a couple of steps further to ensure it was visually stunning. And, Jessica followed through on all items that were left to complete to our satisfaction and on time. I recommend them highly.

From the design team and office staff down to the workers who did the heavy lifting, they were a pleasure to work with. Great work in redoing another contractors mistakes.

After obtaining six quotes, Florida Coastal Contractors was my choice and was the correct decision. The process starts with Shane, who has a colorful personality, and makes you feel comfortable with something you have no clue about as a consumer. After listening to what you are interested in, he takes a can of orange paint and creates a visual for you to have perspective what this may look like as it is outlined on the ground. Next up is Wellington, who is the foreperson of the hardscape crew. It is amazing hard hard these guys work as they completed in 36 hours what would probably take most a week. Finally, the electrician connected all of the lights and put in the transformer.

The pergola was constructed in three phases. First, the hardscape was constructed in a day with the two end support beams; then Chris stains the existing beams and returns later with the remainder of the pergola constructed off site and completes it in 4 hours; finally, the electrician, Jason, connects the electricity to the pergola with a GIF for lights and installed a fan in 4 hours.

This is an amazing organization which is consumer friendly, provides a competitive price and a product you will be proud of as a homeowner.

Originally I wanted to get quotes from at least three to four contractors. Florida Coastal was the second one and after meeting with Shane I knew that I didn't need to look further. Not only did he quote me at 10K less than the first company, but Shane took the time to draw out and explain the cost of everything. The other company just told me a price with no drawing and never replied to my followup email. Florida Coastal showed up the day after we made our deposit and had the whole job done in less than a week, and it was a pretty large job including the driveway with a wraparound parking spot, culvert replacement, back patio free-formed around trees, and a fire pit. They concreted underneath all edges and gave a five year warranty. They also put up with or questions and changes during the process in a friendly manner. Everything came out much better than expected and Shane even gave my son a birthday present! The crew did an incredible job cleaning up when they left, including packing down the spots in the grass where they had parked. I would absolutely recommend Florida Coastal Contractors without hesitation.

Everyone from Florida Coastal Contractors was a pleasure to work with. Shane came out personally and gave us a quote and within a short time his team of expert artisans were our here absolutely owning this project. Our side yard was extremely poorly graded from when the home was initially constructed - and on top of that we had some drainage for them to work around as well as very large root system from our neighbors yard. Watching these guys work was a real privilege. Their ability to adapt and over come any task with creative professionalism is why they have five star reviews. If google ever decides to up the amount of stars to 6 - Florida Coastal Contractors will be right there leading the charge and setting the bar as high as humanly possible - making it difficult for other companies to compare. We shopped around the greater North-Eastern Florida area before going with FCC and I am confident when I say you will be hard pressed to find another company that provides the level of professionalism and attentiveness they provide. Thank you FCC for turning our questionable side yard wasteland into a patio area fit for the gods!

This company did an awesome job on our patio from start to finish! Shane,the sales consultant, was very knowledgeable, engaging, and honest. Jessica, the office manager, was also very responsive via cell phone, text, and emails. This company doesn't fool around! The work team were here the very next day and finished our larger paver patio with lights in 4 to 5 hours. Jason was also involved and very professional. The work team is made up of young men who worked quickly and tirelessly. The guy with the electric saw was quite impressive! You won't be disappointed with this company!

Good experience, Some before and after pics. Shane runs the show and Jessica his assistant will try to help with any questions you might have. A couple of hiccups with time schedule due to the Covid-19 but overall good experience.

Florida Coastal Contractors recently completed a sizable project for us. They installed a large paver lanai, a screen enclosure over the birdcage, they completed a large paver walkway (90ft X 3ft), modified the front walkway, a fire pit & built a trellis/pergola for a swing.
They completed this project in a professional & timely manner. The employees were skilled, polite & worked tirelessly.
The salesperson/manager Shane made certain that all of our questions were answered & that the project stayed within the deadline. They did what they said they would. They worked quickly & didn’t waste time. We would definitely hire them again & definitely recommend their services.

We had Florida Coastal Coastal Contractors put in a all PAVER patio for us. Initially had problems with the delivery of the Pavers. The trucking company was suppose to be deliver the Pavers on a Monday but they were not delivered until Wednesday. However, once all of the Pavers were delivered, Florida Coastal Contractors did an OUTSTANDING job on installing the Pavers, and the job was done quickly and professionally. A couple days later I had some questions about the Pavers and Florida Coastal Contractors were back on the job site to take care of any issues I had and answered all of my questions. Job well done!

Florida Coastal did an amazing job for us. Our patio and lanai came out fabulous. Shane helped us design the patio we envisioned and was great to work with.
