EDIT: It has been 6 months since initial installation, and the issues I mentioned below about the damaged windows being replaced have not been dealt with. I have had to repeatedly reach out to them about getting these replaced, with no indication of when it will happen. Pretty unhappy with how this has all turned out. The windows that were undamaged have been installed and are great, but other than that, it hasn't been worth it. Go somewhere else.

Still ongoing, so I will update as things unfold. So far, I’m happy with the quality of window we got for the price, as well as the time it took to install. Once work was started, it took just about 3 days, and most of the windows look awesome. Big improvement. There were some windows that were damaged (appears to be manufacturers issue, so we are trying to get replacements where needed, will update when I get more info).

The thing keeping them from 5 stars is communication. After our initial visit/down payment, I didn’t get any status updates for a while, and I had to reach out to get a status update, and then they stayed in contact with me. Then when work started, they asked if they could park the trailer in my driveway (single lane driveway) and I said yes, thinking it would be removed at the end of the workday, but ended up having to make some calls to be able to get our car in and out of our garage, and it finally got removed later that same day. During window install, workers said they would be back later that day to work, didn’t come back until the next day, and we didn’t know when they were coming. These issues were minor inconveniences, but could have been worse if we were in a time crunch. That being said, I’m happy with how they handled themselves when I reached out, they do seem interested in providing good quality service, and more proactive communication with customers would go a long way to bumping this to 5 stars.

Bathroom remodeling work was excellent and also carpet installation i would definitely recommend this company to any and all my family and friends thx again 5 star great work!!

Two reps from this company came to our house for a consultation today and one of them did not wear a mask in our home. It was so rude and unprofessional. They didn’t understand what we needed and trash talked the person who set the appointment up over the phone, insinuating they buy their leads from call centers who don’t know anything... I am so upset about the whole thing.

100% do NOT recommend. This company does not honor their contract or their warranty on the work they perform. We have been waiting 3 months (as of this date) to get work re-done under their warranty, and have gotten nothing but empty promises of "when a crew is available, we'll get someone out there." Checking in with their supplier, the replacement window has not even been ordered. Further, taking a look through their Facebook page, they have crews working at many other places, so it would appear they have the people, but not the interest in holding up their end of the bargain.

Very professional and worked diligently to help my family With a 25 window replacement the windows work great also have really helped us save on energy I would recommend five star exteriors in Minnesota to anybody thx again it truly was a five star experience

They accepted payment from my insurance company and started the work that needs to be done but it has now been over a year and they are holding up us selling our house. We have had to put in hours trying to track them down, setting up appointments that get cancelled last minute, and just generally dealing with unprofessional behavior from them.

At this point we will be filing complaints as they have payment but are not completing the work.

Five star exteriors is the best company I have ever worked with. They walked me thru my project every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Five Star Exteriors they have great pricing, awesome communication and all around excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend Five Star Exteriors!

Heriberto and crew were very conscientious. I am pleased with the siding installation that was done and the response to the follow-up care that I requested.

5Star did an excellent job installing my windows. Several of the windows I had replaced were 100 years old. It is amazing to have beautiful new windows that I can actually make use of now!

ast fall I had 5 Starr replace 2 Paio Doors and 9 windows. Deonte was very professional at sales call. He explained my options and did an excellent job. The installation was well done and on time. I recommend them highly.

This company is and has been awful to work with. We had 3 windows to replace and over a year later we still don't have the work done. Not all of the problems have been 5 Star's doing, but much of it has, and their communication has been horrible. Part owner Todd is rude, condescending and has been untruthful about what has been happening. He is quick to blame others (including us) and takes no responsibility for anything. When their unfinished install (over 4 months of an incorrectly sized window held in place with insulating foam) let water between the exterior and interior walls of our home, ruining the particle board behind the siding and house wrap, they refused to fix it "because it is dry now and nobody can see it" (never mind that there was an actual 4x6"ish hole and degraded surrounding particle board). Despite us having photos showing water coming into the house between the window and the framing on multiple occasions (which were given to Todd), and an installer being on site during one such incident, Todd claimed we had years of water intrusion and they had nothing to do with the damage. That is patently untrue and Todd has no basis to claim it anyway since he never set foot in our house or saw the resultant damage first hand. Part owner Deonte tries to provide good customer service but his decisions were overruled by the other owners. We had to pay for the work because the "install" was done even though one of the windows never closed properly - they treat that as a "warranty" problem. Months after Todd said he has ordered a new window to replace the faulty one, with not updates or installation on the horizon, I just verified with the distributor and the manufacturer that no order was ever placed. Quite honestly I have doubts that these guys will ever live up to their contract. If you do go with them, be sure to have a hold-back clause for part of the job price to ensure it is completed fully with no issues from the manufacturer or installer and consider having an end date, lest you end up 17 months later with a window that doesn't close and seal properly.

I contracted 5 Star Exteriors to install 17 windows in my home. They were very prompt about coming out and took like 4 days and they were all installed. Dan and Jake did a good job they worked very hard. I love my new windows Deonte suggested a couple changes and a wood grain color and I just love my new windows. I would highly recommend their company and I will go with them again. Thank you guys good work!!

Five Star Exteriors came in after my uncle was denied a hail damage claim to the siding of his home that obviously should have been covered by insurance. From jump he was skeptical About his ability to afford a project like this on his own since he is retired in living on a fixed income. I’m glad to say he was pleasantly surprised. He talked about the way they presented themselves, the different options they had for him as far as payment, as well as the pricing they ended up giving him Made it possible for him to take on a job he never thought he would be able to do. This company is amazing! Thank you guys!

Worst service possible! Absolute rudest disrespectful people I’ve ever HAD to work with! Also tried to pay me less then what was owed after I finally told them i would no longer make signs for them because of the disrespect. After I then had to snap to get the rest of my money it was finally paid. Don’t know if it’s cause I’m a woman and they think they could take advantage of me but I would never even think of allowing them to do buisness with anyone I care about maybe people I don’t like tho...
