Fish Window Cleaning - Albany, OR

The manager, Lonnie, responded promptly and courteously with an estimate to clean my 2-story house windows and screens, inside and out. The workers arrived within the estimated work window and were courteous as well, and got right to work. I greatly appreciated that they wore disposable boot coverings in the house.

I have 4 oversize windows, and 12 typical size windows, as well as 2 glass doors. They used an extension pole to reach the upstairs windows. The price seemed fair.

I made the mistake of not looking closely at their work until they left, but a quick scan as they were working gave a good impression. It was only after they left that I looked more closely and had a bit of disappointment. The first thing I noticed was the window tracks were still quite dirty. I didn't get the impression they had been cleaned at all. A quick call to Lonnie and he sent his crew back out the next day where they did a quick wipe. Lonnie had told me that cleaning them thoroughly was not part of the service. The last company I used included that service so I guess I was expecting that. My bad for not discussing this ahead of scheduling.

The next day, as I entered rooms with different outside light conditions than previously seen, there were a few windows with streaks and complete misses. I noticed they had neglected to clean the entry door and side window to the front door as well and some of the upper level windows were overlooked in a few places. I wasn't comfortable asking for the crew to come out again, especially since I didn't thoroughly inspect them before they left.

Three and 1/2 stars for friendly and timely service and adequate work. Dings for not cleaning the tracks better and for some less than perfect windows.

UPDATE: Lonnie reached out and offered to make amends based on my prior review. His professional concern and timely response in and of itself are worth extra stars. This is a company that stands by its work and takes pride in its services. I will be happy to give them another go next time my windows are due for cleaning.

I highly recommend Fish Window Cleaning! Our house windows look great! Chris and Lucca did excellent work. Lucca cleaned the windows inside including wiping the tracks and sills. She was respectful of our property and had a pleasant, friendly personality. Chris cleaned the windows outside and wiped the screens as well as going on the roof to clean the skylight. He was friendly and knowledgeable; Chris answered a couple of my questions and checked with me about the placement of one of our screens. They were very efficient, completing the work in one hour. Thank you to Lonnie, the owner, for providing this service and being reliable with his estimate, scheduling, and having the work done exactly as he described. So reasonably priced, we will have them clean our windows every Spring.

We have been wanting to get our windows cleaned, inside and out, and I finally found the perfect company to do it. When I called to talk about it, the customer service was friendly and quick. The estimator stopped by to take a look and gave us a bid that was very reasonable. When the window cleaning technician arrived, he was thoughtful, wore covers on his shoes while working in the house, and was very friendly during the entire process. Not only did my windows get clean, but he super cleaned the sills, slides, and screens. We are so impressed and highly recommend hiring Fish Window Cleaning!

Just had Noah from Fish window cleaning clean all the windows in my new home, the windows were very dirty inside and out from the previous tenants and could not believe the difference it made! Not only the visibility, but also the light that now is so much brighter inside than before. Wowza! I’ve used many window cleaners before Fish, but now I know Fish is the best ever!! My house is huge, set up on a high hill, and in a windy zone, so I feared for his life. Need not have worried though, because Fish has superlative tech with scary ladder work not required. Fish was exceedingly professional, well organized administratively, and friendly! And they also cleaned the screens!
